Alicia had stepped outside the inn for a breath of fresh air. A basket abandoned on the street and a lump next to it caught her gaze and she went for a closer look. The lump was a person, she realized even as she approached. She lowered to her knees and slowly rolled the lump over to see who it was.

Alicia winced at the popping sounds as the body came to rest on her back. What she saw with the sparse light made her gasp again. The face of the limp form was covered with injuries and not recognizable just now and Alicia's gloved hands where now coated with what could only be blood. She moved her hands to place upon the limp form and her necklace started to glow a light blue, intending for the mana to heal those injuries. But she quickly found that the wounds would not react to the magic energy.

Alicia would need light, more than what the sparse street lights had to offer. She ran back to her van and climbed inside. Only moments later she had the van in park again and its lights illuminate the scene. She snatched the first aid kit from the back and returned to the limp form as fast as she was able.

Now she thought that she recognized the pale green of the skirt the woman wore where it wasn't yet soaked in blood. She also made out the poodle though it was torn and dirty. The van's lights also made the extend of injuries more obvious. While blood had congealed and darkened in some places, in others it was bright red and still trickling. Even as her gaze moved over the woman's form, the limbs at odd angles, some of the exposed, blistered and blackening skin cracked open.

Alicia quickly got on her radio and turned the dial. As soon as she had the connection she spoke, her voice urgent. "We have a civilian down. A one Mira with multiple fractures, and lacerations with second degree burns in front of the Red Dragon Inn. Need assistance!" She did not wait for a reply but returned to the girl's side.

"Mira" Can you hear me" You're going to be ok. We got an ambulance coming and you're going to be ok. Good doctors in Rhydin. Good." She watched for a reaction but could not make out one. "You know those cigarettes" pretty good, and you need to be at the stadium to sell those good cigarettes. I mean you need to sell all that good stuff to some of the most undeserving sons of slitches out there." Alicia's words still could not elicit a response and she decided that she could not wait for an ambulance.

She rose and sprinted over to the inn. Perhaps some of Rhydin's doctors and healers stopped in this evening as they did on so many evenings. There she burst through the front door, calling out, "Someone help! Mira has been attacked and she is in pretty bad shape.? She held up her black leather gloved hands, covered now in blood.

Dr. Savaris moved down the stairs just after Alicia had spoken, packing his surgical scrubs into his duffel bag. His shift was about to start in an hour.

Icer, in her hatchling form and enjoying a steak in the inn's kitchen, perked her ears. So far she just had heard the words "help" and "Mira" clearly. Vinny, who had given Icer the meal, stuck his head out of the kitchen.

"What's going on out here?"

"Mira is gravely injured. An ambulance is on the way, but she needs help now!" Alicia explained short and to the point.

Sivanna, the cleric, slid in noiselessly through the back door, tiredly winding her champagne locks into a loose braid. She let out a soft sigh and tossed Shyl o Pas Tandros onto the bar top before her attention was caught by Alicia's words. A blonde brow ticked upward.

"My magic did not seem to work in healing her! This way!" Alicia turned to bolt outside the door, but not so fast as to lose Vinny from her sight.

"Wait, what was that about someone injured?" Dr. Savaris's Hippocratic instinct kicked into overdrive as he swerved around the tables to the doorway.

"Who's hurt??"

Vinny shook his head and headed out at a trot to make sure Mira would make it until the ambulance would get there. Icer took a running leap for Vinny's shoulder. Vinny heard the hatchling take off and paused long enough for her to land on his shoulder before he resumed his run.

Alec, the journeyman walked along the road towards the tavern when he heard a familiar voice exclaim that Mira was hurt. He broke into a mad dash to the scene where Mira lay broken on the ground.

"Damn....what happened?"

"I found her like this." Alicia, having returned in time to hear Alec's question, answered Alec. "There is something off about her blood....I can smell something, but I can't quite pinpoint it, so don't touch her with bare hands to be safe." She held up her bloodied gloves. "I'm going to have these analyzed by the doctors."

