Just wanted to say thank you for continuing to include Eurus in the theater. I wish I had time to play him more, but since I can't I like knowing that the character is still involved in something and i try to make it a point to reference the Shanachie Theater in every post.

Once again, thank you.

Glad to see the latest production's been received well! ::laughs::

Occurs to me that I haven't actually explained the two separate companies operating within the Shanachie, either. Basically, the Theatre Company focuses on the big productions - mainly the musicals - and the Repertory on the smaller - the dramatic plays. While each is performing, the other is rehearsing. When they get together, it'll be for big productions of dramas - mainly Shakespeare until I pull my finger out and actually, you know, create something.

As always, the door is always open for anyone who wants their character to audition. Once you're a part of either company, you stay in my cast list until you tell me otherwise.

Hope everyone's having fun!

It wouldn't have been half the success it was without the involvement of everyone who volunteered their characters' time and businesses to make it a big event.

Huge, massive, enormous thanks to everyone who got involved, even if it was just lurking! Icons will be coming your way soon!

Huge apologies to everyone - my modem died a death on Friday and this is the first opportunity I have had to get online and make sure you all know I'm not dead or deliberately ignoring you.

Please, please, PLEASE get involved with the Premiere thread if you fancy it. I know for a fact that Jon and Aimee will be adding their attendance onto the thread sometime in the coming week, as will I, so anyone else who fancies saying they saw Fifty Shades of Grey Rhy'Din style is more than welcome to post their attendance and wardrobe.

Also ....in the process of cajoling a reporter to write something about it, so you never know - if you're in the thread, you could get a mention! How's that for a bribe?

I'm dropping a line to let people know that as of midnight GMT tonight, I won't be online until after the 10th of April. Moving house and supplier at the same time, and the engineer can't get us hooked up until then, so I'm going to be having serious withdrawal!

Hope you all have a fab time while I'm gone, and put up lots of stuffs for me to read when I get back!

To the players of: Lauren Calloway Xenia Chirikova Elizabeth Alexandre

We are trying to finalize the roster for the 2013-2014 theater season. If you're still interested in being part of the ballet troupe, please contact me via PM or post here.

If anyone else is interested in being part of the roster for the coming year but missed auditions, let me know, as well.

I am going to be posting the details for Cinderella in the next day or two. This will be the last ballet of the season using the old roster.

Thank you!

The cast for the next ballet, which is scheduled for November, will be derived from the new roster.

As always, if anyone missed auditions but would like to be part of the ballet troupe, just drop me a PM. Thanks, everyone!

Just letting everyone know that inventory icons have gone out to all PC members of the 2013-2014 Shanachie Ballet Company. There are still a few players I haven't heard from regarding retaining their spots in the company from last year. As always, if anyone is interested in being part of the company for the 2013-2014 season, drop me a PM. We have a lot of nifty ballets planned for the upcoming season, and everyone is welcome. I just want to say how tickled I am with the amount of resumes posted in the 2014 Auditions thread! It's going to make for an exciting new year and new season for the Shanachie!!

I'm just going to add my voice here - thank you so much for the amazing response to the auditions thread! It'll take us a couple of days to argue about who we want to put where and send out the confirmation letters - those who auditioned for more than one company, if you have a preference, could you please let us know via a PM to either myself or Anthony De Luca, by the end of Monday?

The roll call will remain as it is for one more show, and then I'll switch it around to the new intake for the year. Please note, if you want to be removed from the Shanachie Roll Call at any time, or if you have a character who would like to audition at any other time of the year, just drop one of us a note.

Anthony De Luca

I'd just like to add my thanks to everyone who auditioned. The turn out this year has been awesome. :)

Like Mataya said, if anyone missed the auditions and still wants a part in things here, please, please, please do not hesitate to PM myself or Mataya. All we ask is that you remain active in the theater by posting a small tidbit now and then and/or mention it in your RP.

For those who are interested, we created a thread here: Rhy'Din Actor Database, and you are all welcome to add your own character profile there. It's set up to sort of mimic the actor profiles on IMDb.

Lastly, we would like to invite those of you who have auditioned to feel free to post in this folder. That's what it's for, after all!

Thanks again and welcome to the Shanachie! :)

On that note....would it be okay to open up a thread for vignettes and short scenes for cast and crew that might not warrant a full-on story thread of their own? I was thinking maybe "Scenes From The Green Room" or something along those lines.

Absolutely. I had a similar thread running a couple of years ago, but since I was the only one posting to it, it died a death. Feel free to open up a thread for vignettes, drabbles, PoVs, whatever comes to mind!

Also - since I am amazingly on the ball for the first time this year - all new Shanachie performers now have an icon to prove it! The new roll call will go up later in the week.

Thank you so much for the quick Icon! Love it!

Absolutely. I had a similar thread running a couple of years ago, but since I was the only one posting to it, it died a death. Feel free to open up a thread for vignettes, drabbles, PoVs, whatever comes to mind!

I really hope you were serious about this as I have already begun a drabble" I've started something anyway.

Apollon Musag"te, ("director of the Muses"). It takes place in two Tableaux, the first containing The Birth of Apollo, and the second containing 2 variations from Apollo, one from each of the muses, Calliope, Polyhymnia, Terpsichore. It also contains dances with Apollo and the three muses, as well as Apollo and Terpsichore, finishing with the Coda and the Apotheosis.

Bear with me, as I am writing this as though Kruger is dancing the part of Apollo, remembering a performance he'd viewed before. I will be describing the dancers as he sees them, if anyone were out there where he can't see you. I will make this an open thread simply because it might be interesting to see what IC impression is made. I'm gonna try to move quickly though so get them in while you can, or at the end.

Sorry, I seem to be long winded this morning I hope you find some enjoyment out of it.

Kruger

Date: 2014-09-19 10:14 EST
I feel like I should apologize, I know that the variations are far shorter than some of the other parts. They also incorporate more of my personal interpretations than movement descriptions. The why of it comes down to the situation for me. Any dancers, other than Kruger, may or may not be there. The individual parts moved very quickly and, to be completely honest, it was hard for me to keep up mentally let alone try to describe what I'm witnessing. At least not without feeling like it comes off as a mess.

With your forgiveness, I'll try to do better for the duet between Kruger/Apollo and unnamed, invisible Terpsichore.

D ~ the nut cranked too tightly behind Kruger.

