Correy sat at the library table, textbooks and manuals opened up in a splay around him. A pen in hand, his head held up by the hand that wasn't busy writing. And when he wasn't writing, he had the end of the pen at his lips, tap tap tapping. "Hmmm..." and with an expression that said he had a light bulb over his head, he began to write once again. Jon had asked around and been told where Correy could be found. It brought a heartfelt smile to his face to know Correy was working things out and making a life for himself. Even though they were no longer lovers, there was a special place in Jon's heart for Correy and there always would be, perhaps more than for any other of his cousins. He entered the library quietly, spying his young cousin there at the table, watching him quietly a moment with a warm, affectionate smile on his face. The school's library wasn't that big, so when the door opened and a cool breeze blew in with the scent of Jon's cologne was on it, Correy looked up and smiled widely. "Well, well," he chuckled, rising from his chair. "If it isn't the monkey's uncle," Pushing his chair in, he walked towards Jon, with every intention of hugging his cousin. The bond and love they shared for each other shone in bright blue eyes. "I hear congratulations are in order," murmured as he enveloped Jon into a Correy special bear hug. Jon laughed. "I might be an uncle, but not to a monkey." Jon welcomed and returned the hug, not worrying about whether it was a manly thing to do or not. Correy knew him better than most anyone, other than Vicki, and he didn't have to worry about keeping up appearances with him. He could just be himself. "Yeah, not jealous are you?" "Of course I am," he quipped and stepped out of the hug. "And incredibly angry with you," His expression belied his statements, as well as the grin in his voice. "How dare you not tell me first?" His brows rose as he teased his best friend. "So when do I suit up with the tux and tails" Better yet, when do I get to plan the bachelor party of all bachelor parties" It's going to be epic!" Jon chuckled as Correy dove right into the role of groomsmen even before he had a chance to ask. "How do you know I'm going to ask you?" he teased, blue eyes dancing with amusement, a good-natured smirk on his face. He looked and for the record, felt happier than he could ever remember. "Because I am a lot more fun than our other cousins and you don't have very many guy friends." Correy answered confidently. He stepped back, and led the way back to the table with his books. "And I've got the connections to give you the very best party. So I'm a natural choice!" Jon's smile faded momentarily when Correy reminded him how few friends he had - at least, those of the male persuasion. Straight ones, anyway. "Just don't get me in any trouble with the bride!" he warned as he followed Correy to a table. "Hey, I'm going to provide the temptation. It's on you whether you get yourself in trouble." Correy laughed and plopped back down into his seat. "So..." he cleared a book or two out of the way and leaned back. "Tell me about it. How'd you ask and stuff?" He took a seat across from Correy, the smile spreading across his face again at the memory of his proposal. "I took her to Venice. I wasn't gonna pop the question there, but it just happened. Then when we got back, I did it again at the theater, Shakespeare style."

Correy sat and listened, a goofy grin on his face. He was beyond happy that Jon had some peace and happiness in his life. "Man, you should have videoed it or something. Sounds so romantic." Correy leaned back in his chair then and stretched his legs under the table. "So, you were going to ask me something?" Jon chuckled at Correy's question. "You already said yes." He sobered a moment though, as he realized Correy might be hurt by who else he chose as groomsmen and best man. "But you have to ask, anyway. Make it official." When Jon's expression turned a little sad, Correy canted his head. "What's wrong?" "Nothing, I..." He sighed. He never could hide anything from Correy. Correy read him like a book. "I'm not sure who else to ask. I was gonna ask Dom to be my best man." Correy nodded and leaned forward. His arms supported him on the table as he grasped his own elbows. "Why are you sad or whatever about that?" He glanced up at Correy with a worried look in his eyes, a one-word explanation. "Ollie." Correy considered the single name and then nodded slowly. "I think it'll be alright. He's so out of the world happy with his new bride and baby that he'll be happy that you're including him in the wedding, too. Don't worry so much." Jon nodded his head, knowing Correy was probably right, but the sting of past remembered hurts still troubled him a little. He knew he should just talk to Ollie and work things out, but he didn't want to bother him. The truth was Jon's closest friends had always been female. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Correy wasn't convinced. Reaching out, he grasped Jon's shoulder and gave a gentle squeeze. "Ok, out with it. What's bugging you Jon?" He lifted his brows, bright blue eyes inquisitive. "Nothing, I just..." He frowned a little. This would be when Vicki would step in and tell him he's thinking too hard, but Vicki wasn't here to soothe his worried mind and push the troubles thoughts away. "I know you and Ollie don't get along and..." He sighed again, leaning back in his char. There were too many people he felt close to, and he didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings by leaving them out. "Now Jon," Correy sat back again and shook his head with a grin. "I can get along with anybody and you know it. It'll be alright. You'll see. I promise I'll behave myself." "I'm not worried about you, Corr," Jon replied, still frowning. "I just....I want this day to be special and you know how the family is." In short, he wanted them to get along for one lousy day. "It will be special, Jonny." Correy assured him and smiled again. "Because by the time the family gets rip roaring drunk, you and Vic are going to be long gone on your honey moon. I promise."

