Left for the governor to go over at his earliest convenience is a packet sealed with a circle of deep silver flecked, deep blue wax, a stylized rose pressed into the center.
The packet contains a proposal from the redneck to acquire, with his permission, a block of land, several empty lots where businesses and houses once stood. After a complete demo of the remaining structures, including the foundations, the lots will be turned into one large park.
Complete with playground equipment, a small wooded area, flowers and herbs growing in free form beds, a pond and small brook as a water feature. Food stuffs and fruit trees to be shared with the community as a whole.
The land would be paid for by Thorn herself, as would the labor and materials to begin and complete the transformation. The actual planting however, would be a joint effort of the community at large. A constantly evolving, changing, place to share.
At the entrance of the park some form of marker, with a plaque. As of yet, the images of the plaque were blank, no words were written there.
"This is the very beginning of something a friend of mine asked me to set up for them. At the Council Meeting, I'll explain more."
In a surprising feminine hand, a bit of a teaser was left written on the inside of a card emblazoned with the same stylized rose pattern as had been used to emboss the wax seal of the packet.