Anthony De Luca

Date: 2014-09-19 20:27 EST
To Kruger, you're doing fine. Don't worry so much and just have fun with what you're posting. That's the whole point of this. :)

Also, icons have been distributed to the new ballet members' inventories. I apologize that the icons say 2013-2014. You can just ignore that. I saw no reason to make new ones. For all intents and purposes, they are simply icons that indicate that you are or have been a member of the Shanachie Classical Ballet. Hope you enjoy them! :)

And there you have it....The Shanachie 2014-2015 Roll Call has been posted in its entirety.

Kruger

Date: 2014-09-23 06:15 EST
The fun has ended for one thread. I hereby declare Apollon Musagetes finished. At least from the perspective of Kruger, and myself. If there did happen to be any one out there peeking in for thirty minutes or so, (as my dueling weapons maker made a fool of himself) Feel free to throw any observations into the thread.

Any observations, good or bad are welcome. Perhaps your char hated it, or maybe there is a proverbial Phantom of The Shenachie in there. I don't know but it will be amusing to read I'm sure.

OOC observations I would prefer not make it into the thread, but go ahead and beat me up. I'm sure there is enough wrong in there. Understand I'm unfamiliar with ballet and the names of steps as well. This piece comes from that point, and while I could have pulled out info, Kruger has no idea what the steps are called either. I thought it important to work as one ignorant.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge where I was taking my visual from.

George Balanchine s Apollo Jacques d Amboise Circa 1963.

Okay, the short post/vapor play thread under the Green Room title is finally up. I've been trying to think of something to kick it off, and Jon's accident brought Eregor's little tale to mind.

Note that his story is drawn from real life. I wasn't Edmund—I was just one of the guards, not even the one who offered a replacement sword—and I don't remember the actual name of the guy playing Edgar, but otherwise it was pretty much what really happened. I remember that blade arcing through the air, and then we were all just standing there for a second before Edgar rallied. It was an awesome recovery, and one of my favorite stage memories.

Theater Terms This is awesome! This will definitely help me. It won't help Yas, though. Ensemble. Repertory. Libretto. Proscenium. Cue. Those are all way too big of words for Yas. The hills may well be alive with the sound of music - or will be, in a couple of weeks' time - but the Shanachie is crying out for the Von Trapp Family Singers!

So many children across the city have the talent - here is an opportunity to gain a little experience to go with it! Mataya De Luca is requesting volunteers to play the Von Trapp children. I love seeing the opportunity for more people to be involved in the theater by inviting kid performers to play the Von Trapp children. :)

And a huge thank you to everyone who has engaged so wholeheartedly in the sponsorship scheme. Seriously. Huge. The Shanachie will be five years old in October, and it's truly touching to see so many people still willing to support it. Thank you!

I would like to second that thanks! We are simply flabbergasted by the overwhelming response and interest in the Shanachie. Thank you so much to everyone who has become involved with the theater in any way, shape, or form.

We are currently tallying the sponsorships and sorting out how the theater will make use of the money. Icons are on the way - promise! We are going to leave the sponsorship thread open, in case anyone else wants to hop on board in the coming days/weeks/months.

I'll be sending out icons sometime this weekend to everyone who posted in the thread, so watch for those and let me know if I miss anyone. Thanks so much again and watch this folder to find out what we're going to do with all that moola. :)

I don't care what Mataya says. This is where the money needs to go. Yas is going to put this in her contract...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnaq0URAJpU YES! FLYING reindeer! :)

Ok. But on to business....I just wanted to see if there was an audience for something like this...

I was thinking of having WHAM! play audio recording of songs and short scenes from Shanachie productions.

The purpose is to provide a bit of a 'teaser' to the public to advertise the theater, its productions, and its performers. It's just a way to bring a bit of the theater to everyone's homes, so characters that might not attend the theater can still experience small parts of the shows. At the end of the segment, listeners would be provided details on how to get tickets to the Shanachie to see upcoming shows.

I'd like to know if other Shanachie performers might be willing to do this, to have their character's performances be on public broadcast radio. In other words, if I put this type of thread up, would anyone like to contribute to it' Like, posting youtube videos of songs or scenes that your characters do' Because this type of thing is very much an interactive thread we can all share. Why does Yas get to be the only one on the radio, right' And Jonathon Granger shouldn't get to be the only famous actor in town. :P

Lirssa is happy to help out with any project to support the Shanachie. So, if she's asked to have some of her performance on the radio, she's up for it. She'll probably bug the crap outta Yas and the other folks at the station on how everything works.

I'll help post as much or as little as you need!

Look! I finally - five years on - have sorted out the layout of the Shanachie! Yay me! Yeah, I saw the layout and was like,

WE HAVE A CAFE!"!....and TWO f*ing bars!"!"!

Yas needs to become a drunk. That would make things more interesting....No, wait. I'm trying to be good...

So, in the hopes of doing good, I put up that thread I mentioned. I hope everyone will feel encouraged to post there as you feel inspired by different scenes and songs your character performs. I started things off with "I Dreamed A Dream' from Les Miserables.

I've had the week from hell, so I'm just now trying to get caught up here, but I wanted to post to say that I love, love, love the theater pics and love, love, love the Live at the Shanachie thread. Awesome ideas and awesome work, ladies! :)

Also, love all the posts in the Green Room, Les Mis, and elsewhere. Love reading you all!

And once again, a huge thanks to all those who came out to sponsor the theater. Icons have been distributed. Please let me know if I missed anyone. Thanks, everyone! :)

Ramin Karimloo singing "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables". This and the one you shared in 'Live' were amazing. :) But speaking of being blown away...

Wow! And here I was afraid no one would want to add anything to the 'Live' thread....I've been completely blown away. +heartu+

Thank you to everyone who has been adding to the thread. I especially love everyone's intros. They are like the coolest mini-commercials for the Shanachie ever. I hope everyone, across all companies, will feel encouraged to keep posting their favorite scenes and songs to be showcased on WHAM! throughout the season. :)

I just wanted to thank Josh for picking up the little snippet at the end of Doran's post in the Les Miz thread and going with it. :)

I also agree with his opinion of the deaths of Enjolras and Grantaire, especially from the book. That's actually one of the scenes that comes to mind when I think of the novel.

"Vive le Revolution! I belong to it!"

