Eris layed on her bed looking over her current apartment with a disatisfied groan. Her idea to live like the mortals was all fine and dandy but she'd slummed it long enough. Not all mortals live in matchboxes. Hell, she had her own temple! Wasn't as big as Athena's. You kow what they say..size doesn't matter. In this case, the place wasn't much to write home about. One room with no view. After seeing the flyers advertising condo living, Eris had to admit, she deserved better. Not that more room was really needed. Still, it'd be nice to have a spot for a pool table. Maybe a dart board. Her own bar. Dance floor with a stripper pole..gotta have the pole. Let's face it, a girl needs space to stretch out.
"Whatcha thinking bout?"
Oh yeah, there's another reason she wanted to move.
"That you need to stop popping in unannounced Eros. This is not your home. When I move, you aren't invited."
He looked truly hurt by her words. Clutching his heart. Slowly spiralling in a circle down to the ground to crash in a fluff of feathers. "You wound me."
"No, I'd used a knife for that. I hope these condos have really good security systems. The kind that keep out crazy, flying irritants that appear out of nowhere."
"Oh you mean like..mosquitos."
"No. I'm thinking something bigger."
"Vultures?"
"Youre warmer."
"I know you can't mean me!" Whining defensively as more feathers littered the once clean floor.
She smirked, looking at the paper again. Replying flatly. "Yes, I'm evil for wanting privacy in my own home."
"No, you're evil because you're Eris. The privacy thing is just a quirk that you need to get over. No one in the Pantheon gets privacy!" He gathered from the 'Go to hell' look on her face that maybe she did need some alone time. And she would get it even if that meant killing him. "Be sure to give me your forwarding address." In a flash he was gone.
Eris showered, dressed and headed down to the address on the poster. The outside was impressive enough. But it was inside that counts. Walking on up to the office in hopes of getting a chance to tour what was available.
