"What was that?" said one rather confused, Brian Ravenlock, as he looked to one rather excited Kerrithra Al"Tuatha.. The self proclaimed "Queen of Mithra Mayhen", founder of the "Lostest Boys", and not to mention, a decorated war hero, as well as a few other nifty little things here and " well, you get the point. In any event, there she stood before Brian, at the breakfast table, of the Ravenlock house, as she repeated herself, with time with some serious emphasis. "I said the Governor has gone missing! It's all over the post! That crafty news guy's paper, the one who interviewed you, when ya took office, yeah him! Says the Gov, has gone MIA, and no one seems to have any word, and they are trying to contact, the ministers, and what not." Making her point more so, Kerri produced a newspaper and quickly tossed it to the table before Brian, as she nodded once more. "See, Brian, it's all right there. Looks like, the Gov went up and took off, or maybe something sinister happened!?" The paper now in hand as he began to read the article, a bit. "Kerri, let's not get a head of ourselves, alright' This isn't the first time, a Governor has gone off for a bit, with no word. As I recall Governor Helston did it as well, and the world did not come to an end, then, right' So let's not get carried away." Kerri turned, grabbing herself, a mug as she then poured a cup o' joe, and rightly snagged, a muffin from a near platter, nomming, as she replied.. "Mpph...Mrpph' Mprhh ee do' Whmph, itz murphn mmph rpht yeah?" Oh how easy it would be, if she had just taken her time, then again, if she did, she would hardly be Kerri, and that my friends would not be a good thing. Luckily, Brian here, happened to be somewhat fluent in 'stuffed mouthed Mithra speak", and for all you gutter minded ones, keep in mind, we are referring to food..

So reply, he did. "Well, Kerri...It's business as usual. The city needs to keep running, and it will. Let them deal with whatever they want, we still have jobs to do, and we will see them handled, you know" So that is what we will do. Exactly what he hired us to do." And came a garbled response, via the muffin nomming Mithra. "Elections" Please...This isn't the first time, this has happened. I doubt it will ever get to that. We'll get the ministers together, and figure this out. I am sure it will not be close, to what this rag makes the possibilities out to be. Either way, the city runs, as is and we do the same job, right' Also have you contacted Miss Westbury' In reference to the department head meeting, for this morning?" Que one more stuff mouthed reply, coupled with a gulp of coffee.. "Alright good, let's give them a heads up, push it back to 1100 hours, and see about the other ministers. Epona can handle, the squad details for the "EMS", and what not, with no issue. So let's make sure we get a hold of Public Works, Parks & Rec, Solid Waste, an Human Resources...Oh yeah, let's also get the Education, and Medical heads, as well. I'd like to see what we can do, about the mobile medical, and education initiative. Oh yes, and also, let's see about the taxation records, for that tenement, as well. " Finished with her nomdetude, Kerri offered a noddled reply, and then left the kitchen to further ready for the day. Looking over the paper once more, Brian asked..."So Governor, where have you gone, and more so, what will come of this...Seems like the post here, is already chomping at the bit, no?" His breakfast finished, Brian then rose from the table, and cleaned up. While most mornings within the Ravenlock house were utter chaos, this was a sharp contrast, as Jenai and the girls had left early. More so, given this new event, that was a good thing, as he honestly had to ponder what may or may not come of this. It was bad enough, calls for election, and an acting Governor, were cited by the post, and what not...He could only imagine what else, would be called for, when word spread. Either way, the city had to continue to run, as it had before. And run it would. As he had stated to Kerri, they had jobs to do, and each job would in fact be handled. So it was off to Town Hall, for the Minister. Ah the joys of civil service, no"
