It didn't take Briarius long to discover that Belial wasn't at the Governor's office when he arrived. However, a summons had been sent immediately afterwards to let Bel know that the Headmaster from Ravensheart Academy was there looking for her. Briarius" wait was short as Bel sauntered in through the front door with a smile and an extended hand.

"Milord Ravensheart, I presume?" Bel offered her hand to the Headmaster politely. "I'm Belial, most just call me Bel. Glad to meet you and thank you for such a swift response. This is a pivotal time; if we can control the outbreak we can potentially limit the economic impact' We are pleased that you've come to help!?

Belial wasn't as familiar with the Governor's office as she perhaps should have been. With a quick assessment and a few words exchanged with a nearby office worker Bel was able to find a more comfortable place for a conversation. Bel led Briarius to a small meeting room just off the entrance hall that the office worker had reassured was open. She talked as they walked not wanting to waste time.

"I am sure by now you've heard of the Rhy"Din Benghu Fever Outbreak" I can't say I have the latest details on how many have died, but vaccinations are being seen to. What we need from you are details on how we can best monitor the magical portals many use to travel to and from Rhy"Din.

"The long and short of it is simply this: we can not allow the virus to travel. We need to contain it. We can't commandeer the portals, but we can monitor them and attempt to ensure that any passing through them have been inoculated or are immune and cannot carry it." Bel closed the door to the small sitting room. Several empty chairs and some end tables lay in a semi-circle before a decent sized fireplace. The d"cor is somewhat formal, old-fashion and masculine. Bel gracefully swept a petite hand inviting Briarius to sit should he care to. She remained standing.

"I know this is sudden, and you've had no time to contemplate my questions" I want to extend you any time you need. However, we are in a bit of a predicament here" time is short' and whatever recommendations made must be fully considered by the Governor however she sees fit before anything can happen"

"So, Milord Ravensheart, can you help us?" Bel canted her head to the right, those green eyes on Briarius never straying. "We need to know what we can do' we need ideas, suggestions" Well" Just about anything right about now would be better than what we've got??

Bel nodded to the Headmaster's question.

"I am current House Leader of Onyx, yes." Bel isn't sure why Briarius asked but she is sure he will clarify later if it is important. For the moment she concentrates on the RBF Outbreak situation. "As for examining one of the dead"

"The Scathachian Sisters have opened up two Hospice locations; the Scathachian Temple in the Old Temple District and the other Northwest of the city, by Onyx House where the Sisters have their Sanctuary. The Lady Isuelt may be willing to let us examine the dead" Of course, she will likely expect us to behave respectfully' treat the bodies with respect' I very much doubt she would approve autopsies" Otherwise, she has the space and facilities that you should afford you privacy during your examination."

"Let me just get a message to the lady to ensure the Sisters won't mind and we can be off. Of course....if that is amendable to you Milord?"

During their conversation Bel had already informed one of her staff through telepathy of the situation and Briarius' specific needs. A runner was on their way to the Sisters nearby Sanctuary to request permission from Issy.
