"Wow."

She breathed in a sigh at the opulence of it all. The elegant Doctor that was looking for a place would most assuredly find residence here to his standards. She just hoped his assistant could afford one of the smaller condos.

The commission she expected to make from the sale should be enough to figure into a possible down payment on that property she had her eye on.

With the wealth that floated around RhyDin it surely shouldn't be hard to find a few more occupants for this place and all with a tidy little profit to be had for her brokerage.

The impish grin revealed dimples as she took a few flyers with her to her next stop. Time to get the word out.

((Hope this is okay, I plan to use this as a stepping post to "sell" Condos as we discussed))

Southern.

She dripped magnolia blossoms from her sighs and carried with her the honey molasses of sweet tea in her tone. Her sweet smile brought memories of juniper tea and her scent was one of gardenias and jasmine.

Pink was her favored color and her favorite animal was a unicorn. She read poetry and gingerly cried at movies. Fresh flowers were delivered daily to her office and her home. Jewelry forever adorned her and every outfit she owned matched right down to her silky underthings. She had never left her home without her "face on" and her "hair done" and would rather faint than admit to having ever had "an upset stomach."

Her favorite memories were hazed in dappled sunlight and blurred with the slow passage of time. While she never seemed to move at more than a gentle pace, she was ruthlessly efficient and rigidly organized.

She arrived at the showing precisely ten minutes early and allowed herself a softly sweet smile at the sight of the place. This would most assuredly do. Euriya was meant for Luks Condos...or Luks Condo's were meant for Euriya.

Her Blackberry (a cranberry edition, the vivid dark red sheathed in a matching accessory case to her chosen dress for the day), gave a perfunctory vibrating buzz (no chime as the sound might be rudely interrupting) to assure her that it had sent the reminder to Dr. Shilo as instructed.

If this was Ms. Shantalaine's version of a successful residential showing, Dusky could hardly wait to see the commercial property that would hopefully meet Euriya's exacting standards. Regular clientele would be much easier to keep once they were firmly established here.

"Allan." He said as he stepped through the door, the small bluetooth nestled into his ear alight with a crystalline blue glow. "I want you to calm down and take your medication as prescribed."

The casual attire he wore denounced his normally professional motif, an air of casualness exuding with his every step. The sleek button down shirt was a flat-black with the sleeves rolled half-way up his forearm and the top two buttons unhinged - each of them revealing a gilded adornment: a glimmering Rolex around his wrist and a thin necklace wreathing his throat.

"Then you need to go and get it refilled. Immediately." The tinted frames of his glasses began to clear, adjusting to the lack of sunlight at being indoors of their own accord. "I see. Well, here is what I want you to do. Go to the pharmacy in the West End at the corner of Dagger and Riverview and tell the pharmacist you are with Dr. Shilo. He'll know who you are and will have a prescription ready- I know, Allan. I'm going to pay for it...Yes I'm sure. I need you to this right now: go and wait until it is ready. Do you understand?"

He approached Dusky, one hand gentlemanly sliding around her waist to rest lightly upon the small of her back, the touch of his lips finding her cheek in cultured greeting. In his eyes she would be able to see the shimmering radiance of frustration born from dealing with Allan St. Clair and the laziness he entailed. "Of course, Allan. Go and wait at the Pharmacy until they call your name. Promise me." He paused for a moment and then more sternly reiterated. "Promise me, Allan." Another pause. "Very good. I'll see you soon."

The click of the earpiece darkened its glow, and with it exited his irritation. He stepped away from Dusky, though just a single stride so that they didn't touch but were certainly together. His chocolate gaze then shifted to the realtor, where a warm and pleasant smile graced handsome features as his hand extended in a convivial gesture.

"Dr. Euriya Shilo. I'm assuming you've already met my personal assistant, Miss Beaumont?" The smile remained as his eyes took a quick survey of the room they occupied. "So far it is breathtaking, and I must admit I am anxious to see more."

Wow. She was fairly certain that the porcelain doll and her companion were too pretty to exist.