Steel irises of the cleric darted between Vinny and Alicia, stunned, before she followed the commotion outside, her feet numb. The cleric's eyes landed on a crowd forming out front, and she caught only a glimpse of a stained shoe. It was then that she heard the journeyman's familiar voice. She moved behind him, making a numb hand reach for his back.

"Alec...?" The selective obliviousness in her voice was evident.

Vinny, realizing there were a lot of people out there now, stayed towards the edge. He could heal, but it wasn't his strong suit.

"I'm a doctor....let me see her." The red eyes looking up to Alicia belonged to Dr. Savaris.

Alec kneeled down beside Mira and brushed a few stray strands of shortened hair from her face. His hazel eyes took to examining the many wounds inflicted upon her, and tau-sight revealed the broken bones, lots of them. He reached back to pat Sivanna's hand upon his back.

"Jesus....who would do such a thing?" This wasn't just some mugging, by the looks of things. This was a deliberate beating.

As Alec kneeled, the elfess was given proper vantage of Mira's disheveled state. Instinctively, dark magic flooded into her veins so potently her bones ached from the burn. Whites and irises of her eyes were lost in an inky black pitch. Be that as it may, she stood by in silence, even backed away to give Dr. Savaris a wide berth.

Icer could heal too, but only when in her normal form. Now her tiny wings flapped as she peered down at Mira.

Alec spotted the flower basket then and the roses laying a short distance away. He stood and went to the basket and flowers to pick then up and to inspect them. Neither looked to be damaged or to have been used as a weapon in an altercation.

Icer did not even peer at the basket, her eyes not leaving Mira, tiny nostrils quivering.

Slowly the drow doctor knelt to Mira, his eyes searched around every contour of injury.

"This almost looks like it was done with intent....all this pain....wait a second." He had seen blistered and blackening skin before. "These blisters..."

"This doesn't look like any normal physical injury....some foreign agent..." What agent in particular snapped into the drow's mind. It was a thought that should have never been there. "Eilistraee, vel'bol xunus nindol vassnti xun?"

Meanwhile Alicia had placed her hands underneath her boots and with a bit of pressure managed to pull her hands free without touching the gloves. That feat accomplished she retrieved a mini flash light from her van. Now she clicked it on to shine upon the cobbles around the basket it in search of any footprints, or other signs of a struggle. She found footprints that matched Mira's sneakers, but none whatsoever of who might have attacked her. The signs of a struggle she found were minimal.

Alec shook his head, disappointed that there seemed to be nothing of significance about the flowers. Still, he would hold onto them for the time being. It was probably too much to hope that there was a card or something accompanying the arrangement.

"No one touches this girl. If someone even just brushed their clothing against her body in any way, I want to know it. She's been poisoned." Dr. Savaris gazed to Alicia.

"Vel'bol shlu'ta usstan xun?" the elfess queried the drow doctor flatly, her Drow only mildly mispronounced. Her expression was....complicated. Icer, still clinging to Vinny's shoulder, pulled her ears flat at the mention of poison.

"My gloves and boots were contaminated." Alicia pointed to her gloves on the ground. "I did not come in contact with it rather my skin didn't."

"Xo'al ulu kl'ae faer ulu ser ilta stabilized....Usstan h'ros risk natha physical procedure hwuen il cas ulu l' ER." Dr. Savaris responded to the elfess before he pulled a cell phone from his jacket pocket and flipped it open. Mira's heart rate was fast and stuttered, her breathing shallow. He pressed the speed dial button zero and looked over to Alicia. "Don't be so sure....that ambulance is going to have two passengers. I'm not screwing around if this is a drow poison we're dealing with. As for your gear....I'll make sure the paramedics properly bag it when they arrive."

Sivanna held her breath and experienced a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach at the drow's request, but she nodded nevertheless. A slow incantation, and she invoked the wild magic necessary to send a meager first aid spell Mira's way; the enchantment would do nothing for the injuries; only work to provide fluids and offset the tachycardia with a non-physical carotid massage. She felt Mira's heart react almost instantly, and as intended and hoped for. That was the best effort she could make, and she would pay for it soon. She then gained the most unfathomable expression as she took another step back in silence.

