The Governor's Office announced at the July Government Advisory Council (GAC) meeting on July 11th that Dib Jaster Aurene has been appointed as the chief auditor in charge of the government Fair Labor Agreement (FLA) audits. His appointment to this volunteer position was effective July 4th.

Mr. Aurene, who authored the FLA, has extensive experience conducting similar internal compliance audits in his role as the CEO of Dominion Exports. He will be leading the efforts of a team of volunteers with a variety of backgrounds in accounting, auditing and procurements.

The government's benchmark audits are expected to be completed by fourth quarter 2011.
