Governor al-Amat,

If at all possible I would like to schedule a meeting with you at your earliest open date. I am sure that it has not escaped your eyes, but there seems to be a problem with deliquent youth, not unlike any other city. I would like to discuss a possible work program for trouble youths. I myself would be willing to take on some of these youths to work, and live on my ranch. They could earn a honest wage, a roof over thier head and thanks to Mira a full stomach.

I would be more than happy to share the the whole of my idea when we meet face to face.

Sincerely, Jake Duncan

"Trista," she called out of her office to her 'borrowed' assistant, the letter from Jake Duncan open in her hand.

"Yes?" the woman popped her head in the door with a quick glance around - so many things had been delivered recently that she wasn't sure she wasn't about to be asked to have a llama delivered to a charitable petting zoo.

"Could you schedule a meeting for me with Jake Duncan' And see if Wolvinator would be available to join us."

"Wolvie?" Alystrianna called into his office, inside their estate, as he was reviewing city-wide reports.

"Yeah?" He replied in a half coherent manner. He was focused on the crime rate in the city, as he usually was. While the overall reported crimes were low, his intelligence reports were showing that slavery, and organized crime, were up rather sharply. And usually, those two went hand-in-hand.

Aly peaked her head into his office, waving a telegram at him.

"You've got mail." She taunted him.

"Leave it there."

"No, this looks important. It's from Governor Helston." That got his attention. "She wants to meet with you and Jake Duncan about the troubled youth in Rhy'Din. She asked for you specifically."

"Is that so?" He quirked his eyebrow.

"It is." She said with a clever grin.

"See what time she wants to meet, and I'll make time for it."

"What am I, your secretary now?" Her grin widened. She thoroughly enjoyed chiding her husband.

"Will you just..."

"Already on it, Admiral."