(that's how it reads in my copy....;) )

I couldn't help mentioning the novel, as it happens to be one of my all-time favorites (as is the musical). :)

It's been pointed out to me that there is a small gem in the Shanachie folder that people may not be all that aware of, so here goes ...

And thanks to Yas for pointing it out to me!

Hey, Shanachie crew!

Last season, I did my "Acting Authority" segment for WHAM! 101.1FM. This year, I wanted to do something a little different. Well, maybe not so different. You see, last summer I did some interviews with some pretty cool characters in my "Talk Tuesdays" segment. So, I thought, why not blend the two..." Cut to now.

I just started putting up my "Inside the Actors" Shanachie" interviews. I chose to interview my fellow Theater Company actors first. I want to give a big thank you to Eregor, Arandir, and Ben. All their interviews will be going up this week. I will probably need to apologize to Rhiannon Brock, Carina Cox, and Dove Gates for any of the completely inappropriate things Yas may have said to your guys. I'll probably also have to be doing personal apologies to, well, the significant others of everyone I interview, but I'll get to those in time. Speaking of time....

I plan to get to everyone at the Shanachie for an interview. :) Now, don't expect this all at one time or anything. I'm taking this slow, cuz I got all season. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up cuz I didn't want anyone to think that I wasn't asking them. With how many Shanachie performers there are, chances are, I'm just not asking you yet. Oh, and by the way....All the peeps that started this year" Yeah, I'm asking you last. No, not because you're least important. It's because I want to give your character time to get used to being at the theater first. :) Can you imagine...

DJ Zazzy Yas: So, what has been your favorite role that you've done at the Shanachie"

New Actor: Well, I've only been in one so far....so I guess it would have to be that one.

DJ Zazzy Yas: What's your favorite hang out spot at the Shanachie" The green room' The bar" The cafe"

New Actor: I haven't even found the bathroom yet.

Yeah. No. :P

So....until I get around to everyone, check out Inside the Actors" Shanachie: http://rdi.dragonsmark.com/forums/viewtopic.php"t=29679

Just an update regarding the Rhy'Din Nights playable. I am still looking for people interested in playing cast members. I am specifically in need of male actors to fill the male roles. Anyone is welcome; however, the parts do call for human characters or characters who can pass for human.

So far, the cast list is as follows:

Lead Roles:

Ryan Connelly (an only child, parents deceased, in love with Roxanne) - Eregor Roxanne Ware (the youngest sister, in love with Ryan) - Yasmin Christopher Fitzroy (Ryan's best friend, Jacqueline's love interest) - Brendryck Alexander Stormgaard Jacqueline Ross - (Roxanne's best friend, Chris' love interest) - Annabeth Caldwell

Supporting Roles:

Amy Ware (the eldest sister) - Terry King Cynthia Ware (the middle sister) - Belle Gallows Jason Ware (the eldest of the siblings) - Asher Price Jasmin Roe (another friend) - Nana Chae

If anyone is interested, drop me a PM. Please note that all the female roles have been filled; I am only in need of male actors. I will be updating the cast list as the remaining parts are filled.

Thanks to all the players who have volunteered their time and talents. The movie premiere will take place in January, so watch for more info after the holidays. And thanks for reading! :)

It's already been said, but I just wanted to thank and praise Yasmin's player once again for the interviews. They not only make for fun reading, but are a lot of fun to participate in, as well. And it allows the characters being interviewed to share some insights into themselves that others might not know about them. Thanks again, Yas, for all your hard work. You're awesome. +heartu+

Eregor's acting opposite Yasmin as a couple again....I predict paparazzi and scandal mags spreading gossip. ;)

It's a good thing Rhi knows better, eh' +chin+ Of course there's going to be scandal and gossip. That's why Yas pays her agent the big bucks - to make stuff like that happen! We got movie tickets to sell, people!

Minor side notes...

1. The interview with Jon in Inside the Actors' Shanachie gets a little heated, and not in Yas's typical fun and flirty way. No need to worry. ICly, Yas is just jealous of Jon's movie-star-dom. OOCly, Jon mun and I are totally awesome. So we all good. :)

2. Although I've been able to follow my schedule for the ITAS....wow that's a stupid abbreviation....I'm probably going to do a bit of a hiatus for it in December. One, cuz of the holiday season, and two, cuz I got Yas's movie career to focus on now and I don't have time for you losers. ...except Eregor. +heartu+

"Hey there, it's Carina again! Again, no song from the show, since A Christmas Carol is the Rep's offering for the season, but a perfect opportunity to give a shout out to one of my favorite movies. The Muppets' Christmas Carol tells the same story, but in true Muppet style, and since I'm playing the Ghost of Christmas Present at the Shanachie, I thought I'd offer up that Ghost's song from the Muppets movie of the same name. Enjoy!" OMG! I love this.

 Carina gave me the greatest inspiration...

I would like to invite all Shanachie performers, including our Performers of Shanachies Past ;) to get into the holiday spirit and contribute one of their favorite holiday songs to the Live at the Shanachie thread during the month of December: http://rdi.dragonsmark.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=29605

Bring your Shanachie performer down to the WHAM! 101.1FM studio in the marketplace and record a song, call in and give a song request along with your holiday message to play on air, or anything else you'd like to do to send a little on air holiday cheer. :) This is a perfect opportunity for the Rep and Ballet Companies to jump on board for the LATS, too.

Thanks Carina!

I'm glad Eregor did it. Annabeth might have thought it, but wouldn't have felt herself in a position to bring it up. Once it's out in the open though, she has no problem making her feelings known.

As for the "problems" I have a feeling that this might have ironed out the last big one. At least on the "actual shooting." But what do I know? I'm just an actress. ;-)

I got to admit, I'm enjoying all the craziness surrounding this and the Christmas Carol.

Silly as it might sound, I'm working on putting together a soundtrack for Rhy'Din Nights. I currently have about half a dozen songs picked out, but I'd like about a dozen, so if anyone has any favorites they'd like to see included and that would fit the theme of the movie, drop me a PM, and I'll consider them.

Also, if anyone has a character who's a singer or member of a band and would like to be part of the soundtrack, drop me a PM, as well. The more the merrier, as they say.

Thanks, everyone! :)

It's always a pleasure to see that people are enjoying the Shanachie's on-going - and to me, frankly astonishing - success!

