Time did not exist in the Spirit realm. Everything had an ethereal and eerie glow in this place. The silvery gates were high and looked narrow from a distance. There was no day and no night, it just simply was. High above in what could be described as the sky were millions of stars and clouds made of stardust and gases that gleamed and sparkled. There was just about every tint and shade of every hue you could imagine. It was like looking at the perfect exposure of the night sky, or deep space. Low on the horizon the colors were lighter and resembled a sunrise to the east and sunset to the west. There was no sun or moon, just stars in a colorful sky. There was a low blanket of fog on the ground that made it look as though one were walking up in the clouds. It was hard to say what was beneath the fog, it never went away long enough to get a good look, even when one walked by.

There was a new arrival, a rather large, powerful and majestic looking creature. Scales covered its entire body, wisps of smoke desperately clung to its frame as the creature approached the tall gates of the south. It had sharp claws and fierce looking teeth. Eyes so dark it made the shadowy abyss look like heaven. The creature was a dragon king, 300 feet tall, who had met his unfortunate death. Having no heir to take his place, the dragon king was not happy to have met his fate just yet. Who would rule his kingdom' Who could measure up to his legacy' No other dragon could best his fierce rule. With out him the kingdom would fall. As the dragon king stood before the opening gates, he was hesitant to cross the threshold into his afterlife.

Then, there she was, more beautiful than any goddess or angel that ever was. She had long white hair that flowed free and regal like a soft breeze in the spring. Her skin was fair like the clouds after the rain. Eyes a light silvery grey that looked over all who crossed the gates into her domain. The spirit of the Southwind was there to greet him. Here it was that the souls of all animal creatures came to their final rest.

The late king let himself take another form, one more like the woman who stood on the other side of the gates. Long black hair, tanned skin, and those same dark eyes. He was tall even so in this humanoid form at just under seven feet tall. He was a warrior king, and his build reflected that. He crossed the threshold, a stoic expression on the man's face. Silver eyes met his gaze as he walked through. "Welcome." Was all she offered him with a slight nod and smile. Her voice was like a soft chime, light and airy, a whisper of a melody. It was an interesting contrast to the eerie setting. She sounded like an angel, an ethereal spirit; He had no crown here, she was the queen. He was just another soul passing through to the afterlife into her domain, and it was unsettling for him to have to relinquish his power.

One might argue that it was love at first sight for the king. But the king didn't believe in such things. Was a cruel man even capable of such a thing" As he neared her, he felt her strength and power. It was this that stirred the thoughts in his mind. If there was a way, maybe, an heir could come of this. An heir strong like him, an heir perhaps he can reincarnate and return to his kingdom and rule once more. Power, was his weakness. The man finally crossed the threshold and it wasn't long before he and the Southwind Spirit became close and took that friendship to the next level. Some time later, she reviled to him that she was expecting. His plan was working and he was indeed overjoyed. He played his card very well, she was so in-love, and he just could not wait to return to his throne. The day came, but it was not what the king had expected. Instead of a male heir, two females were born. He was displeased and threatened to kill the baby girls. The mother Spirit did what she had to do to protect her offspring. She sent them away to another plane, somewhere, where he could not find them. The twins were sent to a place where dragons no longer existed; a place called Earth.

January 13th, 1981 " Luna and Soleil are sent to the Earth Plane. (Birthdate)

It was a terribly windy winter night. The Southwind spirit took advantage and rode the winds to a place where she thought the girls would be safe. She was in a long white cloak and in her arms she held the girls close for warmth. She came to an old looking stone building with a tall wide entrance. The doors were heavy and made of wood with iron accents. On the side of the stone was a silver placard that read: St. Pancras" Home for Children. The woman scaled the steps and conjured a little basinet from the winds and clouds. She laid the baby girls in it and covered them up in the white blankets. She gave each a kiss and a caress to their cheeks as they slept. A crystal tear dropped onto one of the girls as she left after knocking on the heavy doors.

Moments later, after having heard the doors rattle in the night winds, an older woman came to the doors. She thought to herself who or what could be making such a ruckus at this time of night. It couldn't be the wind, the doors were much to heavy for that. When the woman opened the door she gasped when she saw the basinet and the two babies inside it. The pour dears, had they been out there much longer they might have froze. The woman brought them inside and quickly made a space for them.

