Hours and hours zipped by as the Gypsy remained confined to her tent. With a crinkled copy of a flier with "Beltane" printed on it, she decided to take a break from her ridiculous turmoils by planning some old fashioned fun. Like any girl, she found it relaxing and pleasantly exciting to figure out what to wear for the even in advance.

Chase's clothes didn't take much room. Since they were mostly small articles that exposed her body more than cover them, they were quite travel-friendly and light weighted. Yet, she had a special top she had in mind.

If only she could find the bloody thing! She felt in the mood to dress and impress, so to speak. Chase had been working tirelessly at the club for some time now. It certainly showed in her physique.

Currently, she wore a neon green bikini top. Tossing random halter tops, tube tops, and sleeves t-shirts over her back, she bent over a small chest of clothes she had.

"The hell is that thing!?" She whined to herself while tossing article after article of clothes to the growing mound behind her.

Then, she found it. "Eureka!"

Putting her arms through the holes, she zipped it up. Lacings were on the sides with rawhide ties. Silver grommets lined the sides. She zipped it all the way up, only to smirk. Slowly, she zipped it downwards to dip just under her bikini top.

Hey, it was a bathing suit! It was okay to have it visible, right' Then, she leeeaned to a small pole she had horizontal hung beside the mirror to yank off a belt that hung there. It was one back from her touring days with her band. Winding that about her waist, she smiled. Content wearing black fitted pants, she twirled and posed in different angles to view her chosen outfit for the thing.

It was flawless.

"Perfect!"

She settled for her leather halter top with collars and front pockets. And simple black pants.

Tom spent about an hour going through his closet deciding what to wear. Finally, he decided on his Dress Whites, with full ribbons

Beltane Attire:

Azjah's missive to Koy worked miracles, for which Azjah was profoundly thankful.

The Beltane dress was absolutely perfect given what she had learned about the festival. It started out a deep, forest green shade at her ankle and slowly changed shades to a bright spring green at her shoulder. It was nearly translucent and gave intriguing hints of what lay beneath the fine, diaphanous silk. It was shot through with myriad fine threads of metallic sheen in peacock blue, rose red, fuschia, emerald and gold just enough to add a touch of shimmer with any movement.

The hem line was sharply asymmetrical, starting at her ankle on the left, and rising swiftly to her right hip, leaving most of the right leg utterly bare. The sleeves mirrored this sharp contrast, her left arm was encased in a fitted long sleeve that came to a point over her hand, but the right arm was completely bare as well.

The neck line was formed as the shimmering material crossed from her hip on the right to the shoulder on her left, leaving the cling to her body as the means of keeping the neckline in place.

Azjah stood before the full length mirror as Katarina worked on her hair. She had decided to surprise Wil with an added artistic touch, and using the Rigelian implants, altered her skin for the night. Starting at her ankles was a vine that wound its way up her bared leg, curling and twisting along the length of exposed skin as a wild vine might climb into a tree. It too was in shades of green with a hint of flowers still in bud, but not yet opened.

The vine disappeared into the dress before re-emerging along her bared arm and winding down toward her wrist, where a golden cymbidium encircled her wrist, and tendrils of vine threaded down her index finger to manicured nails in a pale shade of salmon.

Twin vines rose along her throat to disappear into her hairline, where Katarina had done the platinum blonde hair into an intricate chignon and placed a comb of oncidium orchids and English ivy which trailed midway down her half bared back.

The sandals were flat, and she missed the added height of her stilettos, but these worked much better for the feeling of a carefree woodland creature. She studied the image reflected back at her and realized that she had captured the visual essence of a nymph of the forest.

Elessaria decided she would attend the festivities for the first night of Beltane before she took a week away from RhyDin. Her return had been very emotional and had worn hard on the empath. However, she was a creature of Spring. In fact, The Lady Fire of Evandar had been born on the Spring Equinox 138 years ago. She had been unable to do her usual annual pilgramage to Evandar this year due to her captivity; so, she would take a brief respite and celebrate with her friends. After all, one of her Misfits had been named May Queen!

The diminutive elfess poured through her seemingly endless closets until she found the gown she desired. It was crafted of silk chiffon that was ombre shaded from white to shades of blue. The magical quality of the finely crafted elven material had a diaphanous effect which teased the eye and tempted the imagination rather than openly display her feminine qualities.

Little jewelry adorned her other than a delicate anklet of sparkling gemstones that ranged from clear to the deepest sapphire and upon her right middle finger she wore the ring of the House of Devabrial— her father's signet ring.

Just before she headed to the Glen, Eless wove fragrant sprigs of freesia into her golden hair which flowed freely to fall about her knees.

Despite Serena's massive clothing collection that takes up practically her entire rented room in the Red Dragon Inn, she has very few dresses for such an occasion. It was a fact that her twin, Sam, discovered with a scowl after picking through piles of board shorts, bikini tops, and hooded sweatshirts so faded that only half the lettering was still visible.

In the end, it was decided that a new dress was in order. After many dirty looks and eye rolls, Serena agreed to the dress that Sam said was simply "fantastic".