A note for those production watchers dropped here - the next installment of the schedule has been posted here. The Shanachie is, as always, closed for maintenance over the month of January, but for the sake of RP, rehearsals for the Rep and will start on January 25th, and the Ballet and Theater Companies will be resuming their rehearsal schedule on February 1st.

Hope that helps!

I have to give credit for my writing to the Cinderella Pantomime that Mataya picked as inspiration. If you want to see the point in the show where "Yas" makes her debut on the stage as the Wicked StepMother, check it out here: https://youtu.be/adb3Sfo__nE"t=368

On a side note to the Shanachie crew....

I'm probably going to be skipping this month's interviews. I got a new schedule at work and need a little time to adjust to the changes. But in order to try to keep everyone else's interviews on time, I plan to do the people I had scheduled for January at the end instead. So the peeps that I said I'd get to in February, count on a PM from me in a few weeks.

The move is not a reflection on Sid and the WestEnd, just me covering my bases here - I never asked for permission to put the Shanachie in the WestEnd folder, and I don't feel right insisting on having it there when the theater isn't a part of the original setting, now I know it's player-created. The last thing I want to do is add to any stress felt by anyone involved with various folders.

Just a line to let you all know. ;-)

I don't know what ya'll are talking about...

But I will say this - it wouldn't be the first time Yas walked off stage each night of a production....

Though this will be the first time it was scripted. ;)

P.S. I will have you all know that Yas's title is Diva - with a capital D.

OMG! For those of you that missed the premiere of Fashion Week 2016, you missed out on Yas modeling for the main show along side Saila, Josette, Serah, Eless, Antonia, Bailey, Sabine, and Jewell. Check out the "Apparition" ensemble Yas wore for the show. She's also set to make a special appearance for Muziak & Co at 2pm today in the Main Tent. How hot am I" That's right!

Yas to her agent: Oh my gosh, Eddie! I'm in Fashion Week!

Eddie: Aren't you worried you're a little too much of a has-been for a role like this"

Dearest Mataya,

I don't know your nickname or I'd use that - Brend's fine for me, by the way. My whole name is too much, and 'Lord Stormgaard' I'm leaving on the back burner until this whole thing with Scott Disick burns out.

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed them.

Warning: This character doesn't so much break the fourth wall, as straddle it, riding like a bull while whipping a cowboy hat back and forth.  Just a little note to help with the context for all preceding and forthcoming ic or ooc statements addressed specifically to 'Brend'.

So. The directorial notes that I'm taking from that are these:

Ok, so you've never directed me and that's a misnomer for the type of notes - but since 'Lady in Charge' looms large authority wise over every other title, I thought it fitting to label it thusly.  And not to be political, I just needed to share the idea that just came to me with someone - if Hillary wins, what a consolidation of power!

1. Skip the poignancy and insight.

...so glad Brend and I spent so much time worrying about proper speechifying...

2. Dive straight into the chucklehead routine.

I get where you're going with this. Subtle. Mataya's  got a child with a striking resemblance to a young Brend.  I dunno, it's a lot to risk; imagine what would happen if some sleazy shock jock DJ got a hold of what you just said?

Anything else you need, I'll be in my trailer.

Congrats, you've got a new roomie! For years he's lived in a dilapidated animal hide tent in front of a campfire on the Bristle Crios grounds, so sets and set trailers are a huge step up for him in terms of living conditions. He'll keep away intruders at night, and always keeps his direct environment pest free - so it'll be like having both a cat and a dog, but completely housebroken. Assuming the trailers have the water still hooked up of course; if not this is going to be a real disaster...

Best regards,
Brendryck

To be fair, I really wanted to be around when you were doing Phantom, I just couldn't, didn't have the time; obviously I had to encourage everyone I knew to have a listen to 'Music of the Night', because....well....let's be honest everyone should at least hear that once.  I guess what I'm trying to get at here is, I don't care how popular the show was - just because Brend is squatting around the property and living like the proper Phantom, does not mean he's going to start wearing a mask. Other than the occasional evening icepack.

A note to everyone in the Ballet Troupe:

The annual Spring Gala is coming next month! This is your chance to showcase your character and show all of Rhy'Din what they are really capable of!

Please PM me with the choice of dance you would like your character to perform during the gala. You might want to offer a few choices in case of duplicates. If you have a regular dance partner, feel free to include them, too.

Also, if there are any players whose characters are not part of the troupe but who'd like them to participate in the gala as a guest performer, let me know that, as well. Please keep in mind the gala features ballet performances only.

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you all! :)

Some things I wanted to say"

1) Thanks to Anthony De Luca for letting Yas be in the Spring Ballet Gala. She's far from a proper ballerina, but thanks to a little practice on her end and his trust, I think Yas pulled it out enough to keep up with the true ballet"ists. :) Thank goodness the Gala is a once a year thing. No way Yas would be willing to put in all that work year round. 2) Thanks to Leonard Sheldon for letting Yas be his performance partner. He definitely took a chance on this diva. +amorous+ I know the attention whore, and I doubt even I would have trusted her not to try to upstage him. A true gentleman, and a talented....ballerino' I should look up the male form of ballerina before I make comments...

Last, and most importantly....

3) When I was pulling Yas's Polyvore outfit together for the Gala After Party, I saw these Dolce and Gabbana earrings, and I was like, "Oh my gosh, this joke writes itself?"

So, in summation...

Everyone's invited to the After Party! http://rdi.dragonsmark.com/forums/viewtopic.php"t=30619

Just a little additional information regarding the production of One Thousand and One Nights. I did not post a cast list or synopsis, as it's a pretty complex play with lots of stories interwoven into the main story and lots of characters, but the principal actors are as follows:

http://static.standard.co.uk/s3fs-public/styles/story_medium/public/thumbnails/image/2015/09/16/08/AN79221658684-05e-Shot_02_0.gif
Delilah Davis (NPC) - Shahrazad

Kit Wylie (NPC) - King Shahriyar

http://coolmenshair.com/wp-content/uploads/CharlieCoxHairstyle-long.jpg
Dorian Hadley (PC) - Shah Zaman

Billy, Melody, and Amber are additional NPC main cast members.

You're going to have to wing it a little, my friends, because there are just too many parts to cast them all, but I imagine the main cast members play multiple parts and that the play itself is the most well-known version.

