Too much violence. The fear was too palpable. She had to do something. She was a projective empath and is was smothering her. Darius' abilities were far stronger than hers in this path and he was finding it difficult to come to the clinic.

So many questions, how to answer them all? She came upon an idea her people would use. Song....She knew a few songs appropriate to the situation and maybe, just maybe it would get through to people gently. She was a mage, afterall, and a Healing adept. As the children gather for day of crafts and entertainment she had a bard come. She had met this bard in the marketplace helping a elderly woman that had been beset by thugs.

Yes, this was the perfect idea.

She was intrigued to say the least. The woman looked enough like her sister that there was a brief pang. The woman carried herself with the grace and compassion she has seen in Dlaertha and a heart she had herself carried.

The request was simple enough. Sing for a group of children at the local clinic. The woman had gone onto tell her that a few of the children were critically ill and might not recover. Oh, now that had her heart breaking. An ill child needing comfort was something she could not deny.

That's how the Bard of Shadowdale found herself at the front desk of the clinic with a warm smile for the receptionist.
