Welcome and Introductions

fiohelston "All right. Welcome everyone! If you haven't grabbed some food or a beverage, dig in. Pizza's from a little local place called Pizza and Beer. Cupcakes are courtesy of the Bon Bon Boutique. Yummy stuff. We'll get started here momentarily."

Eregor ::entering in time to hear Fio's announcement:: Oh, Bon Bon cupcakes" Excellent!

King Cheese pizza grabbed next. Spotting a few waves, she did the right thing and returned them with her beer-held hand.

Rhiannon Brock ::Rhi was not long after Matt coming through the door. She snagged some juice and headed for a seat::

Marc Franco ::Late, late, late. But nonplussed and seemingly unconcerned. The pink haired Marc heads in, snapping his cell phone shut as he moves to find a seat. Waves all around. Some air kisses — particularly for Caroline and Fio. Favs!::

Katt Soda...Pizza. Wave to Victor and Matt..sneak sneak over to Ed. "Excuse me, mon fr're" Do you mind if I join you?" She blinked at Fio and uh..raised her soda. Snicker at Gory. Wiggle finger wave to him, Rhi and Marc.

Rhiannon Brock ::She gave Eregor a grin:: Yes, Katt's trying to take over Rhydin with yummy goodies.

Rage and Shadow Time for him to move quickly, grab some pizza, a single cupcake, then a nice mug of his own root beer before he too returns to the couch to settle in for the meeting. He gives nods to Katt and the rest.

Eregor ::he gave Rhi a wink before taking his own seat in the non-GAC part of the Tavern:: All hail the KattBatt!

Steve Armstrong "Yeah, yeah, yeah," Steve snorted again, but still fought of wry amusement. A kiss caught Fionna's chin, scant moments before another swipe at her rear, before the machinist was swiping a whole pizza for himselk, a pitcher, and a few on Katt's cupcakes and moving towards the back. It made for a potentially better heckling vantage.

Myria Graziano ::heads on in, figuring Kheldar'd need a proxy::

Caroline Granger Her tired face lit up with a smile for Marc, blowing a kiss right back to him before her head tipped back to extend her grin to Rhi and Eregor with a wave for both. Directed to the blackboard, she scanned it for a moment, folding her hands on her lap. Maybe if she held her bag on her lap, she wouldn't feel so self-conscious about post-baby belly.

Edward Batten Fortunately, there's a seat open next to him, which he gestures to for Katt with a grin. That is, if Her Governorship doesn't mind.

fiohelston She fended him off with a grin and a mouthed "Save a couple slices for me".

King Agenda. Right. She should really go check that out. She'd leave behind her pizza and head over to the board and read over it.

NorseLady Kidskin's removed and tucked behind her weapons belt before taking the first bite of that slice of deep dish cheese and pepperoni pizza. "Mmmmm." Chews it slowly and thoroughly. A couple of swallows of cold root beer soon follows.

Rhiannon Brock ::She waved back to Caro::

NorseLady A glance to the indicated board, then drinks some more dark brew.

Katt Amusement tugged on her features. "You missed what I was wearing earlier, Gory. You would of gotten a kick out of that." Hey it was casual night...Um..Fio won't ..mind" She took up the seat and squirmed on down into it.

Marc Franco ::A wigglewiggle of his fingers to Katt before he dropped into a chair to put his attentive face on for Fio.::

fiohelston She blew a carelesss kiss to Marc, eyes shining as she watched people file in and get settled. "Keep getting your food. I am going to call the meeting to order, though, so listen up."

Myria Graziano ::if nothing else, she approved of the food given Mikey had made it and her brother Tony was the owner of the place::

Eregor Oh yes"

NorseLady Puts on her listening ears as she continues to enjoy the food and beverage provided.

King So the meeting was starting. She got the basics on the agenda, then looked around. Matt was spotted. He was a baron, she was a baron...Well - she'll just go linger close by him since she had no idea where to sit.

fiohelston She let the applause die down, sneaking a sip out of her beer, before continuing. "Next on our agenda..."

Myria Graziano ::Pizza trumped clapping. She ate::

Edward Batten Followed by his own round of applause, beaming with pride.

NorseLady Smiles at the Garou whispering back to him, "Ja. A lot of fun!" Feels like waggling her eyebrows like so many of the males do, but she refrains.

Katt She managed out a quiet chuckle when she was nudged and gave Ed a little grin. "(vs) Not sure why I am getting one, though."

Teagan Hey....

NorseLady Finishes the last bite of her pizza, licking her fingers afterwards. Of course, she does use a napkin, too. Mug retrieved, and a swallow of its contents downed.

fiohelston I mentioned in the last two meetings the receipt of some land from the Ravensheart Academy that was given as a gift to the City. NorseLady Now that is an interesting piece of news.

fiohelston "As a reminder, any registered voter in the city may submit their opinion or another suggestion. They do have to sign in, when they enter the polling place. "

fiohelston "Please encourage your friends, neighbors and acquaintances to participate. I'd like to hear what the public has to say before a decision is made."