Icer's muscles twitched. She wanted to help Mira, but how..."

"Just my boots and gloves. I thought I smelled something funny, so it is a contact poison' I have antidote patches in the van if those would help, but I am pretty sure they won't since we don't have drow on our world, but we do have mutated spiders" Alicia replied.

Icer slid down Vinny, and then darted over to Alicia, peering up at the drow on her way, her tiny tail twitching.

"Don't touch me Icer. I'm contaminated." Alicia warned.

"I doubt they'll do much for her....but if it is derived from spider venom, it might slow the effects. Go get them." An answer clicked into the earpiece. "Dr. Savaris, ID 259860. I have a patient awaiting ambulance with characteristic signs of drow poisoning....highly uncommon toxin type. I need a room, biohazard level 4 procedures."

Icer blinked up at Alicia, then back to the drow, tilting her tiny head, eyes back on Mira.

"It is a full spectrum of things, from snakebites to spider bites and everything in between. It can even counter naga venom." Alicia nodded and opened her first aid kit. She took out the slap patches and handed the lot over to Dr. Savaris. "I also have trauma patches to reduce the risk of shock."

"Should stay back. Don't want to get that stuff on you.? Vinny leaned over and picked up Icer.

Alec had been watching in silence for quite a while. There was little he could do to assist Mira. Eventually he wandered back to where Sivanna was now standing after she cast her spell and wrapped an arm around her waist as he watched over their fallen friend, wondering when that damned ambulance would show up.

Icer squirmed a little as she was picked up until she realized it was Uncle Vinny that had her. She snuggled into his arms then.

Dr. Savaris opened up the duffel bag. He slipped on a pair of non-latex gloves and applied the antidote patches to the sides of Mira's neck.

"Her breathing looks more normal. It'll have to hold for now."

"So it is drow poison. Drow hit men did this?" Alicia tilted her head. "But Mira is a sweet innocent young girl. She faints at the sight of blood. What could she be into that would have someone try to take her life?"

"Maybe, maybe not.....I wouldn't be surprised if an assassin imported it." Dr. Savaris was not so quick to draw conclusions.

"Well it does look like drow work. No struggle. Drow poison. The question is" Who and why." Alicia had never felt so helpless in her life. Where was all that police detective work now when it was most needed" It was obviously a professional hit, and done by drow. She would have to go incognito in disguise in the darker parts of the city and do some snooping.

"Shar shyr pyrn vyrordia shal shor caes?" the cleric murmured icily, almost incredulously as she sunk into Elvish mode. She gritted her teeth and tensed as Nutria's toxic dark increased tenfold in her veins - the consequence of using wild magic. Still, that pitch rested on Dr. Savaris and Mira measuredly.

"I could go to the docks and see if any exotics were shipped in within the last couple of days. I'm sure drow poison is not something you can find on a street corner." Alicia offered.

Alec glanced at Sivanna for a moment. "I don't know. They obviously didn't want to kill her. They wanted to inflict pain, lots of it. But they also wanted her to live through it."

"Do drow normally do this?" Alicia asked of Dr. Savaris.

"Ais mi pyr," Sivanna responded flatly. Her expression had grown cold, distant. Calculated. There was only so much Sivanna could do, and at the moment, she could do none of it.

"Where's that damn ambulance?" Dr. Savaris muttered under his breath. The blackening and blistering of skin on the girl still spread and fresh blood evidenced newly cracked skin. Then he looked to Alicia to address her question. "Yes....the drow enjoy making their point known through pain.?

"She will." Alec nodded confidently. "If they wanted her dead....she would doubtlessly be dead."

"So it is either a drow, or someone familiar with drow behavior." Alicia mused. "That still leaves a long list."

"Screw the ambulance. I say we load her into that van and get her to hospital ourselves." Alec motioned to Alicia's van parked at the scene.