You want icons" I got icons! Anyone posting in the One Thousand and One Nights thread before the end of the run will earn themselves this nifty little icon:

http://rdi.dragonsmark.com/forums/shop/images/1001%20Nights.jpg

In addition, with Mataya's gracious permission, I am extending the play to run until September 18th. So get posting, people! ;)

Huge, huge thank you to everyone who auditioned this year! I'm going to have to keep on top of who gets what role! ~chuckles~ The new Roll Call is up, and the PMs have been sent out - Welcome to the Shanachie!

As always, you are welcome to post in the Shanachie folder, and I will draw your attention to The Green Room, which is the perfect place for those little drabbles that don't seem to go anywhere but need writing anyway!

One thing I am asking, though ....I would like to see some posting from all those involved. Not for every production, and you don't have produce something profound every single time. But I am instituting a new rule this year, which may not be very popular:

If there is no presence from your character either in production threads, personal threads, or the Green Room thread for a period of three months, Mataya will fire them. And if Mataya fires a character, they will never be employed by the Shanachie Theater again.

Harsh, I know, but I need to be hard line on it, finally. If there is a reason for that absence, please let me know via PM - I'm not unreasonable, and nowhere near as scary as a lot of folks seem to think!

But the point of this post was to say .....thank to all auditionees and returning performers, and congratulations! Welcome to the Shanachie!

EDITED TO ADD - Icons have been distributed, too!

Just posting a quick reminder that there's only one day left to post in the One Thousand and One Nights thread, if you'd like to earn an icon.

Please note that only players who actually post to the thread will get an icon, as I do not have time to check other threads or chat logs for mentions. Sorry about that.

You don't have to post anything complicated, just that your character attended at some point. I'll be sending out the following icon later this week to those who have posted to the thread.

The first ballet with the new ballet troupe has been posted. In case anyone is unhappy with their role, I want to assure you all that EVERYONE will receive a starring role at some point during the year. I am all about fairness and I assure you that everyone will get their chance in the spotlight.

If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding anything having to do with the ballet, please do not hesitate to PM me. I don't bite ....hard. ;)

Happy gaming, everyone! :)

I'm so happy to see when someone accepts a prize from the WHAM! 101.1FM Request Line giveaways and writes about it.

...which is why I want to point out Sabine stopping by Weddings by Miranda to pick up her prize...

I vote she get a tiara. This is why: https://www.youtube.com/watch"v=WjUSFHRCEOI

Brief bit of news, folks!

As of the events of this meeting, the Roll Call has been adjusted accordingly. I am reliably informed that Aran and Carina wouldn't mind people mentioning their unexpected voluntary demotion, if it occurs to them. ;-)

No joke. I found this metal pin at a local store.

I think someone is using my character's name without my permission and selling it for a profit....In fact, they made a profit off of me cuz I had to get it. LOL!

How awesome is this, though'

And yes, I know, to everyone else this is just the new fangled way the kids are saying 'yes' now-a-days, but all I can see is my Yas. :)

Attention, attention!

Ladies and gentlemen of Rhy'Din, The Nutcracker is coming! And in a flash of inspiration, we have decided to ask if anyone out there is taking ballet classes at De Luca Dance. If you are (played characters, please), would you be interested in playing a small part in the first act of The Nutcracker, to fill out our roster of adult performers playing parents at the party?

If the answer is yes, please PM me, Mataya, by midnight EST on Saturday 10th December, so we can add your name to our cast list.

Hoping for some interest!

This Christmas was our "Last Christmas" with the music treasure, George Michael.

George Michael dies at 53: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-38432862

Aside from singing my favorite Christmas song, "Last Christmas", he was one of the members of the amazing band, Wham!, which is where I took my inspiration for Yas's fictional radio station's call letters.

To see all of the other inspirational people we lost in 2016, check out the link below. I hope they will not have to add any more names in the few days we have left in the year.

Hope everyone is having a lovely time over this holiday season, whether you're working or resting or playing! All the best for 2017!

Also ....two more days and three more performances of The Nutcracker - last chance to add something to the thread before it closes and the Shanachie is on hiatus for a month. For those in the Theater Company, your characters will be needed for intensive rehearsals starting on January 23rd (one week only of rehearsal this time, because they'll have all day to do it in!).

Those who are guests in the Theater, please, please let me know if your character is available to do Fame - it's a big cast, I need all the help I can get!

Also, the STARS are back for their next semester! Anyone who would like to post a guest lesson, please do drop me a PM and we can work something out. AND! Anyone who has a child character, or child NPC, who would like to be involved in STARS, also drop me a PM with the name and age, and I'll add them to the roster.

Just an FYI ....

Miranda has very recently accepted a position with the Shanachie as their new costume designer. Her first task will be to design the costumes for Giselle, which the ballet will be performing in March and which will feature newcomer Harper Melle in the title role. She will also be helping to finish up the costuming for the upcoming musical, Kismet.

Miranda has a bubbly personality and is very much an extrovert, so it's easy to assume she'd make it a point to get to know the people she's working with and for.

If anyone has any questions or wishes to mention her in their RP or posts, feel free. Also, if anyone would like to join the Shanachie's costume department, feel free to drop me a PM.

Of course, a huge THANK YOU to Mataya for allowing Miranda to join the fun at the Shanachie. :)

Thanks for reading, everyone! :)

Anthony De Luca

Date: 2017-04-09 11:02 EST
Just a quick heads up ...

Even though Giselle is technically no longer playing, we're going to leave that thread open for another week or so in case anyone wants to post there. I know people get busy, and I don't want to close it too soon.

If your character is a member of the ballet and you haven't checked the boards recently, please do so as I make every effort to give each PC member a lead role at least once a season. Unfortunately, there are only a handful of ballets per season and I have to spread the leads around.

For your information, the following are the ballets scheduled to run for the remainder of the year and dates. The schedule can be subject to change, but usually doesn't.

5th to 24th June Annual Spring Gala

14th August to 9th September La Sylphide

13th November to 2nd December Faust

As always, the Spring Gala is the time when you get to choose what dance you'd like your character to perform. Stay tuned to this board for more information about that in the coming weeks, but it's never too early to start thinking about what you'd like your character to do with that.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to drop me a PM! Thanks for reading! :)

NOTICE TO ALL SHANACHIE BALLET MEMBERS:

The Spring Gala is only a few short weeks away, running from June 5th - June 24th. As always, this is the time when you get to choose what dance you'd like your character to perform, so start thinking about it and drop me a PM with what you'd like your character to do with that. You might also want to offer a few choices in case of duplicates. If you have a regular dance partner, feel free to include them, too. Please only choose ballet numbers for your character's featured dance, though it does not have to be classical.