"uhh. Hi." Swallow.

Breathe. "Uh right. Miss Beaumont. I'm Miss Shantalaine, but ye can just all me Fiora." The tension easing as she launched into her speel, "This place is absolutely fabulous but only for the crazy rich. Ye've got to be rollin in it to be livin in it, yea?"

A glance back at the couple as she led them on the tour with the key card entrusted in her care by Xenia. She had no idea how to actually use the device and with all the sweetness of a good hostess at a luncheon she motioned them before her and handed over the small sliver of plastic. "Here, feel free to take a look."

Keeping a very close eye on how they went about her instucted welcome so that she could open the door for herself next time.

The rooms were exquisite.

The architecture was outstanding.

The keycard slid easily through the pad decoratively set at each door, and one by one he made his way through the condo, keeping Dusky close to bounce ideas off of as to what room would be what and what would go where. He knew she would be eager to offer her opinion, and made sure that when she spoke he paid special attention, if for nothing else than to boost her own self-worth. Dusky liked to please him, and he tried as often as he could remember to make her feel like her efforts were appreciated.

He finished the tour on the balcony, taking a moment to sweep his line of sight across the elevated view of Rhy'din before checking the vibrating Blackberry on his hip.

Allan had received his prescription and was on his way home.

With a simple turn Euriya brought Dusky and Fiora back into view. "It's incredible. I wanted something big and elegant and it looks like you've done your part, Miss Shantalaine." He adjusted his glasses as he turned his head to again take in the breathtaking panorama.

"I'll take it."

As they made their way onto the balcony she paused behind them, running through a whole host of important details. Sucking in a deep breath she prepared to launch into her explanation when the good doctor spoke...and ended his commentary with, "I'll take it."

She was a proper business woman. She'd even invested in a pair of glasses though her sight was a great deal better without them on, she thought they made her look kind of prim and proper. Respectable. Playing the role of the upright, formal and ever efficient worker bee was usually easy enough but then sometimes small things like this happened and dollar signs flashed in your eyes and the world spun beneath your feet as you listened to the sweet sound of KACHING! echo across your conscious.

"YES! YEA BAYBAY! WHO'S THE MAN!?" She spun about, fist pumping as she celebrated, "I AM! I AM! FIORA! THAT'S WHO! FIORA IN THE HOWW-OWWWSSEEE!"

Blink. The last spin had put her back to them. She took a deep breath and slowly turned around, flushed a bright crimson as she gingerly held out her previously fist pumping little hand.

Clearing her throat, she demurely stated, "That is wonderful news, Dr. Shilo. Allow me to get you that paperwork."

The jubilation that erupted from behind him drew his attention, and with a half turn he brought the realtor into view. The slim arch of his brow and upward curl of his lips greeted Fiora with an offering of mirth and appreciation, a simple and easy gesture that expressed a sense of praise at her triumph.

He watched her long enough to witness the sight of embarrassment that touched her cheeks before looking away, his attention given to Dusky instead. Awkwardness was only amplified by spectators. "Ms. Beaumont, if you would be so kind, please get in touch with the moving company and arrange for my belongings to be transported here. I'll map out the rooms and have then organized by tomorrow." There was a pause as he contemplated a thought. "Let's plan on having one of these second floor rooms be a satellite office for you. There is no doubt that with a home as luxurious as this I'll want to work out of it sometimes."

He smiled at her and turned to face Fiora, though not before letting a secretive wink slip out.

As he spoke his hand plunged into his pocket and drew from it the vibrating form of his Blackberry. "I'll need some time to go over the details of the paper work. Just go ahead and bring them to dinner tonight. Probably aroun-" He paused for a moment as he read over the words formed of crystalline illuminants on the screen, thumbs typing away briefly before returning his full attention to her. "-around eightish' I'm thinking we'll take in a show at the Rhydin Theater and Opera house before dinner" Let's play it by ear, but dress formal just in case."