Sivanna's gaze did not leave Dr. Savaris once; only continued to observe the scene with the most unreadable expression.

"Open the back, there is padding on the floor and some research equipment." Alicia moved to the driver's side.

"Her bones are shattered. We'll need something to keep her body stable while we move her. A plank, maybe. Or..." Alec snapped his fingers and stepped closer to Mira. Extending his hand towards her, the whites of his eyes turned a dark blue as he begun to manipulate the tau to change the gravity around her so that she was lifted up gently from the ground without changing the position of her broken bones. From there he began to levitate her towards the back of the van. Not even a moan issued forth from Mira. And without gravity, blood droplets did not fall either along the way.

"I suppose that works too." The line was still open on Dr. Savaris's phone. "Reroute the ambulance back to base; patient is being personally brought in. I also want a pathologist there the moment we arrive; I don't want us going in completely blind. Patient's skin is blackened with profuse and continuous blistering and second-degree necrotization."

Alec set her down lightly in the back of the van, and then crawled inside to kneel with her. "You're going to be alright, Mira. You just hang in there." He then crawled out of the back and walked to the driver side door, giving it a tap. "Take her and the doctor to the nearest hospital. We'll meet you there later."

"Are there any clean towels inside" I still need to transport the contaminated gear." Dr Savaris asked of Sivanna before he called over to Alec and Alicia, "Riverview clinic. Biohazard procedures have been set up in the ER for the girl's arrival. I'll be there ASAP."

Sivanna instantly strode inside, moved behind the bar, snatched up a small stack of white, bleached towels, and made her way back to the drow, extending them to him silently.

"Vel'bol else shlu'ta usstan xun?" Sivanna asked.

"Here." Alec removed his coat and placed the contaminated objects inside it, folding them up and setting them inside the front passenger seat. "She's good to go."

"Unless dos sha'nalt tlu natha toxicologist 'zil al, naubol..." Dr. Savaris replied to Sivanna, rising to his feet. He cradled the keys to his motorbike between the ebony digits.

Sivanna gave him a wry grin then, and she moved out of the way.

"Is she secure back there?" Alicia wanted to know. When Alec confirmed that she was, Alicia took off into the night, driving with Mira towards the clinic.

Dr Savaris dumped the duffel bag on the back hanger of the bike, slung his body over it and gunned the throttle. Soon the drow blended into the night, off to perform his duty.

Sivanna's pitched glanced to the stained pavement where the girl's body lay, and the elfess's lips moved to form an Elvish incineration spell. "Ailolaesari," she ordered harshly, and most of the residue went up in flames like kerosene. Could risk exposing the inn's patrons to any possible contaminants, after all.

Alec wandered back to Sivanna's side, touching her shoulder as she cleaned up the mess left behind. Her eyes lingered where the stain was for only a moment before she turned back to Alec wordlessly.

"She'll be alright." Alec reiterated, giving her shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "Maybe we should go there, help keep an eye on her."

Sivanna did not blink. "Ai'jh kai shaesi o kai," the cleric responded evenly.

She would follow behind the EMT's as they raced down the hallway to bring Mira into the trauma unit of the ER. A man in a Haz mat suit motioning for the officer to come with her. Not really wanting to go and leave the poor cigar girl, but she had to have her clothes cleansed.

Making her way down the hallway into another room the hazmat suited man spoke, "Extend your arms out. We are going to take your clothes. If you would like I could get a..."

Alicia smirked and shook her head. "Just do it yourself, but dont get any ideas."

And the suited man began removing the various articles of clothing carefull not to let the blood touch the woman's bare skin. Placing them in biohazard containers. Now left in only red lacy undergarments. Hands upon her hips. Foot tapping upon the cold floor. The man having left soon came back with a set of scrubs. Tossing them to alicia who donned them quickly. Slippers put on her feet she would slip her gunbelt which had no blood upon it about the only thing that didnt other then those intimacies. Moving back to where they were working on mira.