If I do not hear back from you by the end of May, at the latest, I will be forced to choose something for you, and I would prefer everyone choose something for themselves.

Also, if there is anyone whose character is a professional ballet dancer or who's had professional training and would like to join the ballet for the event, drop me a PM with what you'd like your character to do, and we'll work something out.

Thanks, everyone! :)

Anthony De Luca

This is just a reminder that I will be posting the info about the ballet's Spring Gala next weekend. If you have not done so already, please let me know if your character intends to take part and what dance you would like him/her to perform. This goes for both members of the Shanachie and guest dancers. So far, I've only heard from two PCs, and there is plenty of room for more, so feel free to PM me. I don't bite. Promise! :)

Auditions are over for another year, and we have a fantastic mix of old and new to grace your (virtual) stage with for the next twelve months. All who auditioned, please check your PMs - your acceptance letters have been mailed. If I missed someone, tell me!

The first post in the Calendar thread has been updated, so if you want to see what?s coming up for the rest of 2017, go take a peek! The STARS are shining - this time, with me actually having added the profile links in for the PCs involved.

Hope you've all had a brilliant summer! Hugs and kisses from the Shanachie!

Okay, people! I'm running out of ideas for ballets, and I need to pick a few for the upcoming season. We've done pretty much all of the popular ones, as well as a few obscure ones. So, feel free to PM me with any suggestions, and I will take them into consideration. I prefer classical ballets, but I'm open to doing a few contemporaries, as well. I also don't mind repeat performances, so long as they're not repeated in the same year. Keep in mind that they have to be ballets I can actually find information about online as to synopsis and cast members. Thanks, everyone!

NOTE TO ALL BALLET TROUPE MEMBERS

Due to some personal scheduling conflicts, I have made a small change to the Shanachie calendar with regard to the ballet schedule, as follows.

The Spring Gala has been moved to summer and in its place, the ballet will be performing Coppelia.

23rd April to 12th May Coppelia Shanachie Ballet Company

25th June to 14th July Summer Gala Shanachie Ballet Company

The Summer Gala is the time when YOU get to choose what dance you'd like your character to perform, so start thinking about it and drop me a PM with what you'd like your character to do with that. You might also want to offer a few choices in case of duplicates. If you have a regular dance partner, feel free to include them, too.

Regarding Twelve Angry Men, we were a little bit late posting this one, as it was a particularly difficult play to cast. It should be noted that we "borrowed" some cast members from the theater group for this play. With the exception of Yassidy, the ladies get some time off this time around. There's a reason for that, but you will have to wait a few weeks to find out why. :)

Just a quick note....My apologies for missing Father's Day this year for the WHAM! 101.1FM: Request Line.

My father passed away a couple of months ago. I have been spending more time with my mom since then, which is probably also a factor in my less active status online. But anyway, I just wanted to make that small comment just so people don't think I was maliciously overlooking Father's Day. I just didn't have it in me. But, as always, the Request Line is open for anyone at any time for any occasion, so don't feel like Yas has to start it up if you'd like to request anything. :)

Oh, and if anyone asks ICly why WHAM! didn't do a Father's Day Special, Yas will just claim that she got the months mixed up on her calendar and didn't realize it until it was too late, but she's got an extra special Thanksgiving Day Special all ready to go. ;)

I am so sorry my posting has been all over the place for the last few months, folks! I have no excuse, not really. I have updated the first post of the Calendar thread, for anyone who wants to see what?s coming up. Fingers crossed I won't forget to open the auditions in a couple of weeks!

Mataya

Date: 2018-08-31 18:36 EST
Last chance to audition for the 2018-2019 season roll call - the thread will be locked when I get online tomorrow. Two things I need to point out, however;

- Any child character who is in STARS is automatically considered to be on the Roll Call, and does not need to audition. Just PM the character's name and age, and I'll add them to the STARS list.

- After paying closer attention to the timeline of shows and rehearsals, I am putting my foot down. A character can be a regular in one of the companies only. They can guest in two, but not if they are already a regular in one. There are two exceptions to this rule, because they have plausible circumstances that allow them to manage it.

To clarify, if you are a regular in the Theater or Rep Company, you are committed to two weeks of long days of rehearsal followed immediately by two weeks of performances (for the Ballet, the rehearsal time runs over a month, and the performances three weeks). Rehearsals and performances for the differing companies overlap. It is just not possible for most people to be able to attend rehearsals and perform a different show in the evening. I know on Rhy'Din that anything is possible, but Mataya would never forgive herself if she let someone burn out through over-work.

Mataya

Date: 2018-08-31 21:09 EST
Okay, I'm done. I've been polite. Polite apparently doesn't cut it.

It seems as though a few things need to be made perfectly clear here.

I do not just run the Shanachie Theater. I created the Shanachie Theater. It is my setting, and I open it up to others to create playable situations.

So what does this mean'

Well, it means that if you give me attitude, I can and will prevent your attempt to join the Shanachie's Roll Call. If you message me expecting to be given special treatment without offering even a modicum of respect in your approach, you'll be lucky if I allow your character's audition to remain on the board. Anything that I deem inappropriate posted in the Shanachie Theater forum boards will be deleted.

No, I am not punishing anyone. No, I am not singling anyone out. I am trying incredibly hard not to be bitchy, but push harder, and I may not stay that way inclined. Since it needs to be explained, here is the explanation.

It takes a lot of time and energy to put on a production in a theater. The Rep and Theater Companies would, in the real world, be signing up for two weeks of intensive rehearsal for every single show they're in - long days, not just a couple of hours and then home. The Sunday between rehearsals and first performance would be the longest day of all, set aside for technical and dress rehearsals - during which anything could go wrong and set time back another hour or more. Some technical and dress rehearsal days I have been a part of have not ended until 4am. The Ballet Company rehearses intensively daily - that's every day, regardless of whether or not a performance is being prepped for. Performers are expected to be in the theater at least an hour before the curtain goes up, sometimes more dependent on costuming and make up. It is a massive commitment to be a part of just one of these companies.

If you have a child character (NPC or PC), you can sign them up for STARS with a simple PM to me, and they are automatically on the Roll Call for any production that requires children. They do not need to audition, or be on the official Roll Call list, in that case.

