Duci

Date: 2013-02-03 14:36 EST
Character Name: Duci Eszti Lovasz, the Original

Race: Robot

Sub-Race: Humanoid Cylon

Gender: Female

Age: 32, as of 2013

Place of Origin: Győzedelem

Profession: Slave to her Master, Anubis.

Physical Description: Golden locks are always pristinely curled and cropped to perfection, but all smiles are reserved solely for her Master's benefit and her dark eyes are always toward the floor. The red silk. customary of a slave of her standing, hugs her form loosely, playing a gentle contrast against her sun-kissed flesh. The hem ends modestly above the knee, allowing long legs to extend into a plain pair of nude, high heel sandals. Free of the physical constraints of beauty, she remains au natural and wears only a simple ivory collar around her neck.

Alignment: Neutral

Strengths: Duci demonstrates physical strength and dexterity such as being exceptionally fast, agile and strong. She has increased stamina and the ability to physically interface with computer systems. Duci also has an ability referred to as "projection", a form of hyper realistic day dreaming which allows her to change the appearance of her surroundings in her own mind (e.g. making the corridors of a ship look like a forest, etc). She has the ability to touch, feel, smell, etc. that fantasy environment. She could even share projections with others and also create third persons that don't exist in the real world as part of the fantasy. This ability serves as a fantasy expression of her subconscious desires or emotional life.

There was some sort of misfire when she was created, and thus enables her to be overcome with the emotions of those around her.

Weaknesses: Trauma which would cause severe injury or death in a human can be expected to do the same to a Cylon, like Duci. In particular, her skin appears just as vulnerable to breaking as human skin, with the resulting injury bleeding just as a comparable wound would in a human. She is highly susceptible to an ancient virus which can be transmitted by rodents, but which humans have developed an immunity to, lymphocytic encephalitis. Additionally, the silica pathways of humanoid Cylons are affected by certain forms of radiation. Afterall, she is only human, to an extent.

Equipment: Gentle dispostition and good looks.

History: Duci was born on the 28th day of July and grew up in a loving household in Győzedelem before the war began. She had three older brothers, Andras, Elek and Laszlo. She was a bright little girl and incredibly advanced for her age. Despite her intellect, that did not save her from being her older brother's favorite punching bag?in their defense it was to help prepare her for worse. Indeed she is well versed in fists. She graduated top of her class as valedictorian four grade levels ahead of what she should have been. Afterwards, she went to the Triumph Air Academy as a major in linguistics and foreign affairs, and minor in law. Because of her superior marks in the academy, she was ranked as a Lieutenant straight out of school.

Life as a part of the fleet was difficult because she was one of the few female pilots, and she was hands down the best pilot the fleet had seen in decades. But much like the other guys, she gambled, boozed it up and cursed like a sea sailor. She was promoted to Captain after a year, and then to Major after another. The next year, she was doing a security check on the perimeter of the spaceship U.S.S. Pegasus when something hit her Viper and she got knocked out. Her Viper fell into a storm system, and others reported that they saw her Viper explode, she only remembers spiraling into blackness.

What really happened was that a Cylon Raider had hit her and taken her hostage, and then her Viper exploded. She was just another human taken into the custody of the Cylon force to be poked, prodded and tested for a variety of things. Apparently the Cylon's liked something that they saw in her, and downloaded every aspect of her into their system to create a humanoid Cylon that looked, talked, acted, smelled, knew, and essentially, was her. She has no recollection of this procedure, and is unaware that she is not human. All of the prior knowledge she gained, every moment of her life is exactly remembered as it had been when she was human. She was a project to test fear in the humanoid Cylon models, because it was one of the emotions they were devoid of. Lucky her. She was returned her to her fleet in a Viper just like hers. Her welcoming wasn't pleasant, and she was consequently locked up in the brig for hours of interrogation that got no one anywhere.

Finally she was released from the torture and interrogation, her crewmembers reasonably convinced that she was not a Cylon. They stripped her pilot privileges away, and banned her from the cockpit. She wasn't entirely ungrateful for that, because she really didn't want to relive anything that just happened. Instead they turned her into the legal adviser for the President, her college background finally being put to use. It took a long time to earn back the trust of her crewmembers and squad, and it was a difficult transition from the brutalities of the cockpit to the formalities of the political arena.

When they landed a year later on Earth for a Space Diplomacy event, she crossed paths with a multi-billionaire named Alper Ergin II. While he didn't ask anything about her, their conversation ended with him offering her a job as his personal assistant. She wasn't sure if she seemed just that miserable, but she accepted his offer without any second looks back.

Approximately two years after arriving in Rhy'din, she was forced into an ivory collar by none other than Anubis.

