Left at the new Governor's office would be a large styroform cooler packed with various prime cuts of beef, kept fresh with dry ice. On top of the cooler was a hand written card.

Dear Governor Al-Amat,

Congratulations on your recent victory. We sincerely hope that your tenure as Governor is a prosperous one for the city. Please enjoy this gift in good health. Please do not hesitate to call on us if there is anyway we can help you in the coming year.

The gift was a generous one, and not something that could sit for long! She asked her 'borrowed' secretary, Trista, to arrange for a delivery team to come and pick the cooler up and deliver it to High Spires. The orphans and the couple who ran the house would enjoy the gift immensely, she was certain.

She penned the note back to Mr. Duncan herself.

Dear Mr. Duncan,

Thank you for your well-wishes and the generous gift of the beef. Truly, it all looked delicious, and it is easy to see why the Rhy'Din Beef Council has the excellent reputation it does.

As I am sure you can appreciate, there are many in this city who are in need. With this in mind, I have donated your gift in the name of your organization to High Spires, a local home that provides loving care, food and shelter to Rhy'Din's orphans until they can be transitioned to permanent homes. I assure you that their gratitude for your generosity will be as immense as my own.

I hope to see you at the public advisory council meetings in the future.

Cordially, Fionna Helston al-Amat
