Dr. Valkonan and Staff,

You are invited to take part in several upcoming discussions regarding medical care for all citizens and special assistance needed for the undead among them. Plans are being made for updated Fire Brigade, Watch facilities, and urgent care centers throughout the city.

Your assistance and input would be both welcome and appreciated. Dates and times will be announced.

Sincerely,

Colleen MacLeod-Fenner Governor of Rhydin

Interoffice Memo to M. Valkonan, Chief of Staff From B. R. Dillon, Head of Forensics and Pathology

Dr. Valkonan,

It's my understanding that hematology keeps a supply of plasma on hand in case the blood supply runs low. The plasma is known to give temporary relief to undead in need. Theoretically, we could could create a plasma substitute to help increase that supply. Another option is to use a process similar to PCR, which amplifies DNA samples for study.

In the last year, some of the graduate students under my watch have made great strides in the creation of dermatological patches in various skin tones. They have aided in preventing infections as burn victims heal. It is possible that these patches could be helpful to those undead whose skin deteriorates at varying intervals. Presently, full body coverage is not available. However, if we are able to get volunteers willing to give us skin samples to test for compatibility, it would speed up the process.

Be advised that I plan to attend the meeting regarding the undead. I might find some willing volunteers there.

Sincerely,

B. R. Dillon
