In a far away land, there is a place shrouded in complete and total darkness. It never gets bright here and there is no sun, just a moon that is dark, circling the land with its lifeless and arcane purpose being felt by everybody who lives here. In this dark and terrible place, the people lived in sheer terror of the black land itself, for it sometimes came to life violently and sucked people into the ground at random, but it seemed to do this just to cause pain as it seemed to select the people that meant the most to others, so everybody in turn tried to keep to themselves and not attract the attention of the ground's wrath.

The plants thirsted for the blood all life and actively sought it out with a vengeance. No person was safe from these black and twisted weeds, so everybody tried to remain inside and tried to stay safe from the monster plants that stalked the wilderness.

The air itself was heavy, and filled with demonic words that traveled on the foul winds, speaking of madness, murder, and mass destruction. Anybody who would listen to the wind speak long enough would find the voices would no longer be within the wind, but inside their very minds, relentlessly screaming it's will into the mind who would slowly become a servant to the evil.

The Gods of this planet were cruel and vindictive beyond the realm of reason. If these terrible masters even thought they heard a voice rise against them, anywhere and at anytime, they would rage their godlike powers against the mortals and send their armies and curses against the people relentlessly until every living being bowed down in respect and terror of their almighty powers.

This was a world of endless horror, and nobody would ever want to come here, not even to visit. But one day something different came into the world, something special and unlike anything anything God or mortal alike had ever seen. A winged horse that was as black as the world it came to, but something was different about this creature it defied everything by existing.

The black earth decided it had to die, or else it could inspire those people around it to actually break free of their fear, and immediately the ground opened up to swallow the strange beast. However, the wings took it into the sky and the earth had failed, for the first time to kill something. Being a sensitive and easily scared creature, the ground learned fear for the first time. And it retreated deep into self.

The mystical horse then gazed upon the plants of the world, they were vicious and cruel to all, the horse had seen this and saw that things had to change. With a quick swoop down to the ground, the horse did not know the meaning of the word mercy, and opened his mouth, great flames burst from it and all the wickedness of the monster plants was burned away in a cleansing wave of fire.

Skies opened up and the monster that lived in the winds, driving people insane due to its constant suggestions appeared for the first time, to kill the new creature. It attacked with lightning and great swirling winds. Nothing would stopped the winged one as it flew up and avoided death. The monster in the sky was destroyed, himself when the horse unleashed strange blue eye beams. In one fell swoop the demon was murdered, and the wind would no longer would carry such horrible things ever again.

In a recoil of horror the Gods themselves came down to deal with this new beast once and for all, and they would summon all of their powers to destroy the horse. But the effect was strange on the beast and he only grew stronger with every blast of power directed against him. The Gods, one by one fell victim to the wrath of this horse's sheer power. And eventually they would all be destroyed.

The people came out in a great number after the battle and looked up into the sky for the first time with a sense of uncertainty in their minds. Then a voice that came to every person emitted from the horse. "My name is Slippy. I am a magical wonder horse, and now you are free from your oppression. Live and be happy." The horse's voice echoed as it flew into the dark sky, towards the east.

The second it faded from view, the very first rays of sunlight broke through the darkness for the very first time, it signaled the end of an era and the beginning of a new one for everybody.