"Ohmygosh, a honeymoon!" he exclaimed. "I already took her to Venice. How am I supposed to top that?" Correy chuckled at how easy it was to take Jon from one worry to the other. "You'll think of something, I'm sure. Venice was romantic, now try something fun..." Correy thought for a moment and snapped his fingers. "Talladega!" Jon made a face. "Talladega! Do I look like a NASCAR fan to you? No, it has to be somewhere romantic. Sunsets, long walks on the beach, that sort of thing." Correy giggled and shook his head. "Ok, ok, how about Maui" It's gorgeous and not nearly as crowded as Honolulu. Or maybe a cruise on what?s his name's boat' You know, Caro's beau?" Jon frowned, not really liking either of those ideas for one reason or another, but he was confident it would come to him sooner or later. "I'll think of something. The wedding isn't until fall. I have time." "So, how are you and what?s his name again? Kenny' How are you and Kenny doing?" Correy nodded, the fall was a long way off. Another idea hit him for a romantic getaway but he kept it to himself. Maybe he and Kenny would be utilizing the idea someday. And then Kenny was mentioned and Correy got a dreamy look on his face. "We're doing great. He's so..." Correy laughed and shook his head. "I don't know how to describe it Jon. He doesn't say he loves me, but every time we're together he does these amazing things that tell me." His eyes narrowed and he leaned forwards a little. "Does that sound weird?" Jon smiled a little wistfully, feeling much the same way about Vicki, but remembering how it had once been with Correy. There was a sweet sadness to that memory, even though he remembered very little of it. "No, it doesn't sound weird. Were we like that once?" Correy hadn't wanted to go down that memory lane. Part of it was still healing and it ached just a bit more than he let on. He gave a rueful smile and shook his head. "Oh hell no. When we first started, we couldn't get off of each other. And the entire world knew exactly how we felt. We told everybody as loudly as we could." Correy glanced away for a moment, his conscience still bugging him about how his relationship with Jon had hurt Rori and Kaylee. Jon could almost sense that something was wrong, something was bothering his younger cousin, and probably something he didn't even remember. Despite everything that had happened, Jon still cared for him and he reached out to touch Correy's arm and pull him out of his thoughts. "What's wrong?" Correy looked at Jon the moment he was touched and he smiled again. "It's just that although we were happy, we hurt people in the process. People important to us. And..." he inhaled deeply and considered not continuing. But it had to come out. "It's just that sometimes I still miss what we had, that's all. You were my first, in a lot of ways. So yeah. But I don't dwell on it. Kenny's wonderful and I'm crazy about him. He's helping me in a lot of ways that he probably has no idea that he's helping me. And....I'm babbling. But you get the point. Right?"

Jon's expression softened, becoming all at once serious and concerned, wanting to reach out and reassure his younger cousin. Even if they were no longer lovers, he still held a special place in Jon's heart. "Corr, I still love you. I'm always gonna love you. It's just different now." He gave a soft, reassuring squeeze to Correy's arm. Few understood Jon's capacity for love, for forgiveness, for sympathy and compassion, but Correy knew him well and should understand. "I know." Correy nodded with a smile. "And I'll always love you, too. Nothing will ever change that, Jon-Boy." He cracked his sideways grin and then laughed a little. "Ok, enough of that. You should take Vic to Appalachia if you're doing a honeymoon in the fall. It's gorgeous." The smile broke again now that Correy was no longer brooding on past mistakes. Jon knew from his journal what had transpired, though he didn't remember it. He'd tried to make up for things, but he wasn't really sure how. He could only hope his loved ones would forgive him and wish him happiness. "Appalachia?" he echoed, chuckling. "I'm thinking somewhere tropical." "Man, the Appalachians are gorgeous that time of the year with the trees turning all sorts of colors. And you can stay in these neat chalets that are freakin' awesome." Correy argued, leaning forwards on his arms once again. The past was just that, and only to be touched upon once in a great while. And now that they were talking about the present and future, Correy could be much more objective. "Really." Jon was quiet a moment, as he thought that over. You could almost see the wheels in his head turning during moments like these. He had always been something of a thinker, thinking too much most of the time. "Maybe we should make a list." "We?" Correy's brows shot up and he was pleased that Jon had included him in the planning of the wedding and/or honeymoon. "I'll be happy to help out in any way that I can possibly do so." Reaching over, he grabbed a legal pad and pencil, and then laid them in front of Jon. Jon smiled as both Correy's surprise and his enthusiasm. "Okay, let's make a list. Ten romantic honeymoon destinations. Number one....Appalachia." Though Jon wasn't too sure about that one. "Appalachia during the fall." Correy corrected. "If you guys want to do a different season, there are tons of other places to go." He grinned and leaned his elbow onto the table, his head supported by his palm. "Hmm, how about the Bahamas" Or Bermuda?" He lifted his head and snapped his hand onto the table top. "Bermuda! You can defy the evil triangle!" "No, it's going to be fall." Unless for one reason or another, the wedding had to be pushed forward, but he doubted it. He laughed at Correy's suggestion. His uncanny ability to make Jon laugh had always been one of the things Jon liked most about him. "I don't think so. What about Scotland" Hawaii" The Bahamas? Egypt' Paris." Various destinations were popping into Jon's mind now and rolling off his tongue, probably too many to make a list of only ten.

