Kitty chuckled "It's been a long time since I shopped for myself." She leaned back in her seat enjoying the sound of the horses as the carriage rolled along.

From the direction of the Old Temple District Road, a dark elf slipped into the Marketplace. He covered every inch of his skin away from the sun with a huge, heavy, black robe and black leather gloves. With graceful precision, that figure moved toward the pair.

Vrastiel nodded a bit. "I figured as much..you seem to keep on doing so much for everyone else...you really just need a day off from worries and such." Soon they felt the Carriage come to a stop at the market. "Hmm that didn't take long."

Kitty peered out the carriage window and chuckled again. "Well, it's not all that far from the Inn after all.."

"No its not at all...odd I would have thought at least ten more minutes." He gave a small smile as the carriage door opened to admit them out. He left first and then offered his hand up to her. She took his hand as she easily slid from the carriage. Her tail curled aside before the door was closed on it.

As they slipped from the carriage, Vanion passed the pair, slowing down to show his shadow-covered face to Kitty as he did so.

Vras smiled as he drew her close and then nodded to the Carriage..soon the men were off to the nearest bar while the pair made their way down the market place. "So what do you want to see first' All the stalls are open today and you can have whatever you want."

Kitty gave Vanion a distracted glance...she knew him instantly from his scent, but she smiled up at Vras. "I...don't know. I guess I could use some boots that aren't so...ah.." She let the sentence trail off.

Vanion slowed to a stop once past them and turned sharply, though not aggressively, his hands together and outstretched; a small, crystal ball in them.

"Boots it is then." He smiled to her as he as well takes a shift of glance to Vanion...true he had promised Tera to stop him..but this was Kitty's day so he focused on her. But then blinked back to Vanion and looked at the Crystal ball.

Vanion lowered his head. "Governor. My apologies for my abruptness. I bring you a gift."

She turned slowly to look at Vanion again as that serene smile formed. "Hello Vanion. A gift' How nice of you."

Vrastiel stayed silent as he watched Vanion. He was sure Vanion would not recognize the Mask as Vrastiel since no one had seen his face and he was much much larger than the last time he had seen him...but Vrastiel knew Vanion just by rep.

"A ....'thank you', for coming to my challenge match the other evening." His hands were still outstretched almost piously.

"Ah. And you won. Congratulations." She extended a clawed hand out to him to accept the gift. "It was quite the entertaining match."

Vanion smiled under his robe as she took the crystal ball and he stepped back. "Soon, you may not think so kindly of me, Governor. However, for today, you have my appreciation for supporting the Isle of Twilight, and its magic."

Kitty's mind held the ball inches from her hand as she looked at it, then to Vanion again. "I never said I thought of you kindly. I barely know you. However, the Isle shall always have my support."

Slowly Vanion's hand outstretched towards the sky. "Tonight, things here will begin to change. I have given you this crystal so that you may watch tonight's events, and know the truth. I can only hope you will have an open mind."

"Change?" Vrastiel's eyes rose from the ball and to Vanion slightly.

"Change is inevitable, Vanion. It's how we deal with it that matters."

Slowly a finger rose to mime a "shhh" where his lips were hidden under the shadowy hood. "Tonight, the world takes its first step towards becoming a little more balanced. I hope that you will watch."

"You can guarantee it."

Vanion bowed, and then stepped backwards, into the shadow of a nearby wall; disappearing from view and the area. "Have a good afternoon, Governor."

Vras raised brow to Vanion at the Shh and then watched as Vanion left.

Kitty watched him disappear, then looked at the ball that hovered above her hand a moment while her other hand rummaged in a pocket. She brought out a black velvet bag that sparkled with fae dust and magic, which she slipped the ball into, drawing the strings out to close it. "I have a feeling this doesn't bode well."

She most definitely would need to speak to someone more familiar with the magical island....and soon. So much for completely relaxing on her day off. Blasted mages!

Kitty had contemplated that crystal ball for several days. What to do with it' Well, it was suppose to be for watching, so watch she did.

Every night her sister came over to keep watch over her while she tried to use the ball to see what was going on. For a number of nights, nothing happened. And then...

As Kitty set the ball on the table in front of her to peer into it, images begin to appear. Fiery images of destruction. Her brow furrowed as she stared, trying to make sense of what she was seeing. It took only moments for it to become all too clear.

She could see the priests of Myr'Khul rampaging through the Old Temple District, destroying not only homes, but the families that were within. The men...the women...even the children! Oh no! Not the children too! If she had paid attention, she would have noticed they were all Catholic, but the sight of children being so brutally killed overtook any other thought process.

Kitty suddenly turned away from the orb, wretching as her stomach empties it's contents. Chryrie immediately reached out and placed wards over the ball, unsure of what was happening to her sister.

"Kitty?"

Feline eyes focused on her sister after a moment. Her tail was lashing with the intense anger she was feeling.

"He's killing....families. Entire families. Even the children."

Chryrie's eyes kaleidescope eyes swirled black. "I will do what I can."

As the fae disappeared, Kitty's mind reached out for anyone who would listen. It was a call to the people of the town. A plea. Every marble she had handed out. The silver marble she had received. Those who she held closest to her heart. Mu, the dark shadow queen's priestess. Everyone, was reached for. She only hoped they would listen.

"~Help!!! Vanion's minions are killing families in the Old Temple District! He must be stopped! They're even killing the children.~"
