A young male dragon recently found himself on the outskirts of Rhy'din; the southern glen to be exact. He was wandering the mountainside, in search of a place he could perhaps call home. He was about the size of a particularly large rhino, or a small elephant. His scales were a dark blue, and his eyes a golden color that spoke of loneliness and sad memories. There were several wounds acquired from a time he had run into a wyvern nest, the most noticeable were a torn and tattered wing, which was beyond repair; a missing ear; and a scar that travelled from where his ear was to the side of his tail.

Ever since his father had murdered the rest of his family, he had been forced to live on his own. He had been a young hatchling then, and remembered very little, other than that fateful day where he had been forced to live alone.

He found what seemed to be a suitable place, a shallow cave just on the edge of the lake. He had to swim to get to it, but it was quite dry inside and went far enough back that he wouldn't have to worry about the lake. He crawled into it after swimming across the lake and took one look around. This would be his home. He moved to the entrance to the cave and lay down, staring out across the lake into the distance, but not really seeing, only remembering.

The blue dragoness had seen the young male, pausing at the mouth of her own lair, obscured by the waterfall, she peered out, before taking wing, gliding toward where she'd last seen the young one.

Landing carefully, she moved closer, not wanting to frighten him, hello?

He recognized Icer from the night before, and watched her warily. The nexus had claimed him just after the attempt to heal his wing, and wasn't feeling too comfortable with them right now. His shoulder still had twinges of pain whenever he moved his wing.

He was just far enough in the cave where he wouldn't be seen, or so he hoped. Staying as still as he could, he waited silently.

Waddling abit closer to the entrance of the cavern, she took in the scents and sounds, dropping into a crouch just outside, her tail wrapping around her haunches.

It's alright young one, I will nae hurt you.

he catiously moved forward, watching her warily. The same thing that held him in place before gave him enough courage to approach. He winced slightly as his injured wing brushed against the side of the cave, and stopped short. He was afraid, but he was also alone.

The dragoness remained crouched where she stood, not making any sudden movements, as she did not want to frighten the young male. My mate didn't mean to hurt you Sileth, he wanted to help you.

Ice blue eyes remained on the young one as he moved closer, finally stretching her serpentine neck to gently nuzzle Sileth gently, her motherly instinct once again kicking in.

He twitched, not used to a touch that wasn't meant to cause harm. His entire life had been spent following the 'kill or be killed' rule, on his own in the wilderness. Now that rule wouldn't apply anymore, or not quite as much anyway. He was giving them a second chance it seemed, although it wasn't likely that he would come up to the others quite so willingly yet. For some strange reason that he couldn't figure out, he found that he trusted her.

Even so, he still kept a slight distance between himself and Icer, remaining silent as he rarely talked anyway.
