She was seeing less and less of him. She knew for Winterfest there was a reason but she was concerned. But she had saw him, briefly, and he looked like he had plenty on his mind. She just hoped that during Christmas he would take some time for himself to relax. She could hope. She would hope..

A small box was placed outside his door, a little request to Diana to tell Edward he had a package so he would receive it. She probably should of knocked but she didn't want to bother him.

She did miss him though.

Smiling meekly at the box she turned and scampered off.

Inside the box Edward would find two things:

An opalescent moonstone talon dangling upon a twisted silver chain. Above the talon clenched a small, nail sized crest of a decorated crescent moon. Pressed into obsidian and carefully detailed with silver, the crescent moon had been carefully detailed and upon closer observation one could see a lot of time and love went into crafting the item.

And a note that read:

It is hard to figure out a gift for someone who can and/or has everything at their whim. But in the end I realized that while you can have everything it doesn't mean you have everything.

I made this for you, Edward, in hopes that it will remind you that you aren't alone and that you will always have someone watching your back. You do not have to wear it but please keep it. It would do me great honor.

I thank you for everything you've done for me and being there for me. I am thankful for you as a big brother and as a friend.

I hope you have a great holiday and that you come out of hiding to see me soon. I miss you!
