500 years had passed since the death of Kalak, Dragon-king of Tyr, and all that remained of Rajaat's champions were Hamanu, ruler of Urik; Dregoth of Raam; Atzetuk, lord of Draj; Andropinis of Balic and Kalis-Nar of the far southren city-state of Ka-lisra. Lalali-Puy of Gulg had been destroyed by Nibenay, Dragon-King of Nibenay, who in turn was annihilated by Dregoth. Kalis-Nar had conquered Tyr, expanding his empire, after a two year siege of the free city, placing his Mul general, Cyaxares in charge. Now Dregoth was in a war with Hamanu, and Kalis-Nar was in a war with Andropinis. Atzetuk's troops stayed in Draj to protect against any attacks on his city. With his combined forces of two city-states, Kalis-Nar, overran Andropinis' forces within a year, with help from the Trade Lords of Balic, in a fierce fight that lasted three days, Kalis-Nar, killed Andropinis and absorbed his power, which made Kalis-Nar stronger. He then moved against Dregoth and Hamanu, the two foes had to stop their war and fight Kalis-Nar's greater army, but their forces were weakened by their war and they were crushed, in a terrible fight, Kalis-Nar, destroyed both Dregoth and Hamanu, and took both their power, making him even more powerful. With the armies of five city-states, nearing over 50,000 tropps, Kalis-Nar had a great empire, but one last opponent, Atzetuk and his 28,000 troops. This was to be Kalis-Nar's greatest challenge and longest fight, a ten year war and siege. But in the end Kalis-Nar and his forces, with all of his tactics and power, finally decimated Draj, laying waste to the city and its populace, with the power of all the other Dragon-Kings he viciously killed Atzetuk and absorbed his power, making Kalis-Nar the one and only God-King of Athas. He left Draj a ruin as a reminder, and built temples and other monuments to himself, he made himself Athas's one and only true god. Atfer his war he began his campaign to crush all preserver wizards.