"If you go to Scotland, you might have us tagging along so Kenny can go to Ireland. Besides, isn't it cold there" Hawaii's good, anytime but I'd stick to Maui. Hawaii has too many people in it." He looked at Jon and laughed. "Start writing down your ideas!" "Oh!" Jon blinked, snatching up the pen and paper. He knew he'd have to consult with Vicki about the list, but at least, it was a start. He scribbled down a few of his ideas, tapping the pencil against his chin then as he considered further. "What's the most romantic place on Earth?" he asked, glancing at Correy. Correy sat back with a grin, his hands coming to rest behind his head, fingers interlaced. "Who says it has to be Earth' I've heard of other planets out there that put the Earth to shame. This one guy told me about a place called Naia where the trees and grass change color depending on what time of day it was. And there are no big cities for people to tear it all apart." "Naia?" Jon echoed. "I've never heard of it." He considered a moment before adding that to the ever-growing list of possibilities. "Where would you go if you were me?" "If I were you?" Correy laughed with a shake of his head. "Anywhere the crowds aren't. You may not remember what it was like in New York City but when you got mobbed, it was the most terrifying thing I've ever seen." He arched a brow at that, having read about the incident in his journal but not remembering it. Despite or maybe because of being a celebrity, he wasn't too fond of crowds and only tolerated them as was necessary. "Good point. No crowds." "That's why I think maybe Maui or even Belize. I read about Belize and the pictures are pretty cool." He gave a nod and waited for Jon to start writing again. Jon nodded his head silently and scribbled down those suggestions, adding a few of his own. "Tahiti," he suggested, another coming to mind, a light bulb going on in his head. "What about Fiji?" "Fiji sounds great! Are you sure there's a portal there" Can we pay somebody to make one?" He looked over at Jon again and grinned. "Or you could really screw with people's heads and stay on Avalon, right in the harbor." Jon chuckled. "The portal goes everywhere, Corr. You just have to know how to use it." He hadn't considered Avalon and there was another place to add to the list, which was getting lengthier than he had anticipated. "Ok, I think that's enough brainstorming for now." Correy put his hand in the middle of the pad and looked up at Jon with big blue eyes. "And you still haven't asked, you know." Jon's attention was drawn back to Correy's face when he laid a hand against the pad, and Jon set the pen aside to look up at him, a small smile curling his lips. "Would you do me the honor of being one of my groomsmen, Corr?"

"It's about time," Correy grinned and reached across the table to hug Jon tightly around the neck. "I will be honored to be one of your groomsman." He placed a kiss to Jon's cheek, and then pulled away. "You were always backwards," he teased. Jon laughed both at the show of affection and Correy's teasing remark. "What does that mean?" he asked, curiously. "You do things backwards." Correy laughed and began clearing the table of the books he could take with him. "Asking me a good half hour after I've said yes." he faked a sniff but couldn't help but laugh. "And you assume!" Jon shot back, but with a good-natured smile and a happy gleam in his eyes. "Seriously, Corr....I can't think of anyone I'd rather have than you." "Mmm I've heard that before," Correy teased with a grin. "Many, many times." He made a point of slowly standing, arching his back and clenching his butt cheeks together. "Mmm so many times, yes, oh..." He laughed again at Correy's remarks. "Enough of that. I'm practically married, and you've got a boyfriend." He moved to his feet, poking a finger at Correy's chest. Correy laughed with him and picked up his book bag. "Yeah, yeah, I know. But it brought a grin to your face. All that matters." He considered himself something of a court jester, when it came to his family. "You need a ride" I brought the Bentley." His pride and joy, his most prized possession in the entire world, other than those of flesh and blood. "Naa, dorms aren't too far away." Correy declined with a grin. "Besides you won't let me drive it anymore. I mean, I never left a dent in it before. Just because I took it up to 120 ..." He chuckled and reached to wrap his arm around Jon's neck as they walked towards the door. Jon laughed. "It's not that. I just need it to get back and forth. What good is a car if everyone else is always driving it all the time?" He ripped off the sheet of paper with the honeymoon list and tucked it into a pocket, handing Correy the pad and pen. "Thanks, Corr." For what, he might wonder. Just for being himself. "Welcome, Jon-Boy. Any time you need to work out things, give me a call. I'll be around." He hugged Jon then, and let him go. "And don't be so much of a stranger, hmm' I've a boyfriend that I would love for you to meet."

"Long as you don't suggest a threesome....or a foursome, I'm fine with that," Jon replied, with a teasing wink, tossing a mock salute to his younger cousin as they headed out to part ways. Correy gasped, as if shocked. "Now would I ever?" He laughed and then wagged a finger in Jon's direction "Don't answer that." With a couple of steps back, he waved to his cousin, then turned to head to the dorms and a sleeping Kenny.
