The holiday season and beginning of a new year are generally busy times for everyone. No matter the religious affiliation or lack there of I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. May your pleasures be many, your troubles be few, and may your new year be filled with good things.

I am behind on a number of projects, both online and at home, and hope to be using the colder winter months of January and February to get caught up.

There are some stories, etc. that I volunteered to help with or brainstormed on with other players. If I have forgotten something that involves your characters, please PM me. I don't like dropping the ball on people.

I have some Sims builds in progress for RP projects. If I haven't been in touch with you since the end of November about a promised project, please post to the thread or leave me a PM as a reminder. Unless otherwise specified, these models are considered to have been designed/built/etc somewhere in the world of Rhydin by the IC firm of Harker and Hall Architecture Ltd. H&H is the creation of the player behind Dennis Harker, who has kindly granted me permission to use H&H for this purpose.

This has been a year of year of mixed blessings: Our dog was declared cancer free at his one year check up. My elderly parents are in reasonably good health after several set backs. We said goodbye to a beloved pet. My father-in-law, who had slowly fading with the effects of Alzheimer's, passed away in November. I found myself being one of those people that they could find symptoms of illness, but not put a name on it until a few months ago. I have a form of arthritis that was being masked by other health problems. The whole thing reminded me of an episode of "Golden Girls" where Dorothy is tired, etc. all the time and at least one doctor blew her off saying it was just from getting old. She was thrilled to learn she wasn't just going crazy.

Here's to 2015, may it bring us all peace and happiness.

Due to a few unforeseen issues, I am quite behind on writing as well as other projects and hope that will be changing in the next few weeks.

I'm currently working on getting the details together for the Citizen's Day Carnival Event which is presently set for the evening of Sunday, 11 September 2016.

I'd like to welcome Jacen's player back to the fold after his long absence.

Some IC catch up, vapored play, mostly, but I just haven't been up for writing, I still have a few days in the year to get things written for some of these:

Colleen, Abby, and Madison Fenner are not in Rhydin and haven't been since just after the gubernatorial election.

Anyone that has characters that might have attended Collie's annual Christmas Eve dinner, it went on as scheduled, but hosted by the Harker family.

Holiday Open House At New Haven Manor It can be safely assumed that both Rhiannons and their families attended this event.

The same families would also be in attendance at the Shanachie Winterfest Party.

Maggie, along with her mother, made their annual holiday visit to the pediatric ward at Riverview Clinic.

Trying to get back into the swing of writing again. Been digging through some of my older pieces that I don't think were posted here. Might add a few of them and see if anything new percolates.
