Posters have been seen going up around the city. It looks as though a carnival is coming. The airwaves rock through the radios of Rhy"Din. W.H.A.M. comes out of a fifty minute music session and the DJ, gives a small summary of what is to come after this message.

"The Anvil here folks, rocking with DJ Zazzy Yas. Catch me at my next match down in the outback"but first, you need to know. Reilly Recording, and The Guardians in partnership with Granger Guild, is proud to sponsor the Save the Small Business Carnival. July 11th, in the Marketplace will be an event to benefit the Small Business Relief Fund. The creation of this fund was a great help to the small business community recently. This is our opportunity to give back. We know that tragedy can strike anywhere at any time, join us in building back that surplus that allowed the fund to be created in the first place. Come on out and support the small businesses folks'don't let them end with a Krugey Krater."

Concession Stands line the north and south of the carnival boundaries in the marketplace. All food and drinks are provided for free and the business stands will be reimbursed by Reilly Recording Inc for their efforts. Donation jars are left out on the concession stand counters to collect donations to various Rhydin Charities including the Small Business Relief Fund and the Orphans Fund.

Fun Carnival Food Corn Dogs, Grilled Onion Blossom, Fried Chicken Fingers, Cheesy Popcorn, Grilled Corn on the Cob, Baked Soft Pretzels, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Caramel Popcorn Balls, Chili Cheese Fries, Nachos, Chicken Sandwiches, Spiced Shelled Peanuts, Pork Rinds, Onion Rings, Chili Dogs, French Fries, and Hamburgers.

Tasty Carnival Treats Cotton Candy, Funnel Cakes, Candy Apples, Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas, Soft Serve Ice Cream, Frozen Custard, Snow Cones, Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts, Watermelon Slushies, Lemonade Slushies, Root Beer Floats, and soft drinks.

Look!! Out in the Marketplace, very near the center of the shops, close to the fountain, is it a bird" is it a plane" maybe a dragon?

Ah, no. Some kind of weirdly shaped building, though...uh assumption that it will be a building, right now its just a shell of steel and wooden framework....

But there is a figure of a man that appears daily to work on and about the place, one crazy Spaniard, who goes by the name of Antonio Sabatier, wearing faded and holey (note that is not h..o..l..y..) jeans and a t-shirt that has the Guardian logo on the front of it, and a makeshift bumper sticker angled across the back...."Vote for Kruger". He's there at all hours of the night and day, swinging a hammer, toting building materials, occasionally taking a break to study what looks like architectural plans on a drawing board, before going back to work.

Usually, the construction of yet another building in Rhydin would not be newsworthy, but this is not the usual....at least in the shape of the shell of the building. No one has ever seen the likes of it before, causing speculation as to just what it might become.

....and tacked to one of the supporting beams on the front side of the building is a poster advertising the upcoming "Save the Small Business Carnival"....words added in freehand printing scrawled across it....

"Grand Opening, July 11.......as part of the Save the Small Business Carnival."