That is my logic when I say that you cannot have your character be a full member of more than one company, and even guesting in another company is dodgy from a pure time point of view. These are the exceptions I will make;

- A full member of the Ballet Company may be able to guest for the Theater or Rep, provided they are content with taking minor roles in their guest places.

- A full member of the Theater or Rep Companies might be able to guest for the other (not the Ballet), provided they recognize that - should they have roles in adjacent productions - their roles will be minor in both.

- If you feel your character can do more, and can explain how to me in a way that doesn't condescend or suggest that I have to do what you want, then feel free to PM me so we can discuss it.

Write ups and casting take a surprising amount of work to get sorted. Yes, I know I have been lax with them in the last few months, but surprise, surprise, I am an actual person. I have my own problems to deal with, which no one is entitled to know the details of. If I choose to share those details, it is with people I know and trust.

My setting, my theater, and my time are not yours to piss about with as you wish, or to shit on just because I'm not bending over backwards to make you feel special.

I hope this is now clear to everyone who seems to have a problem with my stipulations. If you feel like PMing me to bitch, don't bother. And I'm sorry this is an angry post - I'm really not in the mood to be messed around right now.

Hey, all! The majority of the new Roll Call is up, as is the new roster for STARS (which I have been shamefully lax with, I do apologize).

There won't be any acceptance letters going out this year, purely because I'm struggling enough right now without adding more work for myself! ~chuckles~ What you need to know is -

- If you're Theater, rehearsal starts on Monday 10th September. - Repertory, rehearsal starts on Monday 17th September. - Ballet, group training building to rehearsal in the fullness of time begins 8th October (but you are encouraged to make use of the facilities before then).

Love you guys - should be an interesting year!

Thank you Mataya and Anthony for your incredibly kind words! It has been such a pleasure to be a part of The Shanachie Theater for these last few years. I continue to appreciate the huge effort it takes on both your parts to keep the theater and ballet companies going. I tend to struggle with getting my posts up as quickly as I would like, but it truly warms my heart to hear you enjoyed the read! <3

Just a note that we were late posting Wicked because of real life and all. Please feel free to post for your characters anyway! We'll leave the thread open for a few weeks to give people time to post, if they so desire. Sorry about that. Better late than never!

We've also updated the calendar, in case anyone is interested in seeing what?s coming up in the next few months.

As always, thanks for reading, and happy posting, peeps! :)

We're a little behind posting here lately, but the Summer Gala is coming soon, so members of the ballet should start thinking about what they want to do with that.

I may do a little something different this year and let everyone post their own dance, so start thinking about what you want your character to be doing.

The Gala will take place from June 24-July 13. Anyone who might like a guest spot should let me know well in advance.

Any questions, drop me a PM.

Thanks for reading! :)

SHANACHIE BALLET ANNUAL GALA NOTICE

Once again, just a reminder that the ballet's annual gala performance will be held starting June 24th.

This year, it's up to YOU to decide and post what piece you'd like your character to perform, either solo or with a partner. If your character is a member of the ballet, that gives you just one more week to decide what you would like to do for your performance.

Please note: Your performance should last no longer than a few minutes. Also, please keep your choices limited to ballet, though you may use this opportunity to perform contemporary, as well as classical pieces.

Next weekend, I will add a post to the forum and leave it open for players to post their performances. You can post your performance however you wish. Feel free to add a link to a video, if you so desire.

The point of the gala is to give the players an opportunity to feature whatever performance they so choose (within reason) for their character, so please JUST HAVE FUN WITH IT!

Once again, if anyone has any questions, feel free to drop me a PM. Thanks for reading and looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with! :)

I am LOVING the Summer Gala so far!!!

Zahan - I feel really stupid for saying this, but....Oh my gosh.....What an addition a tambourine makes! No joke. And like, I doubt I could kick higher than my waist. ...I feel like I need to go work out and do some squats or something...

Pearl - OMG! I laughed so hard. I loved this SO BAD! And then after all that, I think I sent the link to everyone I know so they could watch it! I will say this, I always believe that in order to give the appearance of being 'bad' at something, you have to know how to do it right, and then some. It is harder to 'mess up on purpose' than it appears. I loved it!

Ripple in Time - What the heck" Why have I not seen this before!"! These two amazing kids are absolutely the coolest things I think I've ever seen! I think I need to watch this show more often so I don't miss out on gems like them. Thank you so SO much for sharing this clip. I love it!

De Luca - Perfect choice. :) I have always loved Swan Lake. Granted, I love the Disney movie more. :P ...Don't worry people, I say that with love. :)

Maggie - I loved the movie 'Leap'! I think it is so awesome that you were inspired to use a scene from it. :) I loved everything and every character in that movie, especially how the characters grew in so many ways. My favorite will always be Felicie's mentor, Odette. <3 I especially loved how you could incorporate it into a perfect scene for Maggie and her sister. :)

Browsing various ballets and dancers, I got to wondering which are some of your favorites. What ballets do you like most' Are there any you'd like to see us perform in the future" Who are you favorite dancers"

Discuss! :D

On behalf of my other PC, Pearl, and NPCs, Rick and Catie, thank you, Yas! I love the Summer Gala as it gives an opportunity for our characters to display their personal favorites.

A much belated thanks to Josie's player for honoring Maggie's dueling achievement!

As far as dancers, I've been viewing a lot of youtube videos with young dancers to get a feel for how kids dance. Some like Gisele Bethea, a ballerina from Arizona are amazing. Then are the tiny tots that are all over the place or the sassy little gal that steals the show in a tap performance to R-E-S-P-E-C-T. The one I find inspirational is Suzelle Poole, nearing 80, and still dancing.

The gala is only set to run for another day, so if you haven't posted your performance yet and still wish to do so, please do so soon. We'll keep the thread open for a little while yet, in case of late comers. Thanks!

Hello, all!

Just FYI, I've been working on cleaning up the folder and fixing pics and broken links and such. I also turned the WHAM Request Line and Green Room threads into stickies so they are easier to find.

Posted a new play today, so hope you all have fun with that!

Many thanks to those of you who've been posting replies to the shows. We enjoy reading them and hope you all enjoy writing them! You're all made of awesome. :)

As always, if anyone has any questions, comments, or concerns, let us know!

