After a bit of wandering, Brian had finally arrived home to the compound and was promptly greeted by Jeskola, and concerned Kerrithra, who again were soundly waved off, as Brian walked thru the front door, and headed directly to his office without another word.

Kerri, and Jes followed and both tried to say something, yet no words came from the elder Ravenlock's old friends, as they looked to each other, waiting for one to come up with something to say, some way to lift this mood. In the end, each one could not come up with anything, and both met with the slamming of a solid oak door in their faces.

Remaining at the door, Kerri looked to Jes once more, and Jes to Kerri. The Taru could only offer a shrug of little shoulders, as Kerri nodded in turn and knocked on the solid door.

"Rav— Brian' Can we come in, we wan—"

Kerri didn't get to far in her attempt to communicate as a series of loud crashes, had interrupted her. Knocking the door again, Kerri opened her mouth to say something else, and was interruped yet again as something caught hold of her arm. This time however it was not Jeskola who stopped her.

Kerri turned sharply to address the Taru, who offered his hands in the air to show that it was not him, and at the same time nodded his head to the party that held Kerri's arm. Kerri offered a low growl in frustation that, yet again was interrupted, as emerald hues widened upon the sight of what it was that held her arm.

"Henrietta!?"

"It's nice to know I'm not forgotten, Kerrithra. It's been a while, little sister hasn't it?"

Kerri sat there stunned, and seemingly ignored the sounds of chaos that came from the closed office, as she let her eyes take in the sight of Henrietta. A human female of five foot three inches, Henrietta was hardly an imposing person, especially given her slender figure, blonde hair, and hazel eyes. She was defintely easy on the eyes, but those who truly knew her, knew something that was a far cry from her looks.

After a few moments, Kerri shook her head and turned to the door once more and was turned via her arm by Henrietta once more. Kerri's emeralds locking to other's hazels, as Henrietta shook her head to the Mithra, all the while Jeskola stood there quietly.

"I think it would not be a good idea, to do this, Kerri. He needs to get this out of his system, and from what I hear, this is long overdue for not only himself, but others too. So let's leave him be, alright?"

Kerri stood there somewhat stunned as she then slowly nodded to Henrietta, and backed from the door slowly, as her arm was released. Jes offered a nod to Henrietta, and in turn bowed respectfully to her. In response Henrietta, smiled warmly to the Taru, and gave a warm hug to Kerri, who was still visibly upset.

"It's alright, I know you don't like seeing him this way, but it could always be worse. Besides, you know how he can get at times. This time, it's just been a bit overdue. Like I said. In any event, he will get this out of his system, and it will all be fine."

Kerri noddled a bit, and gave a good Mithra squeezing to Henrietta. As she released her, Kerri looked her up and down, as the commotion inside the office still ensued.

"Wait a minute! You're here!?"

"I am."

"You're not in Bastok!?"

"That's right, I'm not."

And the Mithra's emerald hues went Blinkedy blink.

"But you're here!"

"I said that, didn't I?"

Kerri offered what looked like a seriously puzzled look a moment, and then sheer enlightenment and then a series of noddles followed..

"Oh yeeeeeeeeeeeah..."

Jeskola facepalmed, and simply walked away knowing everything was well in hand. As Henrietta smiled to Kerri once more.

"I got word back in Bastok about what happened and has been happening as of late, it seems you all have been having a bit of a rough time as it stands, so I decided to finally join you all. Besides, with He and Jenai expecting a child, do you think I would not be here to assist in any way I can, after all each of you have done for me" Anyways, I am here now, and have missed you all. Also by the sound of things, it seems he has finished his rampage."

Strangely, as if on cue, the door unlocked, as Brian emerged from the office. No words said for the moment, as he hefted a roughy 12 X 12 inch box in hand, the box was sealed shut, and several runes of warding could be made out. Kerri's eyes widened a bit, as she took note of the office behind him, which was soundly in ruins, as shelves were smashed, glass was strewn all over the floor, papers scattered about and more.