This time she was the recipient of his smile before he started away, bringing the phone up to his ear and sliding his hand over the mouthpiece for a moment as he passed by Dusky. "Do me a favor and have a car sent to pick up Miss Shantalaine around eight, please?" Another flash, and off he went, greeting whoever was on the phone as he stepped outside.

Booked.

Totally. Just penciled into someone's schedule just like that. But, hey, really was that so bad" To be completely railroaded like that' She shot a look to Miss Beaumont to gauge her reaction and it was business as usual. Yep, Dr. Shilo was a forthright, demanding, control freak. She wondered idly if he ever diagnosed himself.

But hey, dinner" a show" a good lookin man' She had made a promise to herself to get laid recenly. But was this business" or pleasure?

She needed girlfriends to figure this thing out. Oh wait! She had girlfriends now! Riley, Marilyn, Mindy - neighbors galore!

She settled arrangements with the woman who seemed attached to the little mini computer in her palm. Sex might not be on the agenda, but celebrating definitely was.

Her first Luks Condo deal had been Sweet. Two condos, just like that! Zen Gardens was brimming at the seams. She'd sold two estates recently! Now if this run of luck would just continue to see her through her Plaza.

Grinning like a loon she skipped out of the fancy digs and zipped through the streeets of RhyDin. She couldn't help but stop by the building she wanted to claim as the Plaza. A jaunt through the Marketplace to skim the wares and to hear the social chattering of the strange assortment of folk that could be found. As the West End approached she felt a sense of homecoming. It might be dark, it might be a little dismal, and definitely strangely disconcerting, but as the Zen Gardens appeared she flashed a dimpled grin at the group of misfits she passed.

RhyDin was finally starting to feel like home.

She looked into the available rooms for Jatari as promised and was pleased to notice a vacancy.

She wanted to surprise her new friend and set to work immediately.

Having a drunk Desaid lead a tipsy and blindfolded Jatari around the city of RhyDin had been one helluva good time.

But even it was trumped by the adorably thrilled reaction of her newfound friend at the new condo.

They'd celebrated well into the night and her last conscious thought had been how even the ceilings were pretty in this joint.

Of course, waking up to discover that she was suffering from that headache that only champagne seems able to give you was totally worth it. Realizing she was late to work had her gulping back the rising tide of nausea as she sprinted out the door leaving without so much as a farewell.

She'd finally signed another business partner at the Plaza and had promised to be there bright and early to give her a walkthrough of the vault.

The thought ocurred to her that she had not only signed a new lease at the Luks Condos, but at the Plaza, and had one in the works for the Gardens as well. The Trifecta had her grinning!

If she really pulled this off she was going to splurge on something big, something special, something the likes of which had never been seen!

Racing through the streets of RhyDin she let loose a war whoop and flipped through a series of handsprings and layouts, hangover totally forgotten.

She hustled through the front door of Luks Condos with a determined grin upon her features. She had an agenda and she was ready to see it through to its end.

First. She was dropping of a surprise for Dr. Euriya Shilo. He wasn't the only one who could be tricky.

Second. She was stopping by Dusky's. Ostensibly to ask her to join the Date Auction but really she needed some girl talk. She'd flirted pretty heavily with Euriya and had even engaged in some seriously deep petting. The man was hot. Undoubtedly. But he was also strangely distant. And more importantly she was fairly certain that Dusky was not over him. What kind of friend would she be if she continued down that path knowing it and what did it say that she found herself conflicted over whether or not the path was the one she wanted to take in the first place" A cajun drawl teased her memories and she shivered. She was dating. It wasn't like she was beholden to anybody, a free bird, she could see dozens of handsome Rhydinians and not feel a lick of guilt...as long as one of her best friends wasn't secretly hating her guts for it.

Third. She was stopping by Jatari's Condo. Well, again about the Gala, but more importantly she needed some girly advice. And, of course, because the guilt of their separation was kind of eating at her. After she'd awakened in the dreaded Room 16 she had kind of avoided Jatari. She had no idea that the pink haired little minx was so close to the crowd she avoided and it had unnerved her to discover that she and Draxcilian were lovers. ..Drax..well there was another huge kink in her mindset. A brief flash of memory at her first and only lover. What did it say about her that she just hoped like hell he'd gone back home" He was regret with a capital R and her friendship with Jatari had altered drastically when she realized the proximity that it put her in.