Sitting and watching silently. A hand placed upon her shoulder and a mask offered. Wrapping it around her mouth.

"You might want to leave." One of the medics looked over his shoulder.

"Im fine," she replied. She would not let the girl out of her sight. Not telling when those bastards might come back to finish the job.

The EMTs escorted Mira to a door covered in biohazard tape, the traditional symbol for just that embroidered across the door. Inside, the only thing viewable through the round window was thick plastic. Through a door to an adjoining empty exam room, Spider stepped through. He was almost unrecognizable in the heavy blue gown and full face mask, the standard examination gear for highly contagious cases. The scrubs were resilient enough that he could even operate on an ebola case. Highly undesirable, but doable.

The rest of the staff within the exam room wore similar scrubs as Mira was wheeled in. The door sealed behind them with an audible hiss. Air-compression in the room, to ensure that any possible pathogens stayed where they belonged during the procedure. "From this moment on, no one comes in or out without my say so." The drow spoke sternly. "If we need additional supplies, have then sent up the dumbwaiter. Is everything prepped as I requested?"

"Yes, doctor" The attending nurse spoke. "500mL sodium chloride, 200ml potassium iodide. Anti-toxin medication for treatment of common drow-derived poison ingredients is ready for infusion. Synth-skin grafts are ready when required, enough for the patient's entire body."

Spider made no acknowledgment as he counted the bodies in the room. "....I see only the surgical staff in here. Where's that pathologist I requested?"

"We're currently trying to locate one. The pathology department has yet to answer any of our calls or pages." The nurse answered sheepishly. "Chances may be that the department doesn't have any physicians on hand at this hour."

"Well keep trying. There's gotta be at least one pathologist on call that is an insomniac. If they still keep ignoring you....contact Dr. Valkonan's private number. She might not be practicing medicine, but she can still 'refer' someone to us. And by refer, I mean kick their ass into this room."

BIO HAZARD

Big red letters on a window between her and her friend. The tiny, innocent Mira. Who sold candy and flowers for Pete's sake. So innocent, she made the pope look like a dirty old man. Aja had passed Tru in the waiting room, sprawled on the couch, dead asleep. They hadn't been letting people back here. But Aja was once a damn good thief, sneaking past hospital security wasn't hard, that thought ticked in her head a little. What if whoever had done this, wasn't done" Couldn't they just as easy sneak past"

General consensus was it was a Drow, she still wondered with recent events if someone else had sent someone after her friend. Not even that whiny worm would do this, would she" To target the most innocent of the family that she seemed to hate and envy at the same time" Seemed her style, but Aja didn't know. She couldn't think anymore, couldn't fathom the tiny figure in the bed.

No poodle skirt, no head band in mint green, no smile. Barely any movement at all. Just the beeps of machines, and the hiss of air tanks. Those things in place of all the other things she had come to expect from the now pale Mira.

Aja ducked in a patient room, the guard going by on his rounds missing her completely. She stood in the darkened room, staring across the hall at the window.

BIO HAZARD.

The red letters mocked her.

"Bio hazard, don't come near. You can't help here. "

Oh good, they mocked her in rhyme. She sighed and went back the way she came, stopping long enough to gently readjust Tru so he wouldn't wake up with a stiff neck. Snagging a blanket from the closet, she covered him up and gave him a gentle kiss on the head. "See you tomorrow, Tru Babes."

She couldn't help the one, being non medical, non magic and feeling pretty much non helpful. She turned her attentions to what she could do. Look after the rest of the family. Slipping from the hospital grounds, she kept a keen eye out, but saw nothing.

Laying in bed later on she would drift off into a fitful sleep. They messed with one, but the all had nothing to aim at.

Bridget Dillon

In the hallway just outside the doors with tape marked biohazard was an irritated green eyed redhead wearing dark blue scrubs. Bridget Dillon looked like a cross between Lauren Bacall and something out of an Irish fairy tale. Normally, she was the picture of confidence and serenity, but not tonight. She was arguing with the security guard posted outside the door.