Brian regarded the pair a moment, and nodded to Henrietta slowly as he said. "You're here.."

Henrietta offered a sheepish smile and nodded in reply. "Atheala sent word, is that alright?"

"It's fine. You are family, afterall."

Brian offered a somewhat smile to the pair, and walked away from them, towards the main hall. Kerri turned, and looked to Henrietta and offered a shrug of shoulders, as Brian opened the front door and slipped outside. Moving into the office, Kerri attempted to clean a bit, as she muttered to herself. While Henrietta accompanied her.

"I swear it's like having another kid in this f*cking house...An emo one to boot! Bustin his place up like this, I mean who does he think he is...Betcha he wouldn't do that if I smacked his ass upside the head with a 17lb catfish...That'll teach his monkey ass to get all stupid on us. One fire, and he flies off the handle, who the f— Oh...Oh Will look at that.."

"Will you look at what, fuzzy butt?"

"Hey I'm serious...The cabinet is open. Why would he do that?"

"A lot of cabinets are opened in here, what do you mean?"

"No, it's the one with the WestEnd documents, that's everything we had...Why would he do that?"

It took a bit of time and some mental effort, but Brian finally stood before the gates of the former home of he and Jenai, the Scathachian Sanctuary. His eyes lowered to the box he still clutched in hand, as he stood firmly and took a step foward towards the gate. Just as quickly, he stopped and remained still, as his eyes panned the road around a bit.

He was sure someone had to have seen him by now, he knew someone always watched the gates, in some way shape or form. It had to have looked suspicious, him standing alone in front of the gate, clutching the runed box closely. The suspicous part would have been the fact that given who he was, and given the fact he had lived there for a good amount of time, he didn't make any move towards the gate once more.

A myriad of thoughts took hold, as Brian began to go over the events of the last six months. So much had happened, so quickly. Actions and reactions in a dance that seemed to never end. So much if their lives dedicated to this crusade...

WestEnd..

Had it gotten any better? Many would say yes, and nearly just as many would say no. For all the good that was done, bodies still stacked. The public still was deathly afraid. Corruption ran rampant, and they were still no where closer to that which spurred the effort, that later became the 'WestEnd Offensive'.

Friends and family set aside, relationships broken. Bridges burned, anger and frustration set in, and Brian was hardly the only one to feel this. He knew others felt it too. Lives had been put on hold, and they were no where closer. He felt desperate once more. It took everything he had, not to react in the same manner, the last time he felt this way. When he violated the graves of the first five victims, severed their heads, and proceeded to try to have them scryed, only to have them stolen from him, and now in the hands of gods know who..

So there he stood, in front of the gate.

Blue eyes blinked a bit, as droplets of water were felt. His head panned skyward, as rain began to lightly fall. Bri remained where he was, letting the rain cascade about his still form, as he continued to remain still. His eyes closed, as a deep breath was taken. Moments later a faint smile formed, as he now looked to the gate, and then approached it. The gate opened, then Brian made his way inside.

Standing at the front door, Brian reached for the large rung and knocked loudly, awaiting whomever would come.

Brian knocked and knocked, and continued to wait. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, he gave up. Instead of waiting for someone, Brian set the runed box in front of the door, and enacted several more securing charms on it. Many of which were created by his Jenai, and were in tune with the Sanctuary itself, and would not allow the box to be moved by anyone save one of the residing daughters of Scathach herself, at present...

The box itself was specifically addressed to Isuelt, and due to the several enchantments would only reveal itself to Isuelt, should anyone else try to do so, the results would be less than pleasant. Brian hoped those who would find it, would make sure it got to Isuelt, and be respectful enough not to open it, as it was addressed to her, and was also labled from Brian.

Included with the contents was a letter addressed to Isuelt, as well.

Isuelt,

Inside this package is everything that Kerri, Jenai and Myself have worked on regarding the WestEnd, everything from the very first crime scene, to the copycats, to the offensive, and more. Anything we have done is here for you all. I am sending this to you, as Jenai, Kerri and I are stepping back from this. With what we have coming up, we can no longer commit to this as we once have, and will no longer be in the area as much as we would like. We can be reached in Appleburg, till we return with our additions. Our hearts are with you all.

