Annabeth stepped into the greenroom and glanced around. She'd probably get to know this place like the back of her hand before the year was out, but for now - . Now it was new, unexplored, at least by her. Now was the time, before things began to get hectic, to get the feel of the place, to soak in the atmosphere. Heck maybe even to see the ghost, but she didn't hold out much hope. In her experience, the more you wanted to see a ghost the less likely it became.

Instead she just meandered through the room. A few minutes in one corner, a few seconds in this spot, nothing definite, no pattern, rhyme or reason, just pure intuitive absorption.

After about an hour of just moving and thinking, reading announcements, and whatever else grabbed, she found a small corner, cracked open her school copy of Streetcar, and began to read.