Nature: Since being beneath Anubis watchful eye, she's become very withdrawn and quiet. Still unable to completely conform to the standards she should be following, she's not quite as docile as she should be.

Ducii

Date: 2013-02-03 15:12 EST
Character Name: Duci Eszti Lovasz, the Replacement

Race: Robot

Sub-Race: Humanoid Cylon

Gender: Female

Age: 32, as of 2013

Place of Origin: Győzedelem

Profession: Used to be a fighter pilot for the Federation, then demoted to a legal adviser to the President, now just a PA and occasional substitute teacher with an affinity for shopping too much.

Physical Description: Golden spun curls spill down her back like a waterfall, a clear distinction between herself and the previous model. Dark, umber eyes are alive with mischief and mirth, and her lips coiled into a Cheshire smile. She's full of laughs and style; not one outfit finds her skin more than once, and she tends to donate her leftovers.

Alignment: Neutral

She came in where the original Duci left off, and has no recollection of not being the original It was a rude awakening when she realized she wasn't the original, and she has been struggling to come to terms with the fact that she's a Cylon, the one thing she has spent her entire life trying to eradicate.

Nature: Duci just wants to have fun. She's a lot deeper than she appears on the surface, but she likes to keep things close to her chest. Easy going, friendly and inclusive; she'll make sure the party keeps going.

Johnny Storm

Date: 2013-02-06 19:12 EST
Character Name: Johnny Storm

Johnny and Liv have moved out of Apt. 303 and now live at Maple Grove. Since Jonathan Granger owns the condo that Johnny and Liv were living in, he will maintain ownership for the time being. It is currently being sublet to an unnamed tenant. More info about that will be forthcoming at a later date.

Olivia Storm

Date: 2013-02-07 13:00 EST
Previous Tenant

Character Name: Olivia Melisande Storm, nee Broderick(Stark)

Race: Human

Sub-Race: None

Gender: Female

Age: 25, as of 2012

Place of Origin: York, England

Profession: Personal Assistant to Jonathan Granger

Physical Description: An almost perfect carbon copy of her twin sister, Liv stands at about 5'4", weighing in at 112 lbs, with long chestnut brown hair and eyes to match. She's not the most active of people - not consciously, anyway - and her figure backs up that statement, slender and soft, rather than toned. Her hair is more often than not tied back off her face while she's working, but at work and at play, she favors a more feminine style of fashion, preferring skirts and dresses, and almost always wearing heels to boost her height.

Alignment: Good

Strengths: As a simple, unadorned human, Liv's strengths are much the same as any other human's, though enhanced with skill and experience in places. She's an excellent organizer, which is perfect for her job, owns an eidetic memory, and somehow finds it relatively easy to befriend people. She also has a capacity to love that is somehow bigger than herself. And she has Johnny Storm.

Weaknesses: Cripplingly shy around strangers and incredibly nervous in a crowd, Liv has a tendency to be vulnerable to harsh words. Like other humans, she has no special power, and is as vulnerable as anyone to the myriad of disasters that can befall a gal on Rhy'Din.

Equipment: Nothing specific to her, unless you count her cell phone, without which she would simultaneously be a lot more stressed and a lot more relaxed.

History: Until recently, Liv's origins have been a mystery even to herself. She and her twin sister were left at Catholic church in York when they were a few days old, and since all attempts to trace family were inconclusive, spent their childhood and adolescence in foster care. The assumption has always been that her birth-date falls on the 1st May, 1987. She was not the best-looking child or teenager, possessed of big glasses, buck teeth, and running to fat, only beginning to form into her now natural looks when she entered college and subsequently university.

Gifted academically, she developed an interest in media and all its forms, choosing to take a Cultural and Media Studies degree at UCL, London, which unfortunately left her with very little in the way of job prospects. However, a helpful reference from the thirteenth employer to reject her led her to Rhy'Din and the newly formed 21twelve Studios, where she gained employment as an assistant director - a glorified errand runner. She came to the attention of Ms Lelah Rivka, and was soon promoted to Ms Rivka's personal assistant, discovering a talent for organization. However, when 21twelve folded, she again found herself unemployed, and took a variety of part time jobs to keep the money coming in. Sometime after this, she was approached by Jonathan Granger and offered the job of his personal assistant, complete with living quarters at L?ks Condos, Apt. 303.

Married to Johnny Storm on the 2nd of March, 2013, she has also very recently become aware of her birth parents' identities, and the tragic circumstances that led to the twins being given up for foster care in the first place.

