The sun was just setting. In her little village where Tequila flowed freely like water and the salsa was hot enough to make you sweat! However though it was warm here most of the time a nice breeze carrying the smell of exotic flowers made it paradise. She smiled as she watched the sun set from the roof of her tiny house. The weather was nice enough that there was no need for an air conditioner or fan. Just have the windows open and it was perfect.

The perfect moment of heaven was shattered however when she saw someone waving at her from the corner of her eye. She moved to the edge of the roof and peered down. It was a small boy of about eight or nine who lived only three houses away. He was dressed in a light blue t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes, "S" Pablo cu"l es "l?" Her Spanish was perfect and lovely to listen to. What is it she had asked him.

?"Marco que "l es enfermo puede usted ayudar otra vez por favor?" The little boy asked looking at her. Marco he is sick again can you please help" The little boy replied with a worried look on his face. Marco was his younger brother. He was the oldest and he was very close to his family and very worried.

"Me llevar" s" "l." Yes I will take me to him. Was her reply as she climbed down the ladder. Weather permitted her to wear a simple white tank top with a brown flowy skirt that ended at the knees. A pair of brown sandals. Hair pulled into a hight ponytail. Worry came over her face as the little boy grabbed her hand and lead her to the house.

The home was much like her own. Open, airy, warm, and inviting. The smell of good cooking filled the house. Making you feel right at home or hungry to your stomach. She smiled and greeted the parents. The mother stayed at home all day taking care and raising the children while the father like most of the men worked very hard from dawn until dusk just to keep bread on the table and clothes on the children.

She was lead into the bedroom. The walls painted white featuring posters of their favorite sports stars and musicians. She smiled before she sat on the edge of the bed where the young boy lie. Her nose wrinkled since he smelled of sweet sour sickness and sweat. The other boy looked worried as he sat down in the chair next to the bed and waited.

She smiled sweetly at the sick boy. Her eyes fluttering shut as she called up that raw wild power deep within her and searched him. He was very weak and the sickness was flowing freely through his tiny body. However she did not let her concentration waver. She called upon that positive energy. Her lips moving as she mumbled a well known prayer. She let that positive healing energy fill up the boy and wash away his sickness.

A bead of sweat had formed on her brow and she was suddenly weary. Healing always took a lot out of her. The boy helped her to the kitchen where she was treated to some menudo and tortillas to re-gain her strength. After dinner and after making sure the boy was going to be alright she went home and fell into a fitful sleep.

Cold. A cold breeze. Missing the smell of exotic flowers from home. Slowly those eyes opened to see a cloudy sky above her. Confusion over came her. This was not home. It did not look like, smell, or feel like home. She sat up and realized she was not laying in her bed but upon the side of a street. What was going on now" She heard the bustling business of a town or city. But it did not have the same flow as her home.

She got to her feet and dusted herself off. Still in the same outfit from last night since she had been too tired to change. She shivered in the weather that was not akin to home. Rubbing her arms to warm herself up her eyes widened and mouth dropped open when she finally saw that it was not humans, though she did spot those, but all manner and types of creature that she had only read about in story books were wandering around freely!

After getting over her initial shock she walked up to a nice looking woman and asked where she might find a place to stay. The kind woman pointed down the road toward an inn. The Red Dragon Inn it was called. She thanked the woman gratefully as sandaled covered feet carried her that way. She wondered what this wonderfully mysterious place was that she had woken up in. She knew it was no dream but a reality. It seems Rhy'Din has added a hot vixen from the south into the mix!