As the years went on, their little personalities began to shine through. One was always well behaved, a darling of a girl. The other however, had trouble following direction and seemed to enjoy causing trouble. When they were old enough, the girls were shipped off to a boarding school.

The years went on and as always, little Luna was a handful and her sister Soleil was a sweetheart. "Why can't you just follow directions Luna" Why is it so hard for you to follow the rules?" Her sister asked one day. "Rules are stupid and boring, no fun." She would say. Luna always marched to the beat of her own drum. "You'd be in less trouble if you listened though." A soft sigh from Luna, letting herself drop back into her bed. "I'm tired. I don't want to talk anymore." She said then curled up and went to sleep.

It wasn't until they reached their teens that things began to change. Luna was still reckless as ever, and Soleil just as studious and well behaved. Then, boys started coming into the picture. At least for Soleil as she began to develop gracefully like a blooming flower in the spring. This is when both girls began to change physically and began to look less like twins. While Soleil transformed into a young woman, soft curves and feminine features, Luna retained her androgyny and angular features. She took on sports and became one of the guys. It was often that Luna was mistaken as Soleil's brother, rather than her sister. Luna rolled with it and the name Louis(Lewie) stuck for a while. Her hair was darker and shorter than Soleil's, which was longer and golden brown in waves with blond highlights. Luna's was a darker, chocolate brown and straight.

So much attention was drawn to Soleil because of her beauty, Luna had her hands full acting as "Big brother". "Louis, seriously' Can you just like, take it down a notch and stop scaring all the guys away?" Luna laughed with crossed arms looking at her sister. "I won't take it down a notch, you're my sister and it's my job to protect you from those scumbags. You know they only want one thing right?" Luna would know, she was one of the guys, and the stories she heard, she was not going to let her sister be someone's conquest. "I love you Sol, you're all I got. I don't want to see you hurt alright?" If there was anyone Luna had ever allowed her self to truly love, it was her sister. The bond she shared with her was like no other. A kiss to Sol's forehead and off they went to rest for the night.

That night Soleil stirred in her sleep and the sounds she made woke Luna. She looked over her shoulder to her sister, "Sol?" She whispered. Then she called out to her louder, but she would not wake. They had nightmares just like anyone else did. But their bond was such that the other would wake up to pull the other awake and out of the nightmare. Tonight was different, Soleil wasn't waking. Luna got out of bed and went to her sister, hopefully a little shaking would help. Nothing. Soleil continued to stir and began to mumble. "Stop, let me go, no' were random bit's Luna could pick out. She shook her sister harder and screamed her name but still she would not wake.

She would have never dreamed of striking her sister or anyone who didn't deserve it, but she was desperate. Luna slapped Sol and finally she woke. Only, when her eyes shot open, they were black as night. The look in her sisters eyes terrified her and caused her to draw back. Sol looked at her with a menacing grin. "Ah, at last, my little girls, I have found you." This was not Sol, Luna was quickly at her feet as her sister began to creep out of the bed. There was no moon out tonight, only the stars offered light into their room. Was this a nightmare" Was Luna dreaming" It had to be, she thought, this could not be real!

It was like a scene from one of those exorcist movies. Sol did not look like herself; there was darkness in her eyes Luna had never seen before. Her voice, was indescribable. "Now that I have your attention, we must see which one of you is worthy for my throne." Her sister approached Luna for every step she took back. Soon, she found herself pressed up against the wall with her sister sneering in her face. "Only one of you will rule, and the other, sadly, must perish." The Dragon King hissed in Luna's ear. "Wh"what are, you, talking about' Sol wake up!!" The dragon laughed, "Silly girl, your sister isn't here right now. It's just me." He brushed a hot hand down the side of her face. Luna struggled to free herself, and when she did, it was only because he let her go. Before she could get too far, he reached for her and pulled her back to him. Hand slammed into her chest and golden fire would burst from his palms. Pinned once more, this time to the wall next to their bedroom door. "Let's see what you got girl." He reached into her and she began to glow with a white light. He smiled, releasing her powers. When he pulled his hand out of her chest her eyes were glowing white and she lunged at him.

They fought in the small room for a while. Two girls, both 5"4" and weighing in between 125 and 130, slamming each other into walls, furniture and through the door. Out in the main hall they continued the fight. Fire and ice everywhere. Soleil had no control of what was happening. The dragon had possessed her and was now fighting his daughters, resulting in a fire. The dormitories had to be evacuated. There was so much smoke, she didn't see the last burst of flame coming her way. Then everything went black.

