Aylin

Before As the audience of the heaven whispered, his voice boomed across the cosmos. "SILENCE." The great hall finally fell silent, though many harbored silent discord against the h"m"r". She stood there waiting for the council to pass judgement as her fingers fiddled with the gray robe.

"H"m"r", stand straight! Respect the position and bring no more shame." Dumah growled from across the room.

She snapped to attention and stood sentinel straight. "I have never brought shame."

"All stand." Jegudiel called out and light eyes went straight to the accussed. He knew the charges were false, but could prove nothing.

The choir of voices sang out again in a loud commotion of discord.

"ENOUGH. I demand SILENCE!." Dumah's voice rumbled and echoed in the great meeting hall. "What decision make you council" What verdict passed for the sentinel?"

Simiel stood and read the verdict. "Rikollinen."

A great gasp from many whispered through the great hall as Simiel read the sentence.

One word thundered from Galizur's mouth, "Kaatuneet."

"Olen viaton." Aylin said as they dragged her off to be punished.

Hours later, the blood soaked the sand dunes were caked in reddish brown clumps. Parts of bone and flesh scattered like ash across the ripples. The sentinel's was face down in the sand. Her face bright red from the sun's scorch, her lips chaffed and dry from having been there for several days. When she finally opened her eyes, she tried to focus, but she saw nothing for miles save the desert sands and hilly dunes.

A force of sheer will and she slowly pushed herself up to kneeling position. It was then Aylin was able to get a better look at the landscape and her condition. They'd branded her with dark marks across her chest, arms and down her side. Two deep scars across her back were opened and still oozing blood. This situation was dire, but instead of dwelling on the pain, she stood up and began walking. There was no where to go, but she kept walking.

The transition from another worldly canvas of flesh to the human suit had not sank in yet. The smell of blood followed her, so first thought it was a rancid smell wafting in the air. As she continued to walk, there was nothing behind but the barefoot tracks. As the wind started to blow, the smaller grains of sand filled the dips where once she walked.

The taste of sand chaffed her lips as she licked them over and over wondering why they hurt, wondering what this sensation in her mouth " dry mouth. Her tongue constantly moved on the roof of her mouth feeling what was there, and subconsciously the salvia wet the inside of her mouth until her brain was satisfied. The problem with that is the brain was never satisfied.

After the trial Dumah stood in the great hall waiting for Galizur to join him. Simiel stood guard and silent as the archangel finally arrived. "Are there others?" Dumah asked.

"She is the only one I am sending. I doubt she will be smart enough to make any impact on the final transition of hunters."

"And then what will happen Galizur?"

"Until revelation, the wisdom is for only a few. You are not there Dumah. I will use you to move all pieces into to place. I am the conductor, you are the instrument. I am the eyes of the Holy Father. I am His hands. You are my fingers."

"I trust you have sent sentinels to Idris."

"I have sent a legion and two more waiting your command. What about the nexus?"

"Let me worry about that. There are others I must deal with there. Dumah, you can go. Simiel, you stay."

"What will you have me do sir?" Simiel shoved the holy sword into the scabbard and stepped forward toward Galizur.

"Find the Kaatuneet. Clothe her. Instruct her to mind our affairs in this place. Have her watch over the hunters, or thing like hunters. Tell her to watch the eksynyt, especially Sammael."

"Yes sir." He turned to walk away.

"Simiel. One last thing. Have her report to you and make sure you tell her interfering will bring more shame than she's already brought to us."

Tensing his jaw. "Yes sir, I will." He parted for the nexus.

Simiel stood on the highest mountain in the infernal place called the Nexus. He, being an obedient servant of the All Mighty, Elohim, Elohay Kedem (God of the Beginning), Elohay Mishpat- God Of Justice, Elohay Selichot - God Of Forgiveness, Elohay Mikarov - God Who Is Near, Elohay Elohim - God Of Gods and El Emet - The God Of Truth.

"Where are you now in our greatest hour" Sammael has split the heavens. Galizur-Raziel is using Dumah to move all pieces in place. One called Kaatuneet, one accused of crimes she did not commit. All those in heaven knew it and did not stand, I did not stand. It makes me the guilty one. Raziel is not your eyes, not your hands Elohim. Neither is Sammael, neither is Sammael."

Simi wanted to fly, to fall because of his failure. If he did, then what? A great war was coming and he knew it. It wasn't the first war when his brethren were kicked out, this one will be much greater. This one will be the end of all days.

His task, now to find the Kaatuneet.
