"Captain, we have two Goblin class airships off the port, D-minus four hundred yards."
Deep red hair was set off by an almost extreme light of violet coloring set to the woman's skin. A tip of her dark hat to her first officer as she turned her gaze over the rail toward the pair of Goblin airships below. "Drop us three hundred yards and prepare to fire off all port side guns at my command." The first officer shouted out the command and a mixing of living beings and droids moved about the decks, preparing of the port side cannons. Thirty-three cannons in total upon the Skyship were standing ready in moments as the ships lowered with the aid of her hover engines. As the ship lowered through the clouds, suddenly dropping into view above and roughly a hundred yards away from the pair of Goblin airships the order was given.
Cannons erupted, impacting the airships with thunderous results. Cheaper, many Goblins as others, used gigantic balloons to fly of their airships. A disadvantage indeed. An explosive series of cannon balls impacted to the aft balloon of one of the airships. The ship started to loose it's ability to maintain itself upon the sky, starting to sink toward the sea below. Possibly a skilled crew could of set of the damaged airship down into the water with few injuries. However, it wasn't given the chance. Thunderous cannons echoed out, ripping into the aft deck and setting off gunpowder. Truly a magnificent sight to behold. The explosings, the screams, the fire gulping up the ship...stern to bow. The second vessel might of made an escape while the first's doom was set forth. It would have, if it had not been for a second Skyship dropping out of the clouds at her aft and opening fire with a pair of bow chase guns. Tearing up the Goblin's rudders before a flash of fire shout out from the deck of the second Skyship and impacted with the Goblin's main 'lift' balloon. Fire spawned through the balloon downward along the support ropes to the main deck.
A woman with dark red hair upon the second Skyship perked a smile as she reached upwards to push of her goggles back. A soft blow of breath at her fingertips. "Silly Goblins. Trying to escape a Pyromancer with hydrogen balloons." Her smile well satisfied as she turned a glance over toward the other Skyship while motioning a hand at her helmsman. "Signal my sister and tell her we're leaving the second airship to burn and plummet to it's fate below. We don't want to be late for our meeting with our Father." A nod from the helmsman. "I'll contact and send word myself, Captain Zayveon."
Captain Abigail Zayveon of the 'Rising Sun' gave a nod and smirked some over the rail at her sister's ship. At the same time, Captain Brianna Zayveon of the 'Arctic Star' was perking a smile onboard her vessel as well. The Lysandros Syndicate held several designs they sold to others, but the design of Lord Zayveon's Skyship The Xiuhcoatl, had only been repeated twice. Not to be sold off to others, but given to two of Lord Zayveon's many daughters. Abigail and Brianna, one Pyromancer and one Hydromancer. Separate, they were dangerous. Together, they made up a deadly force upon Rhydin's skies.
Many had learned to fear Lord Zayveon's Skyship, The Xiuhcoatl. Now, there were three like' vessels upon Rhydin's skies.
