It was the day after the full moon came out and winter swept the land with joy despite its bitter coldness. The day after the one holiday of the year where people give and are given. The day after the one holiday where forgiveness is at it's peak. It was the day after Christmas.

Side swept winds carried white blankets of snow across the cobblestone streets of Rhy'Din. It's River and lakes frozen over. Snowy structures had black smoke protruding from they're smoke stacks. It's buildings and trees were like powdered monuments reminding people of the harsh cold, the joy, and yet the loneliness. Syn had just arrived back home from the 7th Nano War fought between the Core Empire and the Mahinai, Nano Empire.

Standing for long hours in the Zen garden that took up most of the courtyard Syn waited. Striding back and forth, and around the Zen pond that seemed like it was the only body of water not frozen over; only because it was heated to keep the Guktah fishoid creatures within alive. Snow covered large scale banzai trees looked as if the cold drained they're synergy away from the bark and greenery of they're leaves.

His clothing draped in snow and fog escaped his lips as he exhaled. It was a blistering day but he seemed relentless to give up on waiting. News had come his way about an old memory, obviously from his past, was on it's way to the system of Rhy'Din. The transmission came to him three days earlier. Excited and yet the feeling of nervousness kicked in. Packs of cigarettes and Glass Sujiama bottles filled a nearby receptacle bin near a bench proving this very thing.

"......alas, like a sharpened blade he cuts my memory. Forging my sight on those glorious days of the Empire....Alas my comrade has returned to the inner systems."

The feeling of his old comrade coming nearer and nearer had filled his sensory. The visions of the past clouding his minds eye, he could only day dream till "he" had arrived.