Brian & Jenai

Turning about, Bri made his way back home. There was much to do, and make ready for.

It was nearly sunset when Isuelt came through the front gates of the Sanctuary. Only a few brilliant slivers of sunlight boldly kept themselves striping the tall, columned facade of the building. Isuelt's dark eyes were drawn to the blatant contrast as she made her way up the shrub-lined path toward the double doors. She was nearly on the door step to the quieted Scathachian stronghold when she noticed the box.

With all things being as they were as of late, Isuelt's body clenched as she spied a foreign "gift" left on the door step of the Scathachians. It wasn't that long ago that a box had been left for poor Reeni. And the boxes that Brian and Jewell had received had been equally nasty. So, it was with a pounding heart that Isuelt examined the box and the letter that were addressed to her.

Thinking it was wiser to leave the box outside of the walls of the Sanctuary, Isuelt lifted the envelope and opened it first. She breathed a sigh of relief as she saw Brian's name signed to the bottom, though the contents of the letter left her brow furled and her heart sagging. She sighed as she stooped to lift the box and carry it inside for a closer inspection.

"Hello?" her husky voice rang out in the marbled foyer, "Anyone home?" She carried the box down the hallway, past the receiving rooms and into the kitchen. Usually that was were to find a Scathachian or two. She placed the box on the oblong oak table along with the letter, and set to opening the runed box.

There was the naked wet padding of bare feet coming down the hall ever so slowly, echoing in the quiet Sanctuary's space. There might have been other Sisters about " but Laufeia didn't run into any of them! The elder Scath helped herself to bathing away all the stinky smelly sweat that had accumulated on her over the course of the last week, after making herself quite at home again in her neglected room.

The return from her "assignment' that had riddled her with fresh scars and a rather nasty slash wound to the stomach. Her blonde hair lay matted down " compared to its usual wild demeanour. She rounded the corner, and stood in the doorway of the kitchen wearing an uncharacteristic pink dressing gown, strewn with many smaller snakes of various colouration and species, creating a living nest of serpents wrapped about her arms, legs and amongst the strands of her hair.

Bobbie wasn't happy. He hated getting wet and thus lay coiled about Laufeia's neck lazily, being a silent scaly scarf. His head nuzzled into Laufeia's cheek grumpily.

"I didn't want to open it. I sensed it were for you?? She spoke in a mutter, her arms crossing over her chest.

Comically, Isuelt's fingers which were running along the box, starting to open it, visibly flinched as she looked up at Laufeia. With all of the slithering attachments, she was not far off from the gorgon of ancient lore, Medusa herself. "Holy ....Bobby needing some company?" she smiled smoothly at her Sister.

She handed the note over to Laufeia, while surmising its contents. "Brian and Jen are bowing out of this whole mess. He was a bit cryptic, but I have my suspicions." She sighed and looked back to the box. "Well, I guess we should see what?s in this thing..."

Laufeia's eyebrows twitched as she took the note, noting her Sister's flinch and comment about the snakes clinging to her form. She grinned back to Issy as she leant her hand against the door frame, "They're family to dear old Bob?" And Bobbie was not moving, he's still a little grouchy over getting his scales wet " but gave Laufeia a gentle nudge to her cheek for calling him old!

Then, her eyes dropped down to the note" And suddenly she didn't look none too pleased, offering the note back to Issy once she re-read Jen's name a thousand times" "I suppose it can't be helped, but?" She couldn't say she was disappointed with Jen raising her hands to this dilemma, and stepping back, but she couldn't blame them. The last she heard they were starting a family' And Laufeia would rather Jen safe with her lover, than in a puddle of blood - leaving Brian by himself.

A look of maternal loss crossed her face. "My little Jen is growing up.? She mused with a smirk, moving closer to Issy.
