Known to his enemies as The Black Dragon, feared warlord of Edward Longshanks and to his men Lord Challon, Julian Challon was growing weary of the soldier's life. The gory and savage battles the greedy King sent him into were tearing him apart, piece by piece. He was tired. He was ready to disappear somewhere and settle down, start a life, a real one, one to be proud of, with a wife and children. Heck, maybe even a dog. Julian just wanted to get away from the life he had now, pass the feared black dragon symbol onto one of his brothers, they were young, and they could carry on the dreaded legend.