Fourth. Less girl drama. Finally. Time to meet with Mr. Ergin about represenation in the Gala and ideas for promoting the Condos. She was thinking a First Month's Free kind of deal, or maybe even a one week's stay in one of the furnished condos, a vacation. She grinned at the thought. This place oozed luxury and just being inside its doors made her feel gilded and important.

Looked like it was shaping up to be a busy afternoon.

(Hugs to you all! Please feel free to answer the interaction here or take it up in another thread, I will FinD YoU mY PrEttIeS!)

It had been far too long since she'd shown a client to the Luks Condos and as she and the undoubtedly privileged young lady made their way through the exquisite door, the little realtor smiled happily at the doorman.

"So, as ye can see, security is not a problem..."

A flicker of a frown marred Fiora's normally flawless presentation as she caught sight of something out of the corner of her eye. She shrugged off the shiver as closer examination revealed nothing....again. Injecting a little more enthusiasm in her voice she cheerfully continued as if nothing had happened.

"No one does luxury like Luks, come let me show ye."

As they traipsed up the elaborate stairwell, Fiora couldn't resist sending a sweeping glance behind her; she just couldn't shake the feeling that she was being followed.

She'd just wrapped up another looksie loo and was feeling a trifle put out when she decided to sit for a minute in the gorgeous atrium and listen to the sparkling fountains as she went through her mail.

Darnit, she was getting a lot better at noticing which potential clients weren't really interested in a place and she couldn't help but feel alittle bitter when she took time out to show a space for those noncommittal kinds. Of course, there was no real loss when one spent time at Luks Condos. The place was gorgeous and its new artwork only added to the appeal.

Her discard pile was growing as the various junk mail advertisements made their way inside it. She'd gotten better about not thumbing through them all as too often she found herself convinced she couldn't live without the newest gadget; for example, Gnome Repellant that doubles as a Lively Perfume (that one had really stunk).

The notice from the Governor drew a startled gasp. "Oh dear, emergency meeting?"

She'd had to miss the last regular meeting so this would feel like a make up! Hopping up she gathered up her mail and headed for the Plaza, looked like she had other plans this evening than hanging out with the girlfriends. She'd have to let Jatari and Dusky know.

Maybe Euriya would be free for the meeting. Her dimples deepened at the thought.

With the meeting with Ander still in mind she was in a gleeful state (so strange on her, right?) when she bounced up the glorious steps of the Condos.

It was 3:55 and she was right on time for a meeting with the elusive and undeniably fascinating Jonathan Granger. Dipping past the doorman she considered the suite she'd planned on showing him. She was going to go for the creme de la creme and then she'd show him a smaller condo after the fact. She had a feeling Jonathan Granger was going to like both the luxury and the privacy this place had to offer. Not to mention all the amenities and the views offered by the elite of RhyDin making their way through the exquistely appointed locale.

She always thought this would be the perfect fit for the Actor, now it was time to see if she was right.

Priding himself on his punctuality, Jon arrived promptly at four o'clock, give or take a minute or two. He had originally chosen Zen Gardens due to its close proximity to the Shanachie, but given the fact that he owned a car, it wasn't really much of an issue, and he no longer felt comfortable living in the place he'd once shared with Correy.

Fiora had suggested Luks Condos to him once before, but that was before the shooting, before his memory had been shot through with holes like a slice of Swiss Cheese.

Jon parked the car in front of the building and stepped out, clad in a dark blue suit, his hair combed neatly back and away from his forehead, a light beard shading his face, which made him look older than his twenty-five years.

He handed the car keys over to an attendant, trusting him to park his beloved Bentley, a friendly smile offered to the doorman before stepping inside to meet Fiora in the lobby.