Hi, folks! You may have noticed that the annual auditions thread has been posted. Please note that everyone - whether you are currently on the theater roll call or not - must post in the auditions thread letting us know you intend to continue with the theater for the next production year. Otherwise, we have no way of knowing who wishes to remain and who does not.

Also, please take note of the following:

    * Any child character who is in STARS is automatically considered to be on the Roll Call, and does not need to audition. Just PM the character's name and age, and we'll add them to the STARS list.

      * Also, a character can be a regular in one of the companies only. They can guest in two, but not if they are already a regular in one. (There are a few exceptions to this rule, because they have plausible reasons that allow them to manage it. If you believe your character should also be an exception to this rule, PM myself or Mataya to let us know.)

To clarify, if you are a regular in the Theater or Rep Company, you are committed to two weeks of long days of rehearsal followed immediately by two weeks of performances. For the Ballet, the rehearsal time runs over a month, and the performances three weeks. Rehearsals and performances for the differing companies overlap. It is just not possible for most people to be able to attend rehearsals and perform a different show in the evening. We know that on Rhy'Din anything is possible, but please be reasonable with your requests.

Please note that we make an effort to cast everyone as the shows rotate, and we do make a concerted effort to give everyone a chance at a leading role, so please watch the board for new shows to see how they might affect your character(s).

Lastly, for those who are not auditioning, there are other ways to participate in the theater, either as theater employees or as audience members. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to drop me or Mataya a PM, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

As always, thanks for reading and hope you all have fun with this! :)

Just letting everyone know that despite yesterday's deadline, there is still time to audition for the Shanachie's 2019-2020 year, as the next show scheduled is Balanchine's Apollo, which is being performed by the 2018-2019 ballet company.

We will be posting the 2019-2020 roll call soon, but you still have time to audition. If anyone has any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to PM me or Mataya. We don't bite ....hard. ;)

And forgive me for casting Tony in the lead role, but I just couldn't resist (and he rarely dances these days). :D

Just a quick note to those who have auditioned for the ballet company ...

I'm starting to put together the roll call for the new ballet company, listing principals, soloists, and corps members. Generally, I like to pair two principals up as regular dance partners, and rotate between pairs for lead rolls.

This year, we have a number of new dancers, so I have to decide who will be paired with who, and who will be featured as soloists. Tony, Anya, and Irina would most likely make those decisions, but I'm posting this here in case anyone has a preference.

Is there another character in the ballet you would prefer to be paired with, or do any of you prefer a soloist role? I can't promise it will always work out with every show, but I will do my best to take everyone's preferences into consideration when casting.

If anyone has a preference, drop me a PM to let me know, and welcome to the Shanachie! :)

Oh, we're getting The Bald Soprano to open the Repertory season. That'll be fun! I can picture some of RhyDin's folk being confused as hell by Ionesco, and others just getting it in a snap.

"Oh, by the way....the bald soprano?"
"She always wears her hair in the same style."

Hello, everyone! The new Roll Call is up, as is the new roster for STARS.

We won't be sending out acceptance letters via PM this year because frankly, it's a lot of work, but these are the important things you need to know:

- If you're Repertory, rehearsal starts on Monday, September 9th.
- Theater rehearsal starts on Monday, September 16th.
- Ballet rehearsal starts on Monday, October 7th (but you are encouraged to make use of the facilities before then).

The first production of the new year will be the Rep performing The Bald Soprano, which runs from 9/23 - 10/5. We regularly post a list of upcoming shows on the Shanachie Theater Calendar thread, if you're interested in taking a peek. Rehearsals obviously take place prior to productions, but we don't post the cast lists until the shows are scheduled to take place.

This year, we decided to not only post the performers in the Roll Call, but also some of the people who run things behind the scenes, so that everyone knows who's who.

We followed the audition requests as much as possible, but don't hesitate to contact us if you think we missed something or if you have a question. Also note, we did not list the band members because there weren't many auditions, but you can assume that if you auditioned for the band, you were accepted.

If anyone has any questions, concerns, or problems with the Roll Call or anything else concerning the theater, please do not hesitate to drop me or Mataya a PM.

And as Mataya likes to say, remember to have fun with it! :)

Just so everyone is aware, you may have noticed that some of the posts here show that they have been "edited" by me. I have not actually edited anyone's posts, but have Modified and Saved those with pictures in order to resize them to fit the new message boards.

You may have also notice that the Polyvore thread has been deleted, since Polyvore is defunct and all the pics were coming up broken. We can certainly add a Fashions thread, if you all would like to see one again.

Also, TinyPic no longer works, so if you have any of those posted here, they're broken, too. I've tried to fix what I can, but I may have missed some things.

Lastly, there are a few threads you are welcome to make use of, including the RhyDin Actor Database, the Green Room, WHAM, Show Tunes, and the OOC threads. (Please do not post to the Calendar, as we use that for posting shows as they come up. There will be a separate thread posted for each show, in which you can post for your characters.)

I think that's it for now. As always, drop one of us a line if you have any questions, and thanks for reading! :)

Just a quick note that the theater will reopen for business in February. We are currently compiling a list of performances for the season, so if anyone has any special requests, send them to me via PM ASAP. I can't guarantee that we'll be able to include them, but we will consider your requests.

Also, just a couple of minor changes on this year's Roll Call:

- For the ballet, Christian Benoit has been moved from principal to guest performer, as he has taken on the task of Assistant Director

- Josh Stuart has departed the theater company, due to other obligations, and is being replaced by Arandir, who is returning as a guest performer.

Keep an eye on this thread for our first performance of 2020, which should be posted next weekend. That's all for now. Thanks for reading! :)

SHANACHIE BALLET ANNUAL GALA NOTICE

This year's annual ballet gala will be held starting June 22nd.

Like last year, it's up to YOU to decide and post what piece you'd like your character to perform, either solo or with a partner (or both). If your character is a member of the ballet, that gives you just two weeks to decide what you would like to do for your performance.

Please note: Your performance should last no longer than a few minutes. Also, please keep your choices limited to ballet, though you may use this opportunity to perform contemporary, as well as classical pieces.

On or around June 21st, I will add a post to the forum and leave it open for players to post their performances. You can post your performance however you wish. Feel free to add a link to a video, if you so desire.

The point of the gala is to give the players an opportunity to feature whatever performance they so choose (within reason) for their characters, so JUST HAVE FUN WITH IT!
