Morriah, now 17, Has grown into a beautiful young girl with lightly tanned skin, dark aburn-red hair, golden eyes with a hint of green in them. Along with these, she has strange markings on her face with cat-like striped ears, tail, claws, and fangs. The most peculiar thing about her being her large black-feathered wings.
Running here and there, pouncing and climbing, she played happily. even though she has ever known one person her entire life, she was never lonely. here she was by herself as the woman had died a while back and she didn't trust anyone sense she was hunted and running for her life constantly.
Suddenly as she was tracking a lizard to pounce, a shaddow flew over head. Looking up, she saw what she feared. The reptile race. They had found her. she learned early on that hidding was useless as they found her with no problem everytime. She would normally run but this time she was cornered and would have to face them.
They came to suround her, the leader right in front of her. Standing her ground, she spread her wings out wide and prepared to fight for her life.
The huge man spoke in a deep voice full of smoke and heat. His red eyes boring into her like prey. She had learned in a chase that his name was Zykan and that he had no heart or pity.
"Muts have no place in this world. Though you seem powerless, you are still impure and therefore must be exterminated!"
Feeling a strange sensation along with the terror she wasn't showing came into her at his words. Not having any powers, she didn't know what to do or how to react.
Zykan charged forward to attack this so called worthless child.
Morriah's instincts kicked in and fire she didn't even know was there came from her mouth at him. Jumping up she morphs her tail into a spiked dino tail and swung it around the group giving her a way to escape.
She took to the sky and flew as far away as possible.
