It should have been a given that she would find her way down here. She had been spending a lot of time renewing her ties with her daughter. Now it was time to try and do some good in these lands.

The medical center seemed to be the natural choice for the healing adept. Even though magic was her forte, she specialized in the healing aspects. So it was that the here that the be-robed adept was.

Within the sleeves of her robe she carried her credentials. She smiled at the thought. She had been doing her research and knew what it may take. She stopped before the receptionist and smiled, "I wish to place an application for employment."

Phyllia Hawkwood looked up from stacks of pink message forms, organized by the recipient and order of priority. She nodded with a harried expression to the silver haired robed woman.

"Please take your application to Humanoid Resources, Miss. They will look it over, and get back to you as soon as possible. If you'll excuse me, please?"

The harried receptionist went back to answering the phone. All twelve buttons on the device that indicated an outside line in use were lit up and strobe blinking in perfect syncopation.

She took the application with a nod and looked for the signs for humanoid resources. The change child found the signs that took her to the department. With a brief nudge of the door, she stepped within the office.

Seeing that the office was a bit busy, she took a seat and waited her turn.

It seemed to be a constant sort of state around Riverview Clinic these days. The harried looks on the support employees' faces. Residents urgently rushing around in the halls. All around, there was a sense of tension in the air, thick enough to cut with a scalpel.

And Humanoid Resources was no exception. The young man behind the desk, whose brass nametag stated Thomas Montgomery, Support Services, appeared to be quite swamped as he fielded the calls and paperwork that crossed his path.

Finally, the freckled redhead pushed his horn-rimmed glasses up on the bridge of his nose with the knuckles of his left hand. He faintly smiled in the pretty woman's direction as he took the application form from her. Then his smile grew as he read through the paperwork.

"Hm, hm, hm. This looks good. Very, very good. Report down the hall to get your photo ID badge. Here's the form for that." He handed over a pink form. "I'll get your payroll forms filled out for you, and you can start work today."

Thomas held out his hand to shake the robed woman's hand. "Welcome to Riverview Clinic, Miz? err, sorry, Doctor uth Dravon."

She murmured softly, "Call me Shar." There was a warm smile that had those Amethyst eyes dancing. Her hand clasped his in greeting.

She then took up the forms and made her way down the hall taking in the various people and the state of hurry everyone was in. She slipped into the room and presented the person there her forms.
