"It's perfect," Jon told the sales clerk with a smile, blue eyes shining happily. He'd been smiling a lot lately, and it was mostly because of a certain mysterious redhead. He'd been trying to keep his relationship with Vicki under wraps as much as possible, but he knew he wasn't going to be able to keep it a secret much longer.

The premiere of Crowes was in another week, and he knew Lelah, the studio, and its investors had a lot riding on the film's success. As it happened, so did Jon, in more ways than one.

But this wasn't about the premiere. This was about what he was feeling for a certain someone who'd unexpectedly come into his life and changed it forever.

"Shall I wrap it for you, sir?" the clerk asked, drawing him out of his thoughts.

"Please," Jon replied with a nervous sigh. "I hope she likes it."

"She's going to love it," the clerk assured him with a smile.

"I hope so," Jon said, watching as the package was carefully wrapped in blue and gold.

He only had to keep the gift a secret for one week, just as he was keeping her a secret, and then everyone would know that Jonathan Granger was in love with Victoria Marshall.
