Reactor failed. Ran too close to the edge and paid the price. It's completely shot to shit thanks to some thug in a Scyk tailing me in one of the out systems. Lucky to be able to land in one piece, with life support failing. Might be able to salvage the engine and capacitor. Nav comp is down too....or I ended up somewhere off the charts. Which is more likely"
Spaceport here is a little run down. Not entirely sure where here is. They don't have any replacement parts for the reactor, not even enough for me to cobble something together. Maybe next week, they said.
My head hurts, down to the tip of my lekku. If I were back in a more civilized part of the galaxy, I'd just find a smuggler and buy whatever bit of spice he'd sell me. . . but none of that here.
I needed a drink, a long walk, and a bath. Maybe not in that order, so I started with a walk, then a drink when I found some other Inn. Place with some sort of red lizard on it. Backwater, low tech, but free ale, hey' At least no one complained when I got my own drink(s).
Met someone named Sage who also got her own drink but paid for it. Guess I still have a conscience, even after everything the enclave taught me. Need to find a bank and get my creds changed over.
Also saw a funny looking bug. Small person. With wings. I think. This was after I had something to drink, so it might not have really been there. I've seen a lot of crazy stuff, but tiny little people with wings"
Maybe they put some additives in the ale.
Bath helped with the headache. Going to dance tonight, alone, until I'm exhausted. Worried about the dreams coming back, though.
