Those bright blue eyes of hers able to catch anyone off guard if they looked into them, stared out the window of her rather large room in the Belarus Estates. A small petite hand was placed on the cool surface of the glass as the rain just seemed to keep pouring outside. Such a gloomy day in Rhy'din, and it always seemed to get like this around this time of year. If it wasn't raining it was snowing. Though she would much rather take the snow over the freezing rain and cold though. At least you could play with the white puffy stuff that clung to the ground.
Her gaze shifted to the mothers and children that still went out in this trecherous weather. The mothers had the kids bundled up from head to toe, And ontop of all that A raincoat that covered all the clothing underneath. The children waddled barely able to move their legs, much less their arms to get to where their mothers were pulling them to. The mothers though were much less dressed down, a little plastic baggy looking thing over their hair with an umbrella draped overtop of both them and their child. Uriko ran her finger down the glass tracing where the raindrops were falling one by one and closed her eyes. She wondered if her mother would of ever done that for her when she was younger. Protect her from un-needed harm, pull her to the marketplace streets to do their shopping together, and just plainly spend time with her. The thoughts were wildly running through her head now as she kept her eyes closed.
A loud beeping was heard, then a pawing at her leg was felt.
Her eyes shifted open to look down at the small little cat that had been pawing at her leg. She gave a playful smile to the little one, happy that it had been doing better. Just about a couple of days ago she had found it laying in the snow, cold, tired, and hungry. With her Knack for animals she could not just leave it out there to freeze to death, so she brought it in her home. She had warmed it up, Dried it off and fed it. Now the little thing seemed to be full of energy quite greatful that she had saved him.
"Are you trying to tell me dinner is ready?"
She giggled to the little animal walking over the stove. She replaced the few strands of long light brown hair that fell into her face back into the pony tail of hers and opened the front of the stove. The little cat seemed to dance around her as she put potholders on her hands and pulled out the meal. The smell of chicken and rice filled the room. The cat seemed to drop to it's side and roll over all cutely in the ectasy of the smell. It was a rather large meal for just one person, but what was she to do' She couldn't exactly just cut off certain parts of it when it was frozen or thawed and put the rest in a baggy for later. Then again she couldn't just keep cooking whole meals like this and try to eat the leftovers day after day, only to let it ultimately get thrown away. But that was her only choice for now.
She took two forks and picked up the chicken from the pot setting it on a large serving plate. Grabbing a spoon she picked the rice out from inside the chicken that she had stuffed inside to give it a bit of flavor. The rice being neatly put to the side of the plate. Picking up the plate she brought it to her table putting it infront of the candle. She liked to use candles to light her house rather then lights, expecially on rainy days. She enjoyed the dimness, Expecially when she was alone. The little cat jumped up on the table swaying it's tail as she took a seat. "Kramer! What did I tell you about being on the table..Oh well it doesn't matter, not like your a massive shedder anyways."
The tabby seemed to gleem with happieness as it sat there. She pulled her glass of juice twords her, cutting off a piece for herself and scooping some rice ontop of her own plate. She looked to the cat once more.
"Bon Appetite!"
She smiled taking a bite of her meal then looked to the door. After all she wouldn't have minded for anyone to come and share dinner with her since she had so much. But Alas, very rarely did one come to visit her, expecially at dinner time.
