Next week, the project to repair and revitalize the streets and avenues of Rhydin kicks off with survey teams marking out sections in most dire need. Local work crews will also be recruited at this time; anyone interested in applying, please apply with the Department of Public Works. ((i.e. reply in this thread))

Work begins in earnest immediately following the Beltane week of celebrations, on May 11th. The major, most heavily travelled routes will be covered first; as was pointed out in the March town meeting, they do see the most wear-and-tear. Repairs will be conducted in sections starting in the Old Market District.

Note that the Marketplace itself is not a high priority for repair work; due to numerous incidents, it has actually been repaired several times over in the past few years.

Any questions, comments, suggestions or complaints may be directed to the Governor's Office.

Ebon sighed as he reviewed the latest reports from the road crews. The project was running fairly smoothly, with the main streets in Old Market and many of the smaller avenues patched up. Survey teams were already checking Seaside, though given that district's thinner population, the Governor expect that it would be a quick job, and New Haven the same.

He noted that crews seemed reluctant to approach the Little Elfhame area, opting to work around it rather than enter. With a chuckle, Ebon resolved to write to Jewell Ravenlock and confirm if her neighborhood even needed any work. If so, perhaps it's time to recruit an elemental or two.