"Look, you git, do really want to be responsible for a lawsuit if that patient dies because you held up the lab work?"

"I have no idea who you are, never seen ya," the burly guard gave her his most intimidating look.

Bridie was not amused or impressed, nor was she intimidated. She was doing a silent countdown in her head to the time when she knew her temper was going to blow and rival the Fianna on a rampage.

She opened her cell phone and dialed the number that kept appearing on her caller ID but until now, she hadn't been able to raise a soul, voice mail was better than nothing. As she spoke into the phone to leave the message, green eyes swept over the guard, she was silently assessing him.

"Dr. Savaris, this is Bridget Dillon from the Pathology Lab. Apparently this fellow out here took the no entry rule to mean all staff members as well. Would you mind very much giving him a call and telling him that you requested help from my lab?"

The guard's nostrils flared as he heard Bridget. While she had kept her tone calm on the phone, something in it set the guard on edge.

"One more thing, Doctor, given the nature of Rhydin and its various species of people, if anyone accompanied your patient into the biohazard zone, a separate containment area will need to be set up for each of them as safety precaution."

She closed the phone and waited.

As the crews were busy with the patch job on Mira. Sticking needles of god knows what in her to keep the frail form from dying. She was still by her side somewhat. Standing to see exactly what was going on. "Doctor, can you determine where the first wound occured and from what direction' If we know that I can go back to the scene and have a good idea of where to look for clues."

She felt bad and excited all at the same time. Bad because a innocent ciggerette girl was brutally beaten to near death, but excited at the prospect after so many months of being here she was going to be doing some actual police work. Though it was not her feild of expertise she did have a degree in astral forensics.

If magic was used and if she could find the point where the spells were cast it would be like a bloody glove or trail of footprints leading to the culprit, or at least getting an idea of where to look.

She rose as she was instructed to wait outside for fear of contamination, and rather argue with someone who seemed to know better then her about such things moved out as the bio door was sealed behind her. Arms crossed underneath her chest and she leans back against a wall. Peering into the window every now and then.

The healing adept had been briefed by Reception as she entered into the Clinic. Clipping her badge to her collar she started ushering non-essential personal away from the room.

She was making sure everything was posted and in order then she came across Dr. Dillion trying to get past the security guard.

"One more thing, Doctor, given the nature of Rhydin and its various species of people, if anyone accompanied your patient into the biohazard zone, a separate containment area will need to be set up for each of them as safety precaution."

She shook looked around in agreement. And she had seen Alicia exit the procedure room that was clearly marked. Her violet eyes lighted on one of the guards. "That woman is to be brought to a private examine room until we can determine the EXACT method of transmission. She was in with the patient..."

Aja stepped through the doors of the Riverview Clinic, intent on checking on family. Tonight got her a few more looks than normal, the addition of Peanut the monkey turned a few heads but if they were going to try to stop her, the look on her face may have deterred them.

She was intent on the task at hand. Check on her family. Stopping long enough by Tru to see how he was faring, and of course he was sprawled on that awful couch. He could wait one more moment. Peanut hopped down off her shoulder and perched on the back of the couch, seeming to understand that he couldn't go with her to the next location. Peanut seemed content to watch over Tru. Aja smiled. "Wait here buddy." Peanut chattered and Aja slipped down the hall.

BIO HAZARD

"Those words don't look any better the second time." she sighed. A look through the glass revealed the same sight as the day before. Tiny Mira hooked up to machines that beeped and made other random noises. "How's she suppose to rest with that racket?" Aja stared at the machines wishing they would silence some. She stared then at Mira sleeping. Yes. Sleeping, any other thought was too unsettling. A member of her family she couldn't protect.