Nature: On the surface, Liv appears to be very shy, almost painfully so, never at home in a crowd even if she is among friends. She has a deep lack of self-confidence, a sad consequence of feeling keenly unwanted from early childhood, though she often strives to pretend this is not so. She is more likely to hurt herself with silence than speak out and possibly cause hurt to someone else. However, she does display confidence in her working abilities, and even pride in being good at what she does. Her affiliation with Johnny Storm is helping her to overcome some of these natural inconsistencies, and though it will take time, she is beginning to show signs of coming into her own. She would dearly love to start a family of her own, and is secretly terrified that it will never happen, a feeling deepened by her sister's fast marriage and pregnancy in recent months. Johnny is clearly the center of her world, and though she knows he will never intentionally hurt her, some part of her is still waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Elena

Date: 2013-10-05 23:06 EST
Character Name: Elena Donnelly

Race: Human

Sub-Race: None

Gender: Female

Age: 24, as of 2013

Place of Origin: Brooklyn, New York City, Earth

Profession: Former actress, currently unemployed

Physical Description: Only just topping 5'3", weighing in at a respectable 118lbs, Elena stands out in her very Italian-American family. Possessed of golden blonde hair and green eyes, she is slender but not unnaturally so, more toned than skinny these days. She can dress herself up to suit pretty much any occasion, but when at home, more often than not can be found barefoot in shorts and a tank, no matter the season.

Alignment: Good

Strengths: Stubborn to a fault, Elena has a natural empathy - suppressed for a long time - which is now making itself known once again. She is acutely aware of her own faults, and somehow despite that, she is the proud owner of a heart that finds it much easier to love than to hate. As of September 2013, she is twelve months clean, after a struggle with alcoholism that began in her teens.

Weaknesses: Stubborn to a fault! With no special powers, Elena is as vulnerable as any human, but her greatest weaknesses (and strengths) are her love for Michael Donnelly, and her love for her family, in that order.

Equipment: Girl next door good looks, a killer smile, and tastebuds that can spot the problem in an entire dish with just one taste.

History: Born on July 13th, 1989, to Rosita De Luca and George Bianchi, the youngest of four children in a family that seemed pretty much destined for show-business, Elena showed an early predisposition for acting, often roping her older brother and sisters into putting on shows for their parents that were occasionally recognizable as something famous. She showed promise in first school and elementary, taking part in productions and often winning the lead roles on pure talent alone. Particularly close to her father, she was devastated when, on her tenth birthday, he abandoned his family, and from that point on, she became something of a rebel in her own home.

From the age of seven, she was a lead in the prime time TV show on Earth that made her and her sisters famous, Little Witches, growing up on screen well into her teens. When, in 2004, Little Witches hung up its broomstick for the last time, the teenaged Elena was quickly picked up for a spin-off revolving around her character, Spellbound, settling into life as a teen star a little too easily for her mother's liking. She quickly grew addicted to the lifestyle she shouldn't have been pursuing, developing a far more dangerous addiction to alcohol that was to haunt her for nearly a decade. From TV shows to movies, she racked up an impressive body of work, but her greatest achievement by far was her work on the film adaptation of a best-selling novel called Boston Nights, by then little-known author Michael Donnelly.

As she entered her twenties, Elena's struggle with alcoholism became well known to the press and public at large, fueled by her often appalling choices in boyfriends and her misbehavior in public places. She became something of an embarrassment to her family who, despite putting on a brave face for the press, began to distance themselves from her. At the age of 22, she met Samuel Nicoletti, son of known mobster Marcus Nicoletti, and embarked on a relationship that would change her life.

In September 2012, she was witness to a murder at the hands of her then-boyfriend, Sam Nicoletti. This gave her the jolt she needed to get out of the rut she had fallen into, giving evidence to the New York police and promising her testimony, forced to confront her demons head on and prevail if she was to stand any chance of giving a coherent testimony in court. She was moved to Rhy'Din under the protective custody of her sister, Mataya, and has since been clean, though it hasn't been without its bumps in the road. Over the course of 2013, she renewed her brief liaison with Michael Donnelly, and in August 2013, after the court case that saw Sam Nicoletti jailed for life and his father dead of natural causes, they became engaged to be married, sealing the deal on the 15th of October, 2013.

In the process of healing her relationship with her family, Elena is now decided that acting isn't for her, and is searching for something else to fill her days, which will no doubt explain the often mouth-watering smells emanating from Apartment 315.

Nature: A bubbly personality at heart, Elena is rarely without the kilowatt De Luca smile, prone to focus on the good rather than the bad. On the face of things, she is rather happy-go-lucky, obviously deeply in love with her fiance, and proud of her family and their individual achievements. Deep down, however, Elena knows herself for what she is, tending to focus on the negative side of her own nature if she falls into such deep thought. She purposely holds onto the guilt she feels for the deaths she failed to prevent when she was tied to Sam Nicoletti, slowly maturing into a young woman, rather than the overgrown teenager she has been for the last five years.