The next time Luna opened her eyes she was in a hospital in the burn trauma unit. She was alone and covered in bandages all along the left side of her face down her left arm. She felt groggy from the pain medication. She groaned and screamed, a nurse soon came running in. "Shhh, you're okay, you're in a hospital. You were in a fire accident. Don't worry, we're going to take care of you. Shhh, relax, you're okay." One eye looked around, she could see she was in a hospital, but where was Soleil" "My sister, Sol, where is she"!" She croaked. The nurse was quiet. "I'm sorry." Was all she said and left the room.

It took some time to sink in. Her sister was gone. The one person she had sworn herself to protect, was gone. She went into a fit of denial and rage. The hospital room was a mess when she was done with it. It looked as though a tornado ran through it. Luna left, the scars would heal as any other third degree burn would. She couldn't look in mirrors, she would smash any she came across. All she could see in them was her scars, and her sister.

She fell into a deep depression and began to play with knives. She would pick fights at school when she returned, but nothing made her feel better. She began to hang with the wrong crowd, the bad kids with record. They played dangerous games. One day, they introduced her to Russian Roulette. She became addicted. The rush she felt with the barrel at her head, and when she pulled the trigger, was magic.

One of the guys began to notice the change in her. Not only her personality, but physically too. She was developing curves in all the right places. And somehow the scars began to fade away. She now had that signature hairdo, left side cut short to the skull, and flipped to the right. It was still dark, hazel eyes too began to change. Now they had blue specks in them near the pupils. He liked what he saw and soon they became a thing. The more intimate they became, the more aggressive he was. They began to fight, each argument tinged with more and more physical outbursts.

One night after classes he came looking for her. When he found her, he was surprised he liked what he saw. Luna and another female student. That night the three of them had a good time. They made an arrangement but soon he became jealous and wanted both all to himself as he pleased. Luna didn't like that idea and so another fight came of that. It escalated quickly, he shoved her into the wall and pressed the barrel of a gun to her temple. "Is that all you got little girl" I should have killed you in that fire when I had the chance." He growled in her ear. That same dark tone that had come from her sister. Luna shuddered then froze. "Yes, that's right, I'm back." She pushed him off and made a run for it. Down the halls and down the stairs she flew.

He followed and opened fire at her. The shots echoed and broke her focus. She cringed and yelped with every shot. He landed a few once they had reached the outside. She fell to the ground, all she knew then was pain. She groaned and began to cry, struggling to get back up before he got to her. He grabbed her and held her down. She cried out and he laughed at her. "Come on little girl, where is your fight!" Are you not the daughter of a dragon' Did I waste my seed on you?" He roared down at her as he hovered over her. "Get. Off. Of. ME!" She blasted him with a burst of energy. She didn't quite have a handle on these things. She had been in many fights, but it had only been that one night she has used any of her power.

She scrambled to her feet trying to ignore the sting of her wounds. He came at her again and they fought more. He shot her a few more times before she managed to disarm him and force him down to the ground. They wrestled a bit, and had it not been for her reaching for his gun and pulling the trigger, she would have died that night under him. A group began to gather after that last shot.

After that she spent time recovering and dealing with murder charges. They were dismissed after it was proven to have been self-defense. After that it was quit the reputation she had. Girls from all over sought her out for help. She became a sort of hit man, a hunter, who took out men who liked to torture and batter their women. A few fathers and brothers were in the mix. But mostly it was partners.

For a long time this was her job, she moved into a cabin in the woods and worked mostly from there her plans of attack. It was even at times a safe haven for some of the girls and women. As the years went on, her eyes grew colder, ice blue, and her hair became lighter and was soon the snow white mane.

One day, while Luna was out on a job, she was plucked and pulled into darkness. When she awoke, she was in the middle of a forest called the Southern Glen. Ever since she was small, she enjoyed being out amongst the natural elements of the world and loved to venture within it. Was this place real" Or had she simply died and gone to heaven" The spots that she happened upon were simply breathtaking. After she fully explored the Glen, she had found herself on the outskirts of Rhy'Din City. Would this place capture the same freedom that she experienced in the Glen? She was about to find out as she took her first step forward.
