An address by Caroline Granger, CEO of GrangerGuild Conglomerate, has been printed in many newspapers and magazines, as well as broadcast on radio and television.
"As you are all aware, there has been a spike in violence across the city in recent months, mostly centered around the protests. It has become increasingly obvious that a small percentage of these protesters, and those who come into contact with them, consider these encounters an excuse to propagate violence for its own ends. These encounters have endangered not only those who choose to engage in them, but innocents who have no wish to be involved, including our children. As Johnny Storm noted, those who propagate this violence are in the minority, and we owe it not only to ourselves, but to our children to make the world in which they live a place where they need not live in fear because of some perceived difference. I am calling on community leaders and business owners in Rhy'Din City and the surrounding area to join me in declaring safe havens.
What is a safe haven" A place any citizen, regardless of race or religious belief, may enter in safety and be welcomed. A place where violence of any kind is not tolerated, and will be dealt with swiftly and efficiently, without recourse to answering violence with violence. A place where citizens can claim sanctuary from violence perpetrated against them until such a time as they can be safely returned to their homes, or wherever they choose to go, without the risk of further violence against their persons.
I am declaring all GrangerGuild properties safe havens for this purpose - all warehouses, docks, places of business, and Maple Grove itself will be safe havens for all citizens. GrangerGuild security will be present at all these locations. Anyone engaging in hate speech or violence will be ejected from these premises and banned from ever entering again.
I call upon community leaders and business owners in Rhy'Din City and the surrounding area to join me in declaring their own interests as safe havens. If you have need of it, GrangerGuild can supply security teams to ensure your declaration is upheld, and I am certain others will offer their own security measures.
I have faith in this city and its people to stand united against anyone who seeks to divide us. Our strength comes from the very differences that some would have you believe are dangerous and oppressive. Rhy'Din has always embraced peoples of every race and culture, and welcomed their involvement in the commercial and social life of our city. It would be a tragic shame if the recent rise in violence were to end what is, I believe, the best part of Rhy'Din.
Thank you."

All business and property owners are welcome to post here, to create a list of these safe havens so we're all aware of where is safe and where isn't. Feel free to add which security measures your business/property will be employing.Cheers, folks!))
