The Xiuhcoatl moved downward from the clouds above. Light a ship upon the sea she glided into range of the ground below. When she had come within a hundred feet of the ground, a flag was raised at her aft. The distinct flag of The Lysandros Pirate Syndicate hoisted high into the air, a moment before the cannons upon the ship's port side let loose a volley of destruction upon the army below.

Sword and spear, did little against an opponent upon a sky ship. Cannons from above sounded off, explosions riddled the landscape below. Soldiers were flung into the air by exploding shells. The Xiuhcoatl had been upgraded recently. Her cannons were more high tech and each one was auto loading now. This lowered the response time for firing considerably. Battle Androids, which made up the bulk of the crew, watched over the cannons upon the three decks that housed them. The few archers upon the army below, tried their best to reach the sky ship high above with their arrows. The couple that actually hit the ship's hull did what appeared to be no damage what so ever. The hull could take far more then a little arrow indeed. An army of thousands, reduced to less then a hundred upon less then half an hour.

One of the few living crew members of the sky ship approached a bald man upon the deck. Antaeus was indeed unique, as were many of Zayveon's friends. An up right walking bear of swamp green fur. His large wings folded gently at his back as he took up a stance beside Zayveon and gazed downward over the railing at the destruction and death below. "That's the third army, in two weeks we've reduced to near nothing. You know I'm going to miss you about when you start having fun in space. The ship won't be the same for a while." Zayveon perked a smile and gave a nod aside to Antaeus. "The ship has a good crew my friend. I've not doubt you'll be doing your part to further out goals here on Rhydin from the air, while I'm going back and forth from the city to my ship in space. She's my ship, I won't be absent from her all the time my friend." Antaeus gave a nod from his height down at Zayveon, looking back out and over the railing at the chaos below upon the battle field. "Another day, another army meets it's doom."

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages." Zayveon perked a smile as he sat back within his command chair upon the bridge of his newly acquired ship. She was a little over a thousand meters in length and about 198 meters in width. Well armed and holding that of a large hanger bay for incoming and out going shuttle craft, it was time to test her virtual.

"Let us see, what this remnant Imperial Admiral has to offer. Should he blink, we'll erase him from the stars. Tactical, ready all weapon systems. Engage shielding. Signal all droid frigates, they engage the enemy only upon us firing first. Relay to them that the Admiral's ship, should we engage, is mine to deal with. Helm, ahead one quarter. Gun crews stand at the ready." Zayveon couldn't help but smirk a bit as he whispered.

"Cry Havoc, and let slip the dogs of war..."

Several droid frigates moved in from the left. Heavy plasma cannons as that of heavy ion cannons battered away at the Imperial escort ships. When their shields strength grew weak, it was then the Syndicate frigates would open fire with their missiles and cast the enemy vessels to their deaths. The Imperial Admiral didn't like Zayveon's terms and thus his fleet had opened fire. A foolish course indeed.

The Summanus, which meant in old myth a god of nocturnal lightening and thunder, had drew in closer toward the Admiral's command ship. As The Summanus moved to put her prey along her port side, disruptor cannons and railguns opened fire. Five torpedo launchers let loose a volley of plasma torpedoes into the Imperial Destroyer. A series of explosions racked through the ship. Zayveon only perked a smile as he sat upon his command chair on the bridge of his vessel.

"Double, double toil and trouble. Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.." Zayveon turned his gaze over toward a display screen as the Admiral of the Imperial vessel was trying to get through. "Now now, you've made your choice, stick by it and be strong. Don't crawl to me now and ask to live. Be a male and stand tall in your choice of venture. Less all you hold be that of coward." Zayveon motioned to the tactical officer at his station. "I've things to get to, let us be done with this former Admiral and his petty fleet." Railgun turrets and plasma torpedoes struck out from Zayveon's command ship and impacted with the already badly damaged Imperial Destroyer. Explosions brilliantly rippled within the vessel. Her bridge set flaming within. The support ships were finished off by the quick moving droid frigates of the Syndicate.

Zayveon's eyes turned over toward an approaching lieutenant. "What news, do you bring me?" The woman smiled deeply and held out a metallic briefcase toward Zayveon to which he took hold and slowly opened for his eyes to gaze within. "You've secured the specifications...excellent my dear spy. Helm, we leave immediately. Set course for Rhydin's largest moon and dispatch a secure message to our ship yards there to be ready for the next class."
