Ammy Spiritor

Ammy was happy to make a small outing to the Grand Opening of the Emergency Shelter for the Old Temple District Fire Station #3. She'd been intrigued and genuinely impressed with the plans as the SDF worked close with Mr. Storm and his associates to provide anything they requested. Now she got to see first hand what being helpful in the community would look like.

She arrived to the Grand Opening with no flair or attention getting. Just a red headed Lupinossai in gray jeans and charcoal gray shirt with the Alchemist's Fire logo on it. She was escorted by her two youngest children, Ruby and Alexander. How can you say no to a seven year old boy and a near two and a half year old girl when they heard mother was going to a place with food and a chance to see some cool people. Both children were human, something that may have snapped a bit of look towards Ammy if she noticed, though Ruby had some similarities to Ammy even if dilute. Alexander, had no resemblance at all. Both of her kids were dressed in jeans and Iron Man red and gold t-shirts, following in their mothers like for technology though Alexander had a washable Human Torch tattoo on his forehead.

Ammy spent most of the outing enjoying several tours when they were given of the Emergency Shelter which entailed answering questions from both Alexander and Ruby about every little piece and bolt they saw. Ammy did her best to help deflect most of the barrage from her kids to spare the tour guides, though with Ruby it was a lot a quite talk with hands and Ammy and Ruby signed with hands back and forth rapidly, Alexander trying to watch and keep up. Somewhere amid the tours, they all got to enjoy hot dogs to fuel the kids up for all the hyper active attention they unleashed anytime they spotted the Human Torch, Ironman, Captain America or Black Widow.

When it was time to head home, Ammy wasn't sure who was more tired, the kids, one held in each arm hugging around her neck asleep, or herself. She was truly happy her foundation was around to help lend a hand and from everything she saw, she had no doubts or regrets. With a tired smile on her muzzle, Ammy slid from the scene just as she'd slid in, taking her tired kiddos home for a nap as she got her second wind for more work to come.

Natasha Romanoff

Trust Tony Stark to make an entrance.

After making an enormous fuss about jumping dimensions to make a publicity appearance in the first place - and then folding like a wet handkerchief the second Liv joined the conversation - he'd been working up to this, waiting until the perfect moment to reveal himself to the hyperactive crowd. He'd heard that there was someone in Rhy'Din who fancied himself as something of an Ironman facsimile, too. So of course he couldn't just walk in with Steve and Natasha, and of course he refused to make his entrance with Johnny. Oh, no, he was going to make an entrance of his own, and milk every last second of it.

Natasha was far less ostentatious, and far less recognizable. Still that didn't mean that she wasn't in demand - a quieter, dark heroine who didn't have any enhancements, biological or technological, and still managed to hold her own on a team that made the most of their personal advantages. Thanks to the presence of Steve and Johnny's children, she wasn't the unapproachable sight she might have been, happy to talk to hopeful little people about the lighter side of her life on Earth, and teach a few non-lethal self-defense moves to anyone who asked. She even managed to put Steve on his back at one point, proving to certain nay-sayers in the throng that size and strength don't count for much against technique and agility.

It wasn't until mid-afternoon that the sonic boom of something moving at top speed through the sky rattled the windows, drawing all eyes upward to where Ironman himself was descending, looping the loop and putting on a fine display of technological bravado before landing with a crash that cracked the paving stones to the applause that rang out around him. Off came the face-plate of his mask, and he fell to posing for photographs and taking the children of various concerned parents for brief flights around the city. And somewhere in the middle of all that, he announced that Stark Industries would be providing funding to keep the Old Temple Emergency Shelter open at all times, regardless of city catastrophes, adding an apology for cracking the paving stones and adding that repair to his list as well.

Natasha watched all this from beside the hot dog stand, smirking in amusement. Trust Tony Stark to make an entrance.
