It was his fault this happened. He had blamed himself.
Bob had transported their bodies from where ever they were being held and placed them into their final resting spots with ease and created a nice little spot for them both to lay side by side, they seemed to be friends of some kind so he thought this would be something good to do.
"Everything I touch falls apart, It is funny that the good guys and heroes of this city will lie and deceive everybody they can to get their way, and I tell the truth. It is supposed to be the other way around, I know it is."
"Perhaps I should leave this world too. It is obviously not ready for what I have to offer it and no mind here could understand what I want to accomplish and when I try all of the idiots of the world decide at that exact moment in time it is their sworn duty to stop me in my tracks, well they have failed in their mission. I will complete my objective, then I will allow the true masters of this world to run it."
"I do not belong here you know. This place is far to primitive yet. Maybe in a few centuries or so I will return and try again, or maybe I will keep trying to accomplish my goal. It will have to depend on the ones I can still call friends, while they are still alive to let me know."
He then cast a spell and entombed the bodies in a crystal coffin laying side by side. He made them as they were in life, he could have brought them back to life right there but he decided that he would allow them the peace in death he could not seem to give them in life. They would both remain beautiful, time would not have it's way with them now, or ever again.
Bob simply vanished into nothingness, leaving the bodies behind in their eternal rest, forever.
"Goodbye, my friends." It whispered on the breeze as he left.