Silent prayers sent up to Hygeia, the goddess of health. And slipped back down the hall. On her way, she found an orderly, and pulled the man along with her. He seemed puzzled by her behavior but went along with her. "Get a stretcher for me please." Aja said as they stopped in the waiting room. "Dr. Valkonan has given him," she nodded at Tru's sleeping form. "permission to use the on call room." "What do you need the stretcher for?" "You wanna carry him?" Aja grinned at the man and he looked at Tru for a long moment. "No ma'am." "Hence the stretcher. I'll wait." Aja stood and crossed her arms watching the man go. She walked over and sat down on the coffee table, digging a pen and paper out of her bag, quickly jotting down the things Tru needed to know when he woke up. She was finishing up when the sounds of wheels caught her attention. The orderly was back with a friend. "We're ready ma'am." "Stop callin me Ma'am." she grinned. "Aja works just fine." she stood up and let the orderlies come over. "Easy now fellas. Don't wanna wake him." Aja worried what would happen if he did wake startled. "We won't." Once they had him settled on the stretcher, she and Peanut followed them to the on call room, where the process was repeated in reverse. "Thanks boys. I appreciate it." Aja gave them a grateful smile. They waved and got back to their duties. Aja pinned one of the notes to Tru's shirt. The other was taped to the mirror. The blanket from the end of the bed was put over Tru and she laid a gentle kiss on his head. "Sweet dreams." One last look at him sleeping and then Aja slipped out the door and closed it behind her softly. She leaned against the door and stared at the ceiling. Hopefully the rest of the family was sleeping as well. A chatter from Peanut reminded her that she should go. Get him settled and then attempt some sleep herself.

"Miles to go before I sleep." she recited a line from an earth poet she heard someone read before and those words rang true tonight.

As the guards moved to escort Alicia to the quarantine room. "How did they get here? I want all conveyances quarantined, stat. We can't afford to have a potential plague getting loose. We don't know if it is blood-borne, air-borne and has a specific method of transmission. Until then, we work as if we are dealing with something virulent."

One of the family was already at work mobilizing the unaffected staff members.

"I want Disaster protocols implemented, stat. We already have two people in quarantine not counting the staff members treating them."

She was directing the staff to their areas. Yeah, she really had has pull to do so, but then when a Department Head says something people had better move.

"Set up the cafeteria to handle any non-life threatening cases. Private examine room are to be set aside for any potent quarantine issues."

Then the healing adept took an additional step that be only seen to those with the sight. Latching onto an intersection of leylines beneath the Clinic called a node, she set into place a major spell. With her mage sight, she built a full on shield around the Clinic. Literally nothing short of a celestial power on the scale of a god was getting in or out tonight.

She has worked in healing the land and healing people for too long to take the chance.

She was leaning against the door when she had heard the announcement. A sigh escaping her lips as gaurds approached her within those hazmat suits. She nodded to the pair and let them escort her into another section of the hospital. She was one of the few who had been within the inncedent so looks like she would have to find something to occupy her time.

Thinking. That is all she could do for now was think. Her hands underneath her chin and elbows upon her knees. Eyes seemingly staaring off into space watched that sealed door. Her thoughts on how Mira was doing, and hopfully they would find the poision was not contagious, and she could go about trying to find the one behind that attack, or at least find enough information for others to go on.

The drow watched as IV needles were inserted into the back of the cigar girl's hands, supplying her with necessary fluids. They would help to stabilize her vitals and prevent shock, hopefully.

He then heard a dial-tone coming from the phone in the room. It was a call from his personal line being rerouted into the exam room, seeing as how he was in charge of the procedure. "Nurse, please put it on speakerphone."

"Dr. Savaris, this is Bridget Dillon from the Pathology Lab. Apparently this fellow out here took the no entry rule to mean all staff members as well. Would you mind very much giving him a call and telling him that you requested help from my lab?"

"Nurse, external line." He directed and spoke to the speaker set just above the exam room door. "My apologies, I wasn't informed that pathology sent someone down already. If you go to the adjacent exam room, you'll be geared up to enter into here from the connecting door. Also, personnel should already be in the process of setting aside a sterile zone for anyone suspected of being contaminated."

His eyes then looked warily to the only entrance into the exam room. There wasn't going to be a damn thing done in the room until the pathologist came in, unless the patient had other plans.
