The WHAM! 101.1FM radio studio didn't trust Yas to make the best choice of attire for an elegant Ballet Gala. She couldn't go as looking like her wild self. She was actually in the Gala and they wanted to make sure she gave it the proper respect it deserved.

Against her will, WHAM! hired a personal shopper to pick out a tasteful ensemble on her behalf. The woman chose a jewel tone teal green dress with large darkened yellow roses in a floral print, along with tea stained stockings and teal green lace up pumps. Once she began picking out a set of gold and teal abstract printed bangles, Yas's complaining finally got the best of her. Relenting, she agreed that Yas could pick out a piece of jewelry. But, knowing Yas too well, she gave her a specific set of requirements. Earrings only. Green, yellow, and gold colors only. And, this was the most important part, they had to be from a real designer. She was too afraid Yas would come back with some dime store gaudy looking thing. Yas agreed to her demands and went out to find her earrings.

"What are those!"!" The personal shopper gasped as she saw the earrings Yasmin had picked out to pair with her chic gala dress.

"They fit all the requirements," Yas explained. The earrings did in fact have a nice brassy gold tone, green leaves" and yellow bananas dangling down.

"There is no way those are designer!" The woman contested.

"Yes they are," Yas clarified. "They're Dole and Banana."

"Dolce and Gabbana,? the woman muffled behind a face palm.

It really is amazing what a little bribery can do. The morning of the Gala After Party, Evan was absolutely dead set against wearing anything more modern than an Edwardian frock coat. After seeing the dress his wife intended to wear, and being told that if he didn't dress right, he wasn't coming, however ....look how well the owner of the Brambles Orchard cleans up.

Yes, even the dancers from the Gala were in attendance. Having debuted as a pair on stage both as dancers and as husband and wife, there was no chance that Christian and Merethyl Benoit would not be at the after-party. Christian had apparently won the fight over whether or not his wife would be wearing shoes, too.

And what would the party be without its hosts?

After taking Sofia home and giving her into the capable hands of her grandmother, Tony and Anya returned to the Shanachie to join the after-party, mingling to congratulate the performers and thank the attendees for their generosity in purchasing the tickets in the first place.

As they made the rounds, they made sure to inform everyone they spoke to of the cause that the proceeds of the party were going to - the renovation of the Seven Towers Orphanage, which specialized in providing shelter and care for the children who, through no fault of their own, were unable to be sheltered in the conventional orphanages. The innate mages, the children born with abilities beyond their control ....these were the children that were so rarely adopted, and yet needed that stability almost more than others did. Mataya De Luca and Jonathan Granger were working together to make the Seven Towers a better environment for those children, and that was the purpose of this little fundraiser.

But it wasn't all work. There were smiles and warm words to share with each and every performer that had shared the stage with them during the Gala - with Melissa Burlington, with James Willis, with Yasmin and Leonard and Josette, and with Christian and Merethyl Benoit. There were thanks and cheerful conversation with the others who attended, too - with Caroline and Humphrey Granger, with Canaan Devillier and his companion (and a promise to pass on his thanks to Mataya), with Evan and Marin Lassiter, with Edward and Lisbeth Granger, and with their little ballerina-hopeful, Zahan.

Tony and Anya shared words with everyone there, determined that no one would leave without learning a little bit more about the ballet company, and the Seven Towers Orphanage.

After such fun performing with Yasmin during the Spring Gala, it was a great cap to the show to attend the after party. Nothing better than getting a chance to dine, drink, and maybe even dance some more with the elite of the city.

At the chance to do so, he thanked Anthony for the opportunity to dance in the gala, and thanked Canaan again for the fun in the pop up performance for Vivant. He enthusiastically chatted with anyone who had a mind to do so.

It was good he had the following morning off.

Saila had never been to a ballet, which seemed like as good a reason as any to go. She bought herself a single ticket and sat rapt in her seat until the performance was over. Afterwards, she hung out at the After Party for a time, where she likely spent some time with Cane and Sal.

Any performers she saw she would be sure to congratulate and tell them how amazing they all were.

Having met Josette at the Hair or Dye Braiding Bar during the Beltane Festival, Grace was curious about the Gala. A dancer herself, she was eager to check out the local ballet and cajoled Mark into attending with her.

Afterwards, the pair spent just a little time at the after party, long enough to have a drink and for Grace to do a little mingling. She said hello to those she knew or had seen at the Festivals, congratulated all the dancers, and also stopped to congratulate Cane on the Vivant Showcase from the previous week. Rounds made and drink finished, she slipped out again on the arm of the gypsy king.

With Phen by his side—or he by hers, as he maintained that she looked far more stunning than he could ever manage—Ebon mingled among the crowd at the after-party.

He congratulated the dancers and everyone who put so much time and effort into the Spring Gala. Furthermore, he pledged to match all donations and ticket sales for the after-party in full from the Governor's Discretionary Fund. "Bringing help to children with talents and gifts beyond the norm has always been a cause dear to me, and I am proud to support the Seven Towers renovation!"

Xzavier liked any excuse to dress up and go out, and he had a not-so-secret love for theater and art. While his tastes usually ran a bit darker and dirtier than the Gala, it sounded like fun all the same.

The suit came complete with a cane topped with a skull (which talked) and he even wore nice shoes for once.

Josette was thrilled to celebrate the end of the run of the Spring Gala with her fellow dancers, as well as have an opportunity to chat with some new and familiar faces at the after-party.

She was happy to see Saila again, whom she had not seen since the fashion show, as well as the lovely Grace and thanked both of them for coming and lending their support for the orphanage.

Josette made sure to spend as much time with the delightfully spirited Zahan Granger as her heart desired, eager to hear the little aspiring ballerina talk about her hopes and and all of her favorite moments from the Gala. She invited Zahan and her parents to come and watch a future rehearsal, if they so desired, so Zahan could get a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes at the ballet as well. (If Anthony and Irina would allow it of course!)

Spotting Lucy, Josette's face positively lit up and she gushed excitedly about how the enchanted butterflies from the PUBLIC gallery's booth at Beltane had brought so much joy to the children of The Seven Towers orphanage.

If she was able to catch Cane before he left, she made sure to congratulate him on the success of the Vivant Showcase and express how much she enjoyed his performance with Lirssa.

By the end of the evening, the ballerina was eager for the cozy embrace of her bed for some much needed rest!