Rage and Shadow His pizza gone, he washes it down with the root beer before starting on the first cupcake. The city land is an interesting tidbit, and he makes a mental note to find out about this area soon.

Ebon Ilnaren ::he mouthed the words "ball pit" and gave a thumbs-down gesture, shaking his head::

King Glance from Teagan, to Fio, then back at Teagan. She'd keep quiet and just sip at her beer for now.

Steve Armstrong With his accelerated metabolism, the machinist had already stuffed down two slices of the meat heavy pie, and was already working on his third. Between slices he was putting a heavy dent in the beer pitcher's contents.

Caroline Granger "Sure you want every Granger weighing in on that?" Caro grinned, and choked at Ebon's gesture. She was still a little bemused by what sort of balls had been proposed for that idea.

NorseLady Slide of glance to Victor for a moment or two.

Eregor ::he was enjoying some pizza and....beer" Yup. Brandy and pizza go together about as well as Scotch and pizza::

fiohelston "Absolutely. Whoever is interested may vote."

Teagan :: Nudges Matt out of the way of some pizza and beer:: Perfect place to stand, aye' Saving this for yourself"

Rage and Shadow His gaze moves back to Shy, and he offers a small smile to her.

Katt She gave Ebon a little smile but no respond. Instead she stuffed her mouth full of pizza. Granted her mind was going over what Rhi could be giving that look for.

fiohelston "Are there any other questions on this item before we move on?"

NorseLady Leans in and takes a bite of his cupcake.

fiohelston "Absolutely. If they select other, they're encouraged to provide more details."

Rhiannon Brock ::More important concerns had arisen and Rhiannon had let her idea for the land go by the wayside for the time being. Fionna's response to Ebon caused a little smile to appear.::

fiohelston She glanced around to see if there were any other questions before continuing.

Edward Batten Brandy probably goes worse than scotch with pizza. The beer is good though, which he's nursing as his two pieces of pizza are now gone.

NorseLady A glance to the board to see what is next. Hand lifts to cover her mouth before a burp escapes, muffling it. Now she has more room.

Rage and Shadow He laughs softly, but she is welcome to it.

Steve Armstrong Oh, was that the gossip rag guy' Yes! There was no subtle way to move a whole table without making noise, but Steve was all but juvenile in the way he dragged the heavy wooden furniture towards Franco. He was leaning in to whisper moments later. "Love your work. That sh*t is priceless. Oh, and....the governor keeps gnomish and spider monkey bedslaves..."

Zombie Outbreak Alert

fiohelston Annnnd....moving on...."Next on the agenda. I've received some intelligence from several sources that there is a high probability risk of a zombie outbreak in RhyDin during the next 30 to 90 days resulting from the crash of a cargo plane carrying lab samples, north of the city."

Goldglo ::he nodded in Katt's direction::

Caroline Granger Caroline goggled at this. "I beg your pardon?"

Marc Franco ::Smug. The smile he shot Steve was oozing smugness. He sunk a bit deeper into his chair to get comfortable, pulling out his phone. An addition to his 'To-Do List'. Skewer Armstrong. Use flair.::

Steve Armstrong Now that got the machinist's attention.

King "Uhh.." That didn't sound good.

Rhiannon Brock ::She murmured as she heard Fio:: Bust out the tomahawks.

Rachael Douglas More notes were made in that precise left handed handwriting on her notepad. Faint twitch of the scar along the left side of her face.

fiohelston "There will be a public messaging outreach in coordination with the Welcome Centers this week. Use your good judgment. Don't get eaten."

Katt "I know a couple of zombie hunters." Is not kidding...The look she gave over to Ed was a sneaky little 'not your doing right"'.

NorseLady Slow blink of light blues when she hears what Fio just relayed. Quickly turns her attention upon the Governor, then looks at the Garou.

fiohelston "The Centers for Public Health and Paranormal Threat Control have recommended the following tactics for dealing with a direct zombie assault. Killing blow to the head, decapitation or immolation."

Rhiannon Brock And guide zombies to The Stew if you're in the inn. It apparently ....likes them.

Ebon Ilnaren ::the mention of that plane crash got his attention:: (s) So that's what that was.

Rage and Shadow He blinks, then rubs at his forehead. He has to worry about this one. "Time to buy a shotgun."

Edward Batten The playboy holds up both his hands in a 'not my fault' gesture. Still, he speaks up. "If de Watch needs supplementin 'cause t'ings get outta hand, dat can be arranged."

Caroline Granger "Maybe someone should give the hunters in the city a heads up," Caroline suggested, knowing a couple herself.

King "What kinda' zombies we talkin' about' The slow walkin' ones or the ones that can dash at you like crazy?"

Katt And a side note to make sure it wasn't Eris either. Since she sorta wanted to help make monsters for Fright Night. "It might want to be noted to be careful since Halloween is coming up not to shot someone dressed like a zombie..and is infact one.."

