November 2015 Royal Rabble Club

Bailey snuck into the Royal Rabble Club during his lunch break and headed up to the lockers. If anyone had spotted him, they would have seen a strange sight: the normally poised model hunched over, arms wrapped protectively around something to keep it out of sight. Only for a brief moment, when it was tucked away in Lirssa's locker, was there anything to glimpse: a flash of what looked like hemp, a red ribbon wrapped around something.

Upon opening, the locker revealed its newly placed treasure. Bailey had brought in a small gift basket, made out of seagrass, containing a variety of sweets. The basket was wrapped in plastic, protecting its contents until ready for eating. There were dark and white chocolate-covered pretzels, the latter drizzled in additional caramel. Two small bags of caramel corn, one plain and one with dark chocolate as well, took up a large chunk of real estate in the basket. Chocolate-covered coffee beans, peanut brittle, and chocolate almond bark sat at the top of the basket. Stuck smack dab in the middle were a handful of small wrapped chocolate squares. Half of them were dark chocolate, the other half filled with caramel.

A white envelope was attached to the basket, with Lirssa's name written in somewhat flowery cursive. Inside the envelope was a brief note, written on L.D. 50 stationary, in that same handwriting. Included with the note was a paper gift certificate for the store, valued at 50 silvers.

Dear Lirssa,

I have been remiss, both in expressing my thanks for past assistance and in apologizing for past harm. I am grateful for the help you rendered in making sure I got home after that evening of magic dueling that left me temporarily incapable of speaking Common, and I am sorry if my actions during our Iron Fists duel caused any harm to you. Please accept this basket of snacks, and this gift certificate for the store that I work at, as expressions of my gratitude and remorse.

Sincerely,

Bailey
