It was upon Galdara, a desolate world ruled by drow, that Kharnus, prince of Sa'Vish'na, had come to lead an army of sun elves and humans to crush the cursed drow, which had ravaged the once green, lush world. He brought with him Natira, a half sun elf/half fae woman of great beauty and skilled warrior-priestess of the goddess Isis, his betrothed, who was carrying their child, an heir to Sa'Vish'na. She was pregeant, and wanted to be by her love's side though he did not want her in harm's way. But he always bent to her voice and took her with him, to Galdara. And so on the fourth month of the campaign, with seeming victory for Kharnus and his armies, the drow made a desperate attempt to weaken the General's reslove. They kidnapped Natira, and hid her in a deep cave, and thus for two weeks Kharnus searched with the help of his elite guard, the Saru'kar or fearless ones. They did find her, after a fierce fight inthe underground complex, beaten, bleeding and violated. When Natira told her love that she lost the their child, Kharnus grew angered, enraged, with tears he tried to save her, but she was beyond that. She said that she loved him, then she died in his arms. He ordered his men to take her back to his ship, and to recall all troops at once. This they did...Upon returning to his ship, Kharnus summoned all of his power, and sent forth a wave of cosmic power to disrupt the sun, which gave light to Galdara. In an instant, the star exploded, ripping apart Galdara, killing millions of Drow, men, women and children. Without any tears, he and his fleet returned to Arabrab, his and Natira's home, he laid her in his family's crypt. And swore to her family he would not rest until all drow were gone from all worlds. Thus began the Darkest period in Kharnus's life, with no end in sight....
