Story Begins: If one were to look up at the distant mountains snow capped peaks could be seen for miles around. Luscious greenery surrounded something spectacular but hidden. Orodnim, the lost kingdom in the Far East Mountains of Arcadia, was nestled into the mountainside. It is here where there lived a very powerful Elven Family known as the Alassien's. The family of five were revered as well as feared. The queen Cel"wen was of pure elven blood. She was wed to Valdur. Valdur was not elven but Nosritrel.

Valdur was a man with great power and physical strength. Growing up in the mountains and raised by a surrogate family he acquired great skills in blacksmithing and earth manipulation. Working with fire fed him and provided a source of constant regenerating power. It was this that sparked Cel"wen's interest in him. Being a queen by birth Cel"wen had birth given powers. Her most powerful dealt with the air. Aerokinesis, Aeroportation, and Atmokineses are embedded into her blood. These powers matched Valdur's innate power to control the earth elements. Cel"wen's hunger and need to have the ultimate power caused her to fall in love with Valdur.

The pair gave birth to three children, Thex, Annalyn, and Nithion. The children all were gifted with different focuses in magic but the only one born with a combination was the eldest, Thex. This caused great tension between the siblings. As time passed the tension between Thex and Nithion continued to grow. Thex wanted to help the people grow and prosper. The people of Orodnim were diverse; from humble farms people to very skilled craftsmen. Thex understood that helping the people would make the kingdom grow.

All of this went against the family's wishes. Queen Cel"wen wanted nothing but power and King Valdur wanted prosperity. Thex was the only one thinking of the people. Valdur and Cel?wen favored his younger brother to take the throne. The tension grew as the years went by. Thex and Nithion would ultimately be mortal enemies. Thex had had enough of his family and their ways. He needed a way out to escape from the monstrosity his family had become.

While the family slept one dark night Thex escaped the palace into a portal created by a strange witch. He took with him only a bag of clothes and a wealth of money. The portals lead him to this strange world of Rhydin. Here is where he can be found. The last he has heard form his family is their rule had intensified.

High in the white peaks of the Ravencrag Mountains lies the hidden Elven Kingdom of Orodnim. The Alassien family, who long ago established control of the mountains and their peoples, were feared and revered throughout the land.

Orodnim is divided into social classes that define its many citizens. The Lords oversee a council of Masters, who are responsible for the Tradesmen that have made the region somewhat famous and bring revenue into this otherwise remote region. Unskilled Citizens are below the Tradesmen, and provide the mundane goods and services that are needed by the classes above them.

The landscape surrounding Orodnim can be harsh in the winter months, but is sought as a serene refuge by many in the warmer seasons. Grand views, babbling brooks, and ornate configurations of crystalline deposits provide a peaceful backdrop for quiet contemplation. These rich natural resources, coupled with the specialized tools and skilled hands of the Orodnim Tradesmen, have also led to the discovery of many natural compounds that have proved useful as medicines, building materials, and even components for firearms.

This juxtaposition of environment and engineering is reflected in the crafts made by Orodnim's peoples. The palace itself is nestled into the mountainside. The crystal like buildings protruded outside of the mountainside creating the illusion that the palace was floating above the land. This matched the ruling style of the Alassien's.
