The following email was sent out to all senior staff.

From: snorlax@riverview.med To: seniorstafflist@riverview.med Sub: Flowers

I believe I owe an explanation to some questions being tossed around regarding a recent shipment.

I made a request with a local floral shop last week to have several Sansevieria imported and delivered to the senior staff members, as a token of gratitude for their assistance and understanding since I was appointed to this clinic. Shortly after they arrived, however, I began getting emails and comments about strange....behavior from the plants. I can safely say for certain that, after looking at mine, that they aren't actually plants, not in the common sense.

The pots are occupied instead by a creature known as Oddish, whose upper body resembles leaves but lower body is a free-walking bulbish shape. I've attached a picture for reference.

Snorlax decided to attach the picture oddishdiagram.jpg http://www.freewebs.com/poke-kennel/ani043.gif

I can assure you that they do not mean any harm. Oddishes are rather docile and prefer to spend most of their days under soil, only preferring to come out when it is night and it has cooled down. I believe their climate requirements is why they went undiscovered for so long, as the truck they were shipped in was probably mist-cooled to keep the plants alive. If after reading this you prefer to keep them on hand, I can provide further details. If you decide not to keep them, I will make arrangements for them.
