"Why is she here, boss?"

James "Jimmy" Smith was arching a brow below the rim of his hat. Dressed like a man wearing a suit right out of the 1950's back on Earth, a matching hat and twin leather shoulder rig laid below the suit coat of gray. His eyes were curious as they looked over from the chair to Mr. Kerbero sitting behind the desk.

"She needs help. She's not well with her current state, Jimmy. She' afraid and alone in the night." Kerbero gave a slow nod over the desk at Jimmy. He was what you'd call one of several perfect products of Mr. Kerbero's 'company' he built years ago in Europe back on Earth for research. Jimmy, like many of Mr. Kerbero's bodyguards, held all the strengths of a Vampire but few of the weaknesses. A Day Walker, was the coined term for him. The Research had started over two decades ago nearly. Many of the Vampires experimented on didn't survive. At that time though, there were places in Europe back on Earth which held plenty of Vampires to experiment on and through trial and error, finally a break through was made. Of course, they could still be killed. But now instead of merely having bodyguards that could only go out at night with their supreme strength along with other abilities, Mr. Kerbero now had in his possession bodyguards with no weakness to sunlight or a few other things that hindered his previous night only, bodyguards.

Osyrius Madison came into the room in his jeans and the cut off sleeve jacket. His shaved head seemed to almost play the dim lighting over the curve of his skull as he ran a hand over his beard while approaching Mr. Kerbero's desk. Unlike Jimmy, Osyrius was a more rough around the edges sort. A Lycan with a taste for trouble. "Boss, we had some trouble down by the docks again. Atlas is cleaning things up with Lee. Mess should be gathered and shipping back on track within two hours." Mr. Kerbero would give a shift of his gaze over at Osyrius with a perking brow. "Did we lose any of gold?" Osyrius gave a shake of his head. "No. But you lost three soldiers. Two Vampire, One Lycan. I managed to take out one of the getaway cars. Um, by the way, Boss, Who's the chick in the other room?" A smile perked Kerbero's lips. "She is my guest, Osyrius. I'm going to help her, find her way in the dark." Osyrius gave a nod of his head. "She up for treatment, Boss?" Kerbero gave a light shake of his head. "Not currently, no. Keeping her in the dark, so to speak, is needed for the near future. It'll help keep her confined with her inability to go out during the day. She's alone in the dark currently and I'm going to help show her the way." Osyrius gave a nod of his head. A light tap of a finger tip to the ring worn upon his left hand. "The submarine is back online, Boss. Though with the trouble at the docks tonight, I thought it best to stay out at sea until tomorrow night perhaps." Mr. Kerbero gave a nod and a smile to Osyrius. "Smart thinking, my Lycan friend. I have six new Lycans I've acquired that need training to become proper bodyguards. See to it they are broke in on the rules, Osyrius." A grin perked Osyrius' lips as he gave a nod. "Will do, Boss." Giving a nod to Jimmy, he slid from the room to head downstairs.

"You going to keep her?" Jimmy inquired, as his gaze turned from the departing Osyrius, over at Mr. Kerbero. "I may, yes. Who knows, perhaps in time she won't wish to leave."
