Unshod hooves pounded the ground as she raced across the meadow, feeling the wind blowing through her mane and tail. Somehow she'd gotten separated from the herd.

Rearing onto her hind legs, a whinny was sent out on the breeze, before the unicorn dropped back to all fours, head tossed to feel the weight of the spiral horn on her forehead.

Ears perked and swivelled at each sound, though still not a trace of her band was sensed, tail swishing as she trotted around, finding a descent place to graze.
