This was going to be a very important event for Maranya Tatiana Valkonan, doctor and the Chief of Staff at Riverview Clinic. The charity auction, if it was half as successful as the one Sinjin threw before Valentine's Day, would bring in much needed coin to help fund many worthwhile projects at the Clinic. Sivanna was doing her level best to make everything perfect, organization wise, for the occasion.

And the response from the public has been astounding, Maranya mused silently. Tapping into their philanthropic streaks has given us so many unique items to auction off.

Despite the negative publicity from Morana's scathing article, the Chief of Staff decided to thumb her nose at it all, and selected what she considered to be the perfect gown from the ones Koy had personally designed for her from her closet. Standing in front of the antique mahogany framed full length mirror, she held the yards of gleaming white silk chiffon, adorned with platinum lam' on the strapless bodice and waist, before her to judge the full effect.

Not too showy, but not too plain, either.

A satisfied smile curved Maranya's lips as she replaced the gown with care in her closet.

Perfect.

Sivanna found herself clinging to Silvanesti fashions, even in formal attire. Having been minus a steady paycheck since arriving on Rhy'Din, the cleric was forced to resort to a silk and chiffon gown from her closet that she'd owned for years. It suited her just fine, though. Siv's favorite color had always been silver. She would wear an ankle-length slip underneath, of course, but overall, she felt the gown was just formal enough for the occasion. Champagne locks would be tamed neatly in an elegant French twist, and accented with rhinestone barrettes.

Aja sat on her bed and stared at the blue dress Maria had hung up on her closet door. "Thank Zeus she took back that other one." Aja muttered thinking of the frou frou dress that had hung there previously. It had layers of fabric and looked like it belonged in a castle museum rather than on her. She stood up slowly eying the dress as if it was going to jump of the hanger and attack her. Slowly she reached out and grabbed it. "Might as well see how bad this one is." she changed into the dress, complete with shoes and stood looking in the mirror. "Yep...all comes out dork." she muttered, then caught Nikki's reflection in the mirror. He was standing there looking at her like he'd never seen her before. "I know. Don't even say it. I look ridiculous." Nikki stood for a long moment, just staring at her, which of course, made Aja fidget. "This one goes back too." she said and started to reach back to unzip the dress. Nikki snapped from his daze to grab her arm pulling her close. "Nae, Aja. Ye look..." he swallowed staring at her. "Ssin'urn. So very Ssin'urn." "You're biased." she said after a moment. "Aye, but not so much that I'd lie to you, Mirshann." his grip loosened and he ran a hand up her arm. "Ye are going to be the most ssin'urn woman there, Angel." "Only to you, ussta ssinssrigg. Only to you." she kissed his cheek and went past him to head to the bed, he stopped her and pulled her into his arms. "You have to realize that you're beautiful." "I'll only admit to being cute." she smiled at him. "Now let me get out of this crazy dress and get back to work." he merely smiled as he stepped forward. "We'll go back in a bit, Mirshann." "No. No messing up the dress." Aja put a hand on his chest. "Maria will kill me." "I nae intend to mess up the dress." Nikki grinned at her. "Tis coming off anyway, Aye?" "Yes." Aja laughed. "Just stay over there for a moment." Nikki chuckled then took a seat on the chair in their bedroom. The blue dress made it back to the hanger, Aja sat staring at it for a long moment. "Ok. So that one ain't so bad."

What began as a fun excursion eventually turned into a tedious chore after having spent the entire morning, and part of the afternoon, in search of a gown to wear for the formal affair. She wanted something with a splash of colour that would not clash with her red hair. Unfortunately, every dress she liked was not available in a shade for her "tone." After hours of going from shop to shop to shop, it seemed that all of the dresses looked alike. Just as she was about to give up hope, one particular black gown drew her attention. The saleswoman quickly assured the female Viking that every woman should have at least a couple of black dresses in her closet. Pleased with how it fit, Shy purchased the elegant dress. Tiny golden beads sparsely populate the bodice of this beautifully simple empire-style gown. The length of the a-line satin skirt is shorter in front than in back and is overlaid with flowing black chiffon. Black gloves, gold 'dangly' earrings, gold-coloured heels and a black purse complete the look.

She closed the door to her quarters, sealing herself off from the rest of the personnel in the compound, a soft sigh escaping full lips, her left hand rising to comb back blond bangs as she made her way to the closet and slid open the doors.

Caine had finally told them about the charity function and had given them little time to prepare security and to prepare themselves. She thumbed through the rack of clothes and settled on the formal gown....it had been so long since she considered wearing the dress, this would be the first time...but it was a rare taste in clothes where she and her sister's interests diverged.

The Eternity brothers were just going to rent generic tuxedos....but Sivanna was not going to let them get away with that. Due to this narrator's inability to describe clothing very well, the pictures will tell the story. Jin would of course also be wearing his usual black green-lensed sunglasses.

Also, to enhance the fancy effect, their angel wings would be visible the whole time. They were translucent, glowing slightly. Not small, but not too big. They weren't actually attached to their backs, so clothing was a non-issue. Neo's were blue, and Jin's were green.

The Eternity brothers weren't the only ones Sivanna was dressing that evening. The sneaky elven cleric also happened to charge herself with doing Aja's stunning, brunette hair with flowers, and outfitting a one Mr. Alec Tuttle in a solid black tux.

Not to be outdone was Michiko and the ever sauve Caine. Michiko was sporting a velvet little black dress with floor length black lace train. Caine was dashing in her black tux with white dress shirt and light grey vest.

Stephen had decided that perhaps it was time to update his wardrobe. After paying a visit to Koy, a shop he knew well from past bills he had seen while he was with Jewell. After paying a visit to the shop Stephen would show up for the auction wearing a tan classic cotton suit, with a blue pin striped oxford cloth shirt. The tie would be ditched early into the evening, giving the pirate a bit of a roguish charm.