Ebon Ilnaren ::raising a hand::

Rachael Douglas Sapphires shielded by the dark lenses of her Lunar gray Gargoyles flicked to the Playboy. One quickly closed in what might be seen as a wink to him.

Edward Batten He nods to Katt with a chuckle. "Fair point dere."

King 28 days later zombies are serious business.

Goldglo You could also run away from 'em. ::in his mind, more people would probably get hurt trying to eliminate zombies in such ways than anything else::

fiohelston "'Unreasoning undead with a hunger for live flesh,' is the definition I heard. Depending on age, they may be in some state of decomposition. They are not sentient."

fiohelston "I am not sure how quickly they can move. But yes, don't randomly kill trick or treaters, please. Ebon?"

NorseLady Slips her hand into Victor's.

Katt She chuckled quietly at Ed. Either for agreeing or raising his hands. Mhm...you've been up to something she is just still trying to figure what...Give her time! Still..the man was given a light nudge.

Rage and Shadow Stupid undead, at least. That is something. Could still be moderately 'fast,' though. He gives Shy's hand a squeeze as soon as her hand is in his.

Rachael Douglas "Cerveau. Cerveau." Delivered in that dry as Isle sands tone of voice. More notes were made.

NorseLady (w) "Na I am worried about the children and the elderly in this land."

Ebon Ilnaren Governor, has anyone sent word to the outlying villages" Particularly those to the north'

fiohelston "There is a chance that they may flock toward populated areas at night - the Inn, this tavern, the arenas and other event venues."

Goldglo I'd answer that, but my mouth's full. ::to Teagan, before taking a large bite of pizza::

Caroline Granger Caroline raised her hand. She had something helpful to add.

King Brows perked at Teagan. Shoulders shrugging lighty. She had no real answer either.

fiohelston "Yes, but if you would care to help coordinate additional efforts, Ebon, then by all means, it will be welcome."

NorseLady Of course she worries about them all of the time, but a zombie outbreak makes things so much worse.

fiohelston "Caroline?"

Rage and Shadow He gives a nod, understanding the thought immediately.

Teagan :: Raises her hand:: Does bloodthirsty count as hunger for flesh'

King "Since it's gettin' all cold will the zombies die out or somethin' in winter?"

Ebon Ilnaren ::nodded:: I'll do that.

Katt She gave a little wince and glanced over to Teagan.

Myria Graziano Sounds like a buncha hooey to me. ::commenting into her beer stein::

Caroline Granger "Uh, we have a couple of large empty buildings on the Maple Grove compound that could be used to house and protect children or vulnerable adults while this is going on," she offered. "Our security will be holding the perimeter, too, so they'd be well protected."

Rhiannon Brock ::Rhi was jotting notes. Teagan's comment caused both brows to raise::

Teagan :: Great, now she was getting looks:: Just....wondering. Honest.

King Teagans question had her thinking. Thinking face and all.

King "...Hunger to bite flesh, maybe?"

fiohelston "Thanks, Caroline. I'll make a note of that and for the other questions. I honestly don't know. They're excellent questions. Am making notes and we will get answers."

Steve Armstrong "It'll be like a tukey shoot." He looked please. Oh yes, did he look pleased.

Teagan :: Back to whispering to King:: What if you think someone is stupid" Are they just borderline sentient' Which way does that count for"

Marc Franco You do realize your brain will be eaten first now. The person that says that always dies first. ::a quiet aside to Myria with a pleasant grin::

King "Then I'd be wonderin' why they were allowed outside of special-schools." Whispers back.

Edward Batten He catches Teagan's whisper - he has exceptionally sharp ears - and mutters to himself, "Depends on de person..."

fiohelston "I'll make sure that we get an information packet together and sent out. If you think of other questions, let me know. We'll have something together by this weekend. In the meantime, please be careful."

Katt Another nudge to Ed. She heard that...

NorseLady And she hears Marc's remark, and is amused by it. The female Viking truly does have a sick sense of humour, as some have said over the years.

King "This is spooky s**t." Gave her the heebe jeebe's.

Ebon Ilnaren ::he made a note to have Ten maintain a regular patrol around the estate grounds....just in case. Hard to sneak up on a beholder::

Teagan I made it out of school. :: Almost snapped at King, then she voiced her next question without much thought as usual:: Do we need permits per zombie" Is it illegal to lure them with brains"

fiohelston "No permits necessary. And I would say it depends on whether you can find any brains."

Teagan Literal brains....not intelligence....

fiohelston Bright cheeky smile. She'd just finished her beer.

Teagan :: Now she was staring at the back of Matt's head::

Rage and Shadow He chuckles quietly, hearing a couple things that he finds amusing.

King Ahem. That had her quieting up. "You could lay out dead animals an' pick 'em off with a rifle...like huntin' chipmunks with peanuts."

NorseLady At least she is not laughing out loud at the morbidity of the discussion taking place. Perhaps they are all sick.

Teagan Shhh....:: To King, then points at Matt's head::

fiohelston "I believe they specified that these zombies prefered live flesh, but you could try it." Answering Shylah.

King Beer brought to lips. Shh mode.
