A formal letter was sent out addressed to the Lady DeRomiano and dispatched accordingly:

Lady DeRomiano,

One of your Sisters, Janie, has suggested that the students of the Harker Dueling and Defense Academy might benefit from a visit to the Temple of Scathach.

It is my contention that learning of the beliefs and customs of the followers and Priestesses of Scathach will be a good way to introduce our students to religions that are not their own. I also hope that it will be a means of teaching them to respect the tenets and customs of others even when they do not share them.

As you may be aware, our students rang in age from four to sixteen years. The youngest two being my sister's four year olds. I hope that you will be agreeable to this request. If you are, please contact me with information on what attire, including weapons and armor, would be appropriate for such a visit.

Please accept my sincere thanks for your consideration in this matter.

The Scathachians had already been instructed that their behavior would be on display. Not only out in the public streets, but here, within their private home. Rhiannon Brock was escorting a group of children to the Sanctuary for instruction and enlightenment in defense and spirituality. The women found themselves the objects of curiosity and education.

Sheryl was beside herself with effervescent joy. She had even prepared a "child-friendly" lecture of the condensed history of the Scathachian religion that for some reason Isuelt said wouldn't be needed.

Janie was acting like the cat who ate the canary, seeing as how it was her bright idea that had led Rhiannon and her squires to seek out the Scathachians.

Delphinea was only mildly put out with the thought of children and other onlookers running around, poking into their holy business. But "mildly" was actually pretty good for Phin, according to the other girls.

The others had varied opinions about the visit, though most of those opinions were slanted positively. Isuelt felt that the time was right and she responded to Rhiannon.

Rhiannon;

It would be our great honor to host you and your students for a day of education at our Sanctuary and private temple. We would welcome the opportunity to educate your students to the teachings of Scathach, the goddess of war, as well as offer a lesson or two on the defensive arts of battle.

We are at your disposal, my friend. Let us know what you require of us.

As always, Loyally,

Isuelt
